I'm not sure you can use that (an illegal recording) as court evidence. I'd really like to know the opinion of someone knowledgeable. I.e. security cams in public/private places have the sign that they are recording, visible, so people are adverted they are recorded, that acts as a granting a permission (you can leave if you disagree).
