I don’t mean to judge or exclude you personally but if RPW isn’t rooted in traditional values and is simply “a way for us to relate to our men” how can RPW claim to then be a space for women that desire a traditional male led relationship ?

Why do you post this here and not a BDSM or kink subreddit ? Your dynamic seems to be centered around a fetish rather than traditional values.

I really do appreciate you trying to offer support and I understand and respect where you’re coming from. I didn’t clarify that well in the post since I was more so just focusing on going forward from that experience but he kind of bread crumbed me and led me to believe he was someone looking for something serious, he initiated a lot when we first started talking but after our date something shifted. I would have probably taken the hint that he was someone that simply wasn’t interested if he coa…

Thanks for you perspective, but I feel my experience was a bit different then it just being one date then no contact. We had talked for months before the date so it wasn’t some one off or a casual dating fling. I set clear expectations, communicated me needs, and called him out when he repeatedly disappeared to advocate for myself so I did make an attempt to put the ball in his court. He just didn’t follow through because I believe he’s just not emotionally in the right place right now to be the…

Men just don’t like makeup when it’s caked on/excessive. If it’s light/natural they generally don’t take issue with it

I’m going to be blunt but this is coming from a place of care. You say you’re not the type to sleep around but your actions with him say otherwise. You gave him full access to your body without ever getting real commitment in return. That doesn’t make you a bad person but I point this out so you can recognize how your patterns of thinking are harming you in the long run. What you’re feeling probably isn’t love, it’s just emotional addiction. You’re mourning a fantasy of what you thought could be…

The red pill from a female perspective and the red pill from the male perspective are a bit different. In general I’d say “red pill” women are simply women that desire long term committed partnerships and view relationships and the world in general through a more practical lens as opposed to the delusion that’s often promoted to women in society today. You don’t necessarily have to be religious or anything to be red pill but in general red pill women will lean more right of center socially. You’…

Seriously, a lot of girls around my age listen to the wizard Liz for dating advice and I have no idea why, from what I know of her she’s never even been in a relationship outside of a sugar baby context and now the guy she was with cheated on her while she was pregnant. Not the type of person you want to take relationship advice from. Shera seven is also popular but at least with her she’s upfront with her audience about her background; there’s also a few other creators popular for “relationship…

my bad then lol, it’s just sad to me it seems to be the norm for gen z to be caught up in “situationships” Despite what feminists say biologically as women we literally release oxytocin during sex ! It’s really not empowering to promote hook up culture to women, this is the result 🫠

Honestly I think you’d really benefit from going nun mode, that’s the best advice I can give

You’re 16 so you probably believe your relationship is super strong because it’s your first but please trust me it’s not worth the pain. This is the type of crap you hear middle aged couples complain about in marriage counseling, if you’re already dealing with this now it’s really not worth sticking through it especially when there are several young men who don’t have porn addictions. The truth about addiction is that kids and teens with addictions are much more likely to grow up as adults with …

It’s pretty unfortunate but understandable. There are absolutely no moderate voices of reason in the media now a days so the two choices many men have is to become a beta by listening to woke man hating feminists or ruin themselves listening to red pill dude bros that profit off their insecurities by selling them genitalia enhancing pills

I’m currently in therapy working through my problems and I acknowledge them but honestly it’s very rude to make huge assumptions about a person you only know off the internet.

Well the issue with me is I’m specifically anxious-avoidant so it’s actually the opposite issue where I believe I’ve left genuinely good people in the past very early in the getting to know them stage for very stupid reasons because I was so anxious I left at any little negative sign even if it was something I completely made up in my head 😅

Honestly this is the conclusion I’m trying to come to term with myself, I also admit i need to do a lot of growing as a person mostly due to the scars of my upbringing that have left me with a very anxious attachment style that I know will eventually harm me in the long run if I don’t get help for it which is why I’m in therapy right now trying to work through everything

Well I’m mostly asking how do I vet him for traits that signal long term potential: consistency/discipline/emotional control/ambition/leadership/etc while still being realistic knowing that I’m not comfortable going for men significantly older so from the pool of men I’m looking at there’s very few that are emotionally mature for example but there are a few who are growing in that or have high potential but I want to know how to accurately assess when the potential is really just potential or so…

