Mike Rowe is back hosting Dirty Jobs on Discovery. Before that, it was hosting Someone's Got to Do It on MSNBC (or CNN, one of the two) and promoting his foundation, MikeWORKS. And doing interviews and podcasts with people like Joe Rogan and Ben Shapiro.

I have a lot that I watch or listen to, due to driving a LOT for my job. That being said, many of these will be repeats of what other people have mentioned: - Better Bachelor - Just Pearly Things - Aba & Preach - Fresh & Fit - Layah Heilpern - Jedediah Bila - Sarah Dawn Moore - Tribe of Men - Titus Ellis Smith - The Angryman - Kevin Samuels - Courtney Ryan (This is more for fashion and lifestyle tips from a more traditional woman to men. But she also discusses red flags for relationships and pos…

Honestly, you'd be better off looking on YouTube for things like that. That being said, as someone else has mentioned, men, by and large, do hobbies as solitary activities. We do things we enjoy just to do them. Examples are: working on cars, building computers, wood working, programming, metalworking, collecting comics, collecting cards, writing, painting wargaming miniatures (Warhammer or BattleTech, as examples), video games, song writing, learning an instrument, collecting and using firearms…

Spread the info to any applicable organizations and people: her parents, the police, her doctors, her friends, anyone else you can think of that might need to to know. Make sure hey parents know that this is the kind of stuff that's the reason that you don't want to be with their daughter anymore, and that they need to make sure she gets help. Make sure that her friends and family KNOW that you don't want any contact with her anymore. And then break ties cleanly. I've been there and fell for the…

From everything I've seen and read of feminist reactions to him, it's more about herd mentality than any actual objection to him since none of them actually have watched any of Tate's content. That being said, the ones who police the thoughts of feminists and the ideology, they hate Tate because he represents everything they are wanting to destroy in men and masculinity. And that he's saying the kinds of things to men that, if they were to get their heads out of their asses, would then make them…

37 M here. I have 5 people I can turn to, 2 men, 2 women, and one woman who plans on transitioning to a man. These people have shown themselves to be my ride or die crew. The only crappy part is that they are all in different parts of the US from each other and me. I'm also married, and my wife has shown herself to not be the sort where I can turn to her when I'm feeling like I need to. That being said, I don't lean on them all that often. Most of my crap, I deal with in my own. They all have th…

In the US, on average, men work 40.5 hours per week, women work 36.5 hours per week. That is a choice that is made by each individual based on needs of the family weighed against the needs of the employer. Men make that choice and live with the results and consequences, but women complain about the choice. And this is but one of many factors that show the earnings differential between men and women. Here is a link to an article that has parsed out the relevant US Bureau of Labor Statistics data …

Yes, as someone has pointed out, the being mocked for giving your dog affection is general toxicity, in that it's not exclusive to male social norms and behaviors A better example is a man letting competitive pressure lead him into doing something that is detrimental to one's health or safety. An example of this is, when at a bar, one guy is drinking straight whiskey and one of his buddies orders something a like a Cosmopolitan (or insert any other "girlie" drink name). The exchange would probab…

Book club. You and a bunch of people get together once a week, decide what book you'll read over the next week, and discuss the previous week's book title. I'm part of an online one for Warhammer 40k novels, but I have been looking for one in my town to that caters to other forms of Sci fi and fantasy. Yeah, I don't see my divorce being a good one. My STBEW is spiteful, as well as being a radical feminist, so she already hates men, especially one's who don't agree with her. Something else I woul…

Honestly, playing TTRPGs like Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder. Check your area, you may also have a Warhammer store close enough where you could get into that, as well, provided you have the disposable income. If you find the right group, you just made a solid group of friends simply because of little pieces of plastic. I've also tried finding a book club that caters to mainly science fiction and fantasy, as that's what I'm into reading. Going to concerts when I can, slowly getting back to th…

Another thing to consider, and I'd speak to a talent acquisition agent about how to market this, but you're leadership skills aren't anything to forget about either. I'm a veteran enlisted Navy sailor, and while my situation was a bit different, as I had specialized skills due to my job rating, but I've seen officers, who don't have that sort of specialized training, get out to work in the corporate environment with no issues, or as you mentioned, leading a field crew in whatever work they were …

Dude, this sucks the big one. No doubt about it, and I'm sorry, deeply sorry, that you're dealing with it. But as you your dilemma in reconciling choices with your moral code, part of being a good provider is also about security of your family. And right now, from what you've said, she's already been a threat to you, and while not involved with the kids now, may become a threat to them in the future as she deteriorates, if she doesn't seek help. You have to protect yourself and your kids because…

I can think of several reasons why a prostitute wouldn't be used: - Can't afford it - Anxiety about prostitution being illegal - Anxiety about approaching one - Unsure where to locate such services in their area - Feeling shameful that they needed to pay for it in such a fashion - If it's their first time, or is been a very long time since the last sexual act, anxious about their own self-perceived inadequacy to perform None of these are, necessarily, voluntary reasons. That being said, being ce…

For every shooter in any military organization, you have 10 non-combat roles that need to be filled, from paper pushers, to mechanics, to medics, to MPs. Any one of those roles could be given to anyone based on certain aptitudes that will be evaluated during in-processing. At least that's how the US military would do things.

