It's a lose/lose situation. I certainly wouldn't want a woman to have to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term because the father wants to raise it alone, and at the same time I wouldn't want a woman to have an abortion pushed on her because of the unwillingness of the father to step up. Ideally the only thing that can remedy any of it is more proper child support laws and the like. Honestly if the issue were even acknowledged outside of places like here that would be a step.
