Yeah...you can't say you lost your turn when you never had it to begin with. Anyway, your biggest takeaway shouldn't be that you spent 2 years pining after this girl and had no payoff. It should be that you give girls 2 minutes and (minus a payoff), you move on. Simple as that. It gets easier as time goes on, but you should never ever EVER give that many days of your time to a woman you aren't fucking. Matter of fact, don't even give that much time to a woman you are fucking.

This is all well and good, but let's remember that this dude is a D1 athlete. In other words there are other forces at work in his favor besides video proof. Never forget that facts get in the way of a good story. It'd be nice if we all got this level of protection...but we don't. Protect yourselves gents, and cut off bullshit as soon as possible

In addition to all this, men need to be on the lookout for women that are trying to move in with them. You missed his point. All he was saying was that people don't like to be told something isn't possible. "Haters gonna hate" and all that dumb shit. You kind of fell prey to the example he was giving by being all, "No. You're wrong about interstellar travel, and stuff". In other words, don't say shit people don't want to hear, or may react negatively to. It was an example, and you took it personally. Why so serious?

For sure. What I've started doing recently with anyone talking about doing dumb shit, (after I've said "no, don't do it") is I up the ante. "Oh you're gonna jump off a house into the pool?". Sweet. I was hanging out with good bud of mine this week, after not seeing him for 6 months or so. Reality is what you make it. If your FB (or whatever) sucks, it's not social media that sucks...it's your 'friends' that do. I get the main point you're saying, but at the end of the day social media is a double edged sword. It's totally up to us to filter that shit. Thanks for the link. My Dad read the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Hobbit to myself and my siblings when we were quite young, pretty much until we were old enough to read them ourselves. I now feel even luckier than I did before reading this link :p

What about the three women who tried to complete infantry officer school in the Marine Corps?? They all failed btw. Why didn't this story get more circulated? Three men also failed the course at the exact same time, for the exact same reason the women did ("falling out" of endurance hikes).