I think we can all agree in the ultimate need for abolishing forced conscription (draft) being for the good. But the reason that a lot of men are for including women in it is because it would no longer be an "Out of sight, out of mind" kind of problem. Now, I say it like that because the one single group who has enough pull both in government and in the court of public opinion to bring about this change is feminists. Since radical feminists have taken the lead, the face face of the movement has …

For anyone curious as to the reasons why men either want the selective service abolished, or to include women in it, here's why: the penalties for failing to register in the US. https://www.sss.gov/register/benefits-and-penalties/#:~:text=If%20required%20to%20register%20with,subject%20to%20the%20same%20penalties.

Generally, yes. Men tend to be more interested in working with things, so many will go into trade work. Men are also generally more willing to do physically demanding work that is outside or requires travel. Most trade work fits that description to a T. Factor in the high demand for trade workers, anyone who enters into that sort of work can usually make decent money, have no debt, and be able to relocate as needed if with dries up temporarily.

I regularly watch Jordan Peterson and use much of what he says and does in my life and dealing with my wife. The thing that set me off was her threatening my relationship with my kids. I'm normally very level headed around her. I have to be because my wife is an avowed modern woman and modern feminist.

I know. I realized that after the fact. I shouldn't have gotten angry like that, especially with her being drunk. I should have remained stone faced and left it at "There is nothing involuntary about my celibacy." 20/20 hindsight.

My wife called me that a few weeks ago while we were discussing some TikTok shit she found. She disagreed with my point of view, got hostile, told me to get out, then called me a worthless incel. My response was to laugh in her face like I was Heath Ledger's Joker and tell her "There is nothing involuntary about my celibacy. You're just worth enough of a shit for me to try harder to fuck you."

Serious question, what if you used to be an incel before the concept was coined? I ask because I was in that category about 11 years ago, and I'd like to help your project along

It does have it's own internal message function, which I use for initial communication, and as a backup when required. Emails and phone calls also happen when appropriate with the recruiters and other contacts who are posting job listings.

For me, I just go on every day or two and add to my network. So, I search for people I know. It started with friends and acquaintances, eventually moving on to people I was in college with who remembered me, fellow service members, and then work contacts. I make sure to keep my relevant work info to to date as needed, but the biggest thing is just keeping on top of your network of people. Part of my network is now the industry recruiters and headhunters who have contacted me. Plus, I'll see when…

I have one and do use it, especially since I out of the military a few years ago. While LinkedIn didn't help me find my current job post military, it is proving useful in connecting me to recruiters for my industry for potential future jobs if I get tired of the one I have. I've also found it useful as an alternate means of basic communication with my coworkers and manager (I'm an FSE for a major multi-national corporation that works on electrical systems and my coworkers in my region do work in…

So, after having read through this thread, as a "red pill" male, I have to say thank you. Mainly for not approaching this topic from a place of knee jerk apathy and hate, like many others seem to do, and also for your understanding that men have an actual reason for choosing the philosophy that they do. That being said, I don't totally agree with your initial premise for your thinking, because it seems as if you're still looking at it from a place of "all RP/MGTOW men hate women," and from my ex…

You, good sir, are a man with wisdom beyond your years on this earth. And you get the core concepts of this philosophy better than I'm sure many of us, myself included, do. Keep that good head on your shoulders and you'll go very far in this world.

As a red pill male, let me say this: whomever created that post in the first place is a moron. Personally, I've never thought going down on my partner was ever a bad, self-degrading, or submissive thing on my part. If she liked it, then I kept doing it because she liked it. And anyone who tries talking down to me for it, well, I don't talk to them anymore. Also, any man, regardless of if they think like me or not, who legitimately thinks that providing oral to their partner is bad, self-degradin…

It's only truth if sex were of any real importance to us who choose to go our own way.

It's not just opinion, the US Federal courts have found, multiple times, that police have NO RESPONSIBILITY in ensuring the safety of citizens. They are only to enforce laws and "stop crime." So, it is, in all actuality, up to the citizens to protect themselves and those around them who are physically or emotionally unable to do so (the elderly, children, sick, injured, or cowardly).
