this is a great mindset if you have the funds to do so. unfortunately if you develop this mindset at a young age, you are probably having to build your life from the ground up, which in current climate takes maybe ~20 years if driven and lots of luck? By that age your best years are gone. sounds like you've found peace and are now able to live in the present moment. I am only 25 and I feel this a little already. Maybe it could be to do with a lack of deep interpersonal relationships?
