Every baby has value, and human life has value. Right now abortion is legal because of Roe v. Wade (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roe_v._Wade). It was ruled that having an abortion is constitutionally protected and it's the choice of the woman to have one or not. It's a ridiculous game to try to quantify when life begins. If you do not believe it begins at conception it opens up way too many thing for debate that really shouldn't be debated. If you read my first post I believe it's OK to terminate the pregnancy if it's posing a medical risk to the mother (like she will die if the baby goes to term) or if she was raped. But it doesn't make the argument less valid. A better analogy would be buying a new TV on a credit card. Sure, the first 6 months may be interest free, but you have to pay the bill eventually. There are legitimate medical reason's to abort a baby, and there are understandable non-medical reason's to abort a baby. Before anyone rants, let me explain. The right to choose argument is fundamentally flawed. A baby does not spontaneous spawn in a woman's uterus. And, in most cases, the act itself is consensual.
