5	The "Lorena" documentary is disturbing because it paints a woman who cut off a man's penis as a victim whose action was understandable I commend you on the specificity. However, for the Deuteronomy verse, at least, a quick search shows that the severing of limbs was used to symbolically represent payment to an offended party, or separation from something/someone.
