That's a good one. I mean nothing can really stop them from just saying yes, but finding out is important. It's funny how men whine about women getting full custody most of the time but then you look at the statistics saying 90% (depending on the country) of men don't even request a shared custody so...

To me it almost doesn't matter what kind of women they sleep with - what matters is that there are women who are sleeping with and are probably attached to absolute garbage of people. I mean, that's not much of a surprise, but I wish more women took a closer look to what their "partners" do online.

It's also funny because the woman already is the bigger person. She's not the one who cheated and fucking broke her partner's trust. She can now get away with a fuckton of snooping and scheming and still remain the bigger person.

Yeah because it'll have minor chances of side effects, so they won't take it, just make their gfs/wives take bc with much higher risks of worse side effects.

Every single post I've ever seen that has the structure "he's a good kind supportive generous man (1-2 sentences of mostly adjectives) BUT (a long paragraph on precise situations that show how he's exactly none of the abovementioned adjectives)" is about a man who doesn't deserve the woman writing the post. And the OP in such posts is either brainwashed by him/society or is wildly trying to brainwash herself.

This is so true. I've always been told (by my mother no less) that dad and I looked down on her, that she was so dumb (she said that about HERSELF), that I was so clever, just like my dad. Meanwhile she had a way way better education, social life and career even when she was very young and they just met. It did rub off on me but only somewhat - I was very confused from very early on that in her daily life he acted as a couch king and never lifted a finger while she toiled around him and basicall…

I think it's the same as with green/red flags: if you see a red one, run. If you see a green one, keep vetting. Trust your intuition about having bad vibes about a guy but instant good vibes don't say much about his real character. For all you know, he may be love bombing you in a very subtle way.

If you don't respect your partner you won't listen to either kind of communication, because why bother. As simple as this.

Also, imagine men feeling uncomfortable with their partners watching those but having to pretend to be ok with those because they aren't some kind of prudes and even watching those together.

Where I live it's normal for parents to help their children buy an apartment (if they can). It's super common that parents buy one for their son (he needs to provide for his family!) and nothing for the daughter and expect her to take care of them. Ideally she should live at her husband's place. And then it's also fairly common that when the parents die, their place ALSO goes to the son.

A tampon company made a sticker set for a local messenger/social media. They made it free for women but it cost a tiny sum for men. Scrotes went on a fking crusade against that.

I've always wondered about those mental gymnastics. I always found it easy to block people. Once I do, I just forget they exist. Turns out, some of my friends think this is some kind of escapism and not normal? In the meantime they can waste their and my time and energy talking about these and those scrotes and it never entered their mind to block them as if even the worst of scrotes and attention from them is somehow valuable.

So true. I've never seen a decent man in any of the marriages I had the chance to observe for a long-ish period of time (meeting new couples at social gatherings says nothing about their real life ofc). My family still won't stop asking questions about when I'm getting married and every once in a while I remind them that not a single woman in the family has had a good husband. One was a violent alcoholic and pathologically jealous, another is a moody alcoholic, another is a cheater who does wtf …

In my country there are lots of prisoners of conscience and about 95% of all criminal cases end with a guilty verdict in court. That said, WHY TF WOULD ONE DATE SOMEONE IN PRISON. Few innocent ones or those who were in some way wrongfully convicted would not try dating while in prison. Also, belonging to that category still doesn't mean they're decent people and would treat a woman well. And those who start dating while in prison are predators seeking out to find (multiple) vulnerable women ment…

I haven't thought of a list but the first thing that came to mind was an increase in safety. Physical, financial, emotional. Except with male partners women are most at risk in those areas. So I can get how in theory a relationship could give me more safety, but a crap or even average relationship could take away ALL of it and put me in way, way more danger than my current level of as-safe-as-a-single-woman-can-be.

Absolutely true. When she said things like do you love yourself, do you think you're worthy of someone amazing, I had this thought that (at least in my culture) even if you're fucking stoked on yourself you're still only valued by whether you have a man or not, so by this logic you can't really believe you're awesome if you don't have a man. So you'll settle.

