White men are certainly coveted and fetishized among ethnic women, particularly when it comes to asian women (oxford study, jbw). Any somewhat average looking white guy who’s spent anytime in China, Japan, etc knows this. The ethnic tax real <image>

In the vast majority of countries most women would pick the white guy no question.

I understand. I think white men hit the “sweet spot” for many women in terms of being found physically attractive enough (passing the looks threshold) + high enough economic/social status. Thanks for engaging with my post.

There is mountains of empirical evidence pointing to JBW and white men having a significant advantage in the dating market across the globe. Outside of certain niches it really isn’t even close

Women pair off with men who are sufficiently (fux + bux) in the same package, it’s a balance. Calling relationships strictly beta bux is reductive. Women usually secure genes and resources from the same male via monogamy, only low mate value women avail themselves to getting genes from one and resources from another (dual mating). You still need to pass the looks bar for any relationship, and white men pass it on average more than blacks.

Try to look past your own experiences and look at the data. It’s fine you see it that way, but the evidence doesn’t. <image>

It’s a relative matter, but yes older white men SEAmaxxing are mostly leveraging currency arbitrage + status boost. Can’t play fair in an unfair game. In western multicultural cities your average white man has a substantial advantage over a similar ethnic male regarding dating opportunities.

Anecdotal 1M clubhouse aside, most data points to white men being highest smv. Height certainly matters, but as far being a disqualifying factor (especially amongst white women) race seems to be more important unless you’re very short <5’7

I just find it interesting. Everyone talks about face, height, money, status but researching important factors in dating success, race always rears it’s head.

So you believe among most white women a black man would beat a white man, all things being equal?
/r/BlackPillScience18/01/26 03:45 AM

Most white women would choose a handsome 5’10 white man over a 6’4 handsome of any other race, yes.

How you come to this conclusion is beyond me. Being a white male > all. Especially at 5’9+. I’m talking amongst population average perceived attractiveness

Whites have more pronounced facial bone structure on average than asian males. + possible height advantage
/r/BlackPillScience18/01/26 01:24 AM

Yeah I see what you’re saying. Stated vs revealed preferences is an interesting topic
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 04:15 AM

Yeah I’d agree the ethnic tax is pretty substantial
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 04:04 AM

They sound pretty masculine to me. Low inhibition and marching to the beat of your own drum is attractive to many if you meet the minimum looks threshold for a particular women
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 04:00 AM

I know many young dudes with girlfriends and they aren’t all the same physically at all. Maybe it’s just my friend group idk
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 03:42 AM

I’ve known guys of different heights, faces be successful in getting girlfriends, hookups, etc. The most important trait in my opinion is being neurotypical.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 03:39 AM

And yet a walk outside will show you men who have literally none of the traits you listed partnered up and with children of their own

Both are thin people so I’d say above average by default in many states. Either way bro said she’s average at best. It’s just not true that’s all
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/25 02:53 AM

True, but that doesn’t make her average. In the States she’s easily above average no question
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/25 02:48 AM

Some of the happiest seeming people I know are rural fatty couples who paired off young

Fair point. I don’t subscribe to the alpha = good, beta = bad line of thinking. I think good beta traits (future time orientation, signalling resources, treating others well, stability, education) are a net positive if you’re able to mix them with enough physical attractiveness/ alpha traits for a given women. The blend of a/b traits needed will be different for different women in my view.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/25 05:58 PM
27

There is no contextual alpha for your face, race, height, neurotypicality. The practical approach is aiming be perceived as the most attractive of the realistic options a specific women has in her proximity. You will need to be realistic in your expectations of what this women will look like depending on your SMV/RMV and be open to compromise.