Girl you need to be real. No one should ever raise your voice at you or call you out of your name, he sounds like a petulant exhausting child - I know you probably care for him since this is probably the only guy you’ve ever been with but seriously this kind of guy is only going to get worst once you marry and heaven forbid life gets more stressful and he decides to do more than just yell at you because he’s “angry”. You can’t always control your emotions but you can always control your actions,…

My opinions also formed based off things I’ve witnessed either first/second hand that I talk more about in this post, i definitely have a slightly black pilled view because of it though I get your point

I’m definitely looking for marriage in the future but right now I’d say I’m definitely looking for someone that’s also wanting a serious long term relationship; not interested in short term/hookups. I’ll definitely take advantage of the opportunities I have now though

This is way too much, please move on. You aren’t even in a relationship with him yet and you’re stalking the girls he follow on socials ?? If you’re already feeling this insecure and unstable outside of the relationship why do you want to continue ?? He’s also definitely hiding something..for all you know that’s his side piece and he’s trying to play with both of you - this doesn’t sound like a man worthy of your time or energy

21, he definitely has more experience then me. Ty for the advice, I’ll definitely keep that in mind

I get where you’re coming from completely, honestly school is wrapping up for me pretty soon so over the summer i already plan on signing up for volunteer work/internships that might also put me in a position to meet people authentically. I definitely don’t think looking good when I go out helps a whole lot for me, again - guys my age now a days especially are afraid to approach women and it doesn’t help that I’m pretty short and appear younger than my age even if I go out wearing a full face of…

What helped me most was just getting a food scale so I could get better at portion control, I mostly prioritized eating high volume + protein + fiber. I don’t believe in any off limit foods as restricting too much can harm long term weight-loss so if I did have something a little less healthy one day like fast food or a dessert I just always made sure to portion control those meals as well to fit them into my diet

Unfortunately I’m not religious but I’m down south so it’s a bit easier for me to at find someone that has the same values as me. Still have noticed these general problems in my area though and I was raised in a more suburban setting

Why do people on reddit have to be so pretentious, it’s not that big of a deal buddy. No one is giving you internet points for this 🙄

Yeah I’m not sure, it largely depends on the school she goes to but still I wouldn’t recommend going after something that already has a shaky foundation

It doesn’t matter if you’re a legal adult, he can get into legal trouble for sexual misconduct. As long as you’re enrolled as a student at that school they will view it that way legally

Do not entertain this, you have a crush on him. It’ll pass, but do you seriously want to be a step mom in your early twenties ?? You could also get him into serious legal trouble if he pursued you

Sorry, to clarify he lives about an hour away so I don’t think it’s crazy distance but it means we’d have to plan a meet up in advance, the main issue is that I don’t have my drivers license yet and I just don’t feel it’s safe to get someone I met online to pick me up on the first date. I also wanted to wait a bit longer to get to know more about him first to make sure I wasn’t talking to a catfish. Im aware it’s pretty unconventional to meet someone on reddit though Also dont mind the bluntness…

I’m not thinking about eventually sleeping with him, I brought that up because my mom brought it up. I will definitely try to meet him first though

I’ll definitely keep that in mind, I’ve got a few cousins that are pretty lazy. Highschool drop outs that just smoke weed and vape in their free time and have worked nothing but dead end jobs + don’t seem motivated to strive for better. I could really never see myself compatible with someone that lives life like that and is just content

To clarify the anti porn was actually something he had brought up naturally in a conversation where we were talking about something else somewhat related to that * but I’ll definitely keep that in mind for the future. He works in food service, which definitely isn’t ideal long term as he has to work pretty long hours and I know the pay for that really isn’t ideal so I’ll definitely keep an eye on that. He has expressed a desire for further education but is unsure of what path to take career wise…

Yeah I’m definitely not planning on sleeping with him at all on the first date, that’s way too fast 😭. Having him meet my family down the line is smart though, I’d definitely do that ^

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