There's a group on another social media where the mods take screenshots of hate messages and send them to the family and school of the boys who write these things. It's usually 9-12 year old boys with that particular group though but I've seen another where the posts are just hateful comments + social media photos of men who posted them.

A friend of mine told me a similar story. I knew the guy she was dating and he's just incredibly non-boyfriend material, so I was shocked that girl (super well-educated and intelligent, kind, very beautiful conventionally, not just pretty, etc etc) even looked his way. They were walking in the woods (forgot why, still creepy) and he said something like "I've been off my meds for a while, I could kill and bury you right here and no one would ever know". The girl was still on and off with that guy…

I really don't understand the bad at texting excuse. What do they even think it means? Can't think of three words for a person you like, usually in response? I've got bad news for you buddy. Don't have time? Yeah sure you don't cause you're refreshing your ig feed with barely dressed women. This is the least amount of communication that's been required from men in so long, I think - no 10 pages long letters, no emails, no phone calls for hours, it's a fucking text.

While I know we're talking about how they treat women, they also do this in other areas of life. Applying for jobs they're not qualified for, giving speeches on topics they have no idea about, while so many women are raised to not even look at a job if they fail to meet a single tiny requirement, to keep quiet if they're not experts on the subjects (and even if they are, bc they might make men feel unconfident next to a knowledgeable woman). I completely agree and I feel the same way. My head is still filled with some romantic ideas from the media but somehow they never influenced my real dating life. The moment a guy started showing any sign of being controlling, manipulative, lazy etc, it was bye-bye (or more often they never even approached me, which is good). I've just read a post about how divorced women spend LESS time on household chores than married ones. And they sleep more and better. Kind of counterintuitive, except not. This post should be memorized by every young woman. The things that are the norm now are not normal, they are ugly and exploitative.

I hate the idea of living with a man. Most men I've known are like described in the post and the very few who are different are controlling neat freaks like in one of the comments, where it's (borderline?) abuse. That first one you mentioned reminds me of my grandma's story. My grandpa was pathologically jealous, among other things. Grandma was offered a job that was paid in foreign currency (incredible luck and sign of trust/professional recognition at that time and place), it could've improved not only their lives, but those of next generations. Grandpa went there with her to check the place, saw two or three attractive younger men and forbade grandma from going back even to collect her papers.

That's really great! This reminds of my grandma's relationship with her dad. Her mum was super strict and never spoiled them but her dad always gave her and her sisters what they wanted and was very kind. What check, what wallet? So many men don't even earn enough to provide for their families. They just keep going to work to avoid being at home and use it later as an excuse not to do chores. So many men give a tiny portion of their salaries to their wives - not for their expenses, but for family expenses. A tiny portion, like 'Why would a kid's shoes cost (insert the actual price)? I think if it's like an impulse thing, if there's no delay before the action after the thought occurs, then it's bad impulse control and, if targeted at someone, is a warning and can turn into violence. Once or twice I got so frustrated that I needed to let it out. I had the idea of throwing a phone across the room - not because I wanted to but because I've seen people do it out of frustration. I hate it when I see those terms used in esoteric communities (I see them there most and damn esoteric communities are so often patriarchal dumpsters). They're always used to describe men who blow up the woman's life and leave nothing of her former self, and yet they're described as tortured souls who can't live without that woman but can't be anything but dramatically abusive with her either. Kinda like Heathcliff.

On a side note, it's interesting how love and commitment marriages are considered traditional when they've only been the norm for, like, a century or so (varies in diff countries). Just to clarify, by "they" I meant women in Russia, so that I don't end up speaking for women from all kinds of cultural backgrounds haha. And Russian men try to get the best from both worlds. If we don't split, they take us for golddiggers (in a shitty cafe more often than not) and assume they are paying for the night as well as the food. If we split they act offended that we're not allowing them to act as rich generous providing men (and to decide how the night goes on). Very often women who d…

They (uh I should say "we" but I don't date much) don't do it for empowerment and weeding out the LVMs. Unfortunately.