This issue is the lack of understanding in the fact that it’s a sum of parts not one feature. It’s like a 5’9 guy with an above average face vs a 6’1 guy with an average face. Some women would pick the former and some the latter. Race, location, neurotypicality all play a role too.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/25 04:06 PM

I think most fathers would say having children changed their lives for the better. I guess we just have different values. Thanks for answering

What if you want children?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/25 03:02 PM

This is a good point. I’m not denying that it happens, I’m just pointing out that there’s a good chunk of women who don’t engage in casual sex and were in committed relationships at those ages too. Regardless, my original comment was touching on the fact that most highly educated women aren’t going to be single mothers. That’s all
/r/BlackPillScience18/09/25 11:36 PM
2

Yeah that’s true, I was doing the same so I can’t judge
/r/BlackPillScience18/09/25 10:38 PM
3

Well I’m in the US. The average women gets married in their late 20’s/early 30’s here. A highly educated women within that demographic usually isn’t marrying someone after 6 months. They’ll likely have been together for years prior to tying the knot
/r/BlackPillScience18/09/25 07:34 PM
3

I’m sure some do, some don’t. I don’t think the date “chad” in 20’s, get with unattractive guy in 30’s trope is as common as people claim, no. Does it happen, sure, but based on average age of first marriage I think most women meet their spouse in their 20’s and they date each other for years before marriage.

Weird to see a comment like this get downvoted when it’s absolutely true all because it’s not doomer talk. College educated, middle class couples have divorce rates far lower than the “muh 50% of marriages end in divorce” with no context or controls https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2015/12/04/education-and-marriage/ “Overall marital dissolution and divorce rates are declining over time. An educated man would most likely be marrying an educated women. The odds of a women within that demographic having bastards out of wedlock or being divorced are low.
/r/BlackPillScience17/09/25 09:40 PM
3

Education & Class is very important because the fact is college educated couples have a divorce rate far lower than 50%. The statistic that 1/2 of all marriages end in divorce is meaningless because you haven’t controlled for education. The demographic matters when it comes to marriage statistics. If both you and your spouse have bachelors degrees the odds are good your marriage will last.

So are we going to seriously pretend there’s no correlation between married intact families, educational attainment of parents and their offspring doing better compared to kids from uneducated, broken homes? C’mon. In American too, with both my parents being educated professionals. Almost none of my friends mothers were overweight. It’s an obvious class distinction
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/25 02:41 PM
21

The divorce rate for college educated couples is far lower than that of less educated peers. It’s why people always whining about the divorce rate being at 50% without controlling for education is just stupid. The demographic matters It’s doesn’t take a genius to observe the parenting style, nutrition, time for extracurriculars, etc is different between UMC and kids from the ghetto/trailer park. How to you explain the plethora of examples to the contrary? The average age of marriage in the US is around 30 for men, of which many will surely be conventionally attractive men within that pool
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/25 02:03 PM
3

Yes they will be monogamous and it will happen in their 20’s/30’s for most. You’re making the mistake of describing you think reality SHOULD be vs how it actually IS
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/25 12:49 PM
5

The overwhelming, vast majority of good looking men will come nowhere near a body count of 100 and will marry/cohabitate monogamously long before 40-50 years of age.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/25 05:17 AM
2

Class blindness in these comments. No UMC man no matter how attractive is purposely having children with multiple women out of wedlock, that’s absurd. They will marry after tertiary education to a college educated peer and be in the demographic with low divorce rates. Lower class men are the ones far more likely to have multiple children with multiple baby’s mommas and this pool of women they will date is a different pool of women than middle class+ men do. TLDR it’s not a matter of attractivene…

Yeah exactly At a bar or club I would/do think to myself where do I stand relative to others here. I would always wait to receive and IOI instead of cold approaching. Fear of rejection definitely played a role Maybe not being attracted to men makes it hard to see what’s attractive about oneself idk

You really think he wouldn’t have any women physically attracted to him? Sure maybe below like 5’5, but a good face above that height and you’re in a good spot.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/25 06:39 PM

All women not finding the same men attractive ≠ that everyone is attractive to somebody. Clearly a false dichotomy. If a dude like Jeremy Allen White wasn’t famous I bet there would still be women finding him attractive and he’s facially average, definitely not conventionally attractive. Attractiveness is a holistic measure. A tall guy can be found unattractive because of a bad face, just like a shorter man can be found attractive because of a good face. It’s the sum of parts, not usually one sp…

Most of my friends who are married or cohabiting were the same guys who were dating, going clubbing, hooking up in college. High n count guys, marry high n counts girls, and the rest mostly do the same. It’s assortative

I don’t believe the cartoonish theory that the majority of women sleep around in their 20’s and trick a guy in their 30’s. Most people have body counts in the single digits and are monogamous. I mean look up the CDC stats, most women are living with a partner by their late 20’s. I don’t deny it ever happens, but I don’t believe it’s anywhere near the majority of marriages.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 12:21 AM

This idea that most women marry the men they rejected previously is just nonsense. The average age an American women marries is around 28 with a major chunk of them meeting their future spouses at college and in their 20’s.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 12:07 AM

Most average, neurotypical, reasonably well adjusted people will be married or cohabitating at around their 30th birthday after years of dating. Ppd will be writing about their premonition of impending AI girlfriends and why it’s actually now the 99/1 rule.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/25 11:58 PM

Completely agree, unfortunately speaking about topics like the issues with Islam still gets plenty of pushback from individuals in the west. Hopefully governments wake up and control immigration form the Middle East. They have no interest in integration but rather subversion of western customs.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 03:19 AM

True, as a 5’10 guy with a good face it’s led me to believe it’s very important given my experience, it’s obviously nuanced tho. Working out can help, but much of what makes a face attractive with low bf % are features that were already there to begin with: jawline, high cheekbones, facial bone structure, eye area.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 07:33 PM

Of course people want a partner they find attractive. The issue is when manosphere autists extrapolate that out and say women ONLY like tall, dark, and handsome, and if ur not it’s over for you, when’s it observably false. Some 5’8 dude with a decent face isn’t doomed to never be found attractive because he’s not tall. Same way a women who isn’t a literal model will still have plenty of men who find her attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 08:33 AM

There are millions of men across America who fuck and don’t have height, looks, status, or money beyond the ordinary. No doubt they help, but you don’t NEED any of that shit if you just look at the men coupled up IRL

You cherry picked one example which is fine but doesn’t depict reality for most people. The majority of people pair off assortatively across various domains like looks, socioeconomic class, IQ. I think most peoples faces are decent enough, just be low bf % and they’ll attract a partner, if they play the numbers game A few unlucky people due to bad bone structure probably only have a chance via plastic surgery unfortunately. Using it to try and look perfect tho is just mental illness imo

Yes I have been approached many times at college bars, clubs in recent years. Extroverted women can be overt especially when drinking is involved. I don’t how common it is though only have my anecdotal experiences

Idk about others guys, but the hookups I’ve had besides tinder were all from women I had met in a club setting. They gave clear IOI’s like strong eye contact, usually move within your general vicinity and look back at you a couple times, maybe flash a smile, it’s pretty obvious when a women wants you to talk to her.

Question 4All: when do you think the ideal age range is for a man to marry, start having kids? If you believe in an ideal time at all
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/25 05:01 AM

Neither do men. The vast majority of men who marry are not wealthy in any regard
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 04:32 AM

I don’t see how it’s cope. Going where the food is slower, less competition for said food, and more purchasing power is just smart

Directly from the study you posted “On average, children of mothers aged 30–35 and >35 years at childbirth were 1.5 cm taller than the offspring of mothers aged less than 30 years. This difference in stature was accompanied by higher serum IGF-I concentrations in the children born to older mothers, who were taller than children born to mothers aged <30 years. This corroborates our findings, as IGF-I is an important mediator of childhood growth” [28].
/r/BlackPillScience27/06/25 04:35 AM
17

It’s obviously not that having children at a later age causes the offspring to be taller, but rather taller women are having children later. Two 5’3 hispanics aren’t having a 5’10 child because they waited til 40. It’s probably due to taller people being higher socioeconomic status on average, lending itself to later child rearing and better nutrition which plays a minor role as well.
/r/BlackPillScience26/06/25 05:09 PM

Interesting study. I would like to add that children born to older mothers are not only taller, but healthier, and obtain more education than children born to younger mothers (Max et al., 2016) Source: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/04/160412104810.htm Seems like a fair guess would be taller, thinner people are more likely to be affluent or upper middle class+, college educated professionals. This cohort is known to have children later in life after education, marriage.
/r/BlackPillScience26/06/25 04:45 PM

Yeah thanks for sharing. I think people entering long term relationships and especially marriage have the expectation that it will be hot sex forever, when that was never the purpose of monogamy or marriage in the first place. It stabilizes societies, more equality on the mating market. Marriage is for raising progeny and consolidating wealth, strengthening the family for future generations. Having realistic expectations is something many people lack in regards to long term relationships/marriag…
/r/BlackPillScience25/06/25 07:42 PM

You bring up a good point citing the Coolidge effect. Given the data on relationships having a positive impact on men’s overall well-being (look away mstow), an interesting corollary question is whether serial monogamy, or one main partner + side pieces for novelty is ideal for many men.
/r/BlackPillScience25/06/25 06:49 PM
4

Honestly, idk. I’ve found sex within a committed relationship to be better than casual hookups personally. I’ve definitely enjoyed the novelty that comes with casual sex, but I find it more intimate within relationships, your gf knows what you like and you both know each others bodies well. Especially if you have similar kinks, it can be very passionate

This sounds good in theory, but I gotta say I see looksmatched young couples everyday. I can’t be the only one I feel like it’s kinda sub 5 cope to pretend everyone outside the top % of looks are in the same boat as them and doomed romantically

I love these definitions they conjure up regarding incels, as if they are a monolith. An incel is a man who finds himself involuntarily celibate for a long period of time, end of story. Until this is the accepted definition within academia and not some description of a militant ideologue, nothing will change.

I don’t believe height plays a massive role, it is a fact. I don’t care what women say, I’m concerned what they do. Anecdotes about dating short men doesn’t remove the fact that height is a very important part of a man’s attractiveness. Denying that being a 5’4 man is a massive disadvantage when it comes to dating is delusional.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/25 12:14 AM

Yeah you are probably right in many cases. Yeah I agree a lot of the passport bros that do organized tours are just ugly sub 5’s who are predatory. I’m speaking to at least relatively average looking yt guys, who could move for work. Your height and phenotypical advantage will most likely work in your favour within those SMP’s
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 11:28 PM

Most are not staring at 14, plenty start later and that’s normal. People’s sociosexual development happens at different times. Nothing abnormal or weird about losing your virginity in College. In fact it’s very normal
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 05:49 PM
6

The redpill is simply a description of intersexual dynamics. I understand it’s not prescriptive, but most redpillers seem to have more interest in having casual sex within the SMP than marriage or having a family as OP talked about. You can use this information for whatever your goals may be.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 04:59 AM
4

Fair enough. I think it would depend on your goals I suppose. Money can definitely allow you to fish in more ponds, but doesn’t mean you’re going to catch anything. Looks are still the most important thing. Plenty of broke men do just fine with women
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 03:55 AM
18

Redpillers are largely concerned with being able to attain casual sex with women (male imperative) not cultivate traits for LTRs (RMV). Money can certainly improve your relationship value, but does very little to inspire genuine desire (sexual attraction). Looksmaxxing and or Geomaxxing have the best ROI imo

Geomaxxing works. You are increasing your market value by changing your location which in turn changes the men you’re competing with. Your standing is about where you stand relative to your competition. Geomaxxing has a higher roi for many men compared to the constant improoove advice

Most people attempt to secure the most attractive partner(s) they can. Attractiveness is a holistic measure of many variables with both somewhat objective and subjective preferences involved. This is why you see most couples, not all, but most being generally looksmatched aka assortative mating. Looks are very important in all aspects of life not just dating, but if you observe reality it’s obvious you don’t need to be Chad or whatever to get a girl who find you attractive. The mogg is relative