I can't help thinking how many of those women were forced to marry, found themselves in abusive marriages, were exploited sexually and gave birth to one child after another, did a fuckton of work around the house and farm and didn't get any recognition for that, how many of them had no say about anything in their lives and didn't even have an education. And that's only those I know about, how much worse were the lives of those whose names I don't even know and never will? It's soul crushing.

Every now and then I do a thing where I write down 100+ things I want or want to do, and short and long term plans too. Some time ago I realized dating or finding a partner wasn't there, and there wasn't even much space for a man in there.

So are they banning only radfem and gendercritical subs or the actual violence-promoting women-hating subs too?

I have three versions. 1: it's evidence of some childhood trauma so bad that he just can't function like an adult where masturbation, baths, pregnancy and stuff are concerned. 2: he's a manipulative shit trying to literally put her on her knees to scrub his dried cum, to degrade her and show dominance. 3: he's a psychopath. There are so many little details in the more "innocent" things she says about him that point in that direction. Thing is, I believe he's at least two of these options combine…

I remember one of the first times I noticed this in real life. I was at work, discussing with my coworkers (similar age, all women) how uncomfortable we felt walking home late at night and how we all have been assaulted at least once in our lives. Thenone of the two guys present, who were generally well liked, started this bullshit 'Yeah but it totally happens to us too, once I was just waiting for a bus and this guy just comes out of nowhere and hits me'. We did ask him how the fuck it was rele…

Yeah, be that person for yourself. I'd rather rely on myself to do all this than have the best of men do it and then suddenly change into fuck knows what as they usually do. Even if you manage to find 10 men who do all this, most of them will be lovebombers and such.

I don't know if it's a thing in many countries but where I live dads literally stay at work until very late, not working but wasting time online, gaming, etc, just to avoid going home and to have a kind of moral high ground whining about how much they work and how they must be allowed to rest on weekends while women deal with the kids and do every single thing for the man to be comfortable. Same with business trips, they volunteer to go anywhere.

I mostly heard those stereotypes explained to me, not projected on me because I don't even have to open my mouth to show I'm neither "feminine" nor "submissive" (nor do I look like an Eastern European woman), but damn those ideas these men have about us are idiotic. Also, I feel bad that so often many Eastern European cultures are swept under the same rug like we're all Russian.

Yup. Just yesterday I saw a post on AITA about a guy who posted his gf's nudes on a site and exchanged them with friends. When the gf confronted him, he started manipulating her into feeling guilty bc she had invaded her privacy by going through his phone. I once tried getting such a group on a local social media site blocked but the support, well, supported the group, and this was fucking disgusting. What I hate even more than such depravity is people in positions of authority supporting them.

I really, really like it that in the last couple of years every time I see some online story about a couple with a significant age gap with an older man, people in the comments almost immediately bring it up as a red flag, as they should. In my experience, it didn't use to be like that only 3-5 years ago and it definitely doesn't happen as much where I live but I see a positive tendency here.

I did it once with a man and although he never did anything to make me feel unsafe and I never felt unsafe, I'd still never go for it again. (Very heavy TW!!!) A couple of years ago a young woman was killed by her roommate. They were friends, well, he thought he was being friendzoned but never mentioned anything to her. She thought of him as a friend and apparently trusted him enough to share an apartment. One day he raped her, murdered her and raped her again. He posted about that on social med…

Funny how green flags for men (which, I agree, are the bare minimum) are also something that society sets as the prerequisites for a woman. I mean you show lack of one of these and you're a witch and not worthy of being called a woman.

Never seen one, never dated one. All men I thought to be HVM who were in a relationship with someone (not me but my friends etc) eventually showed their colours. All of them. The best dads were sexist dipshits, the most professional ones dumped all chores on their wives, the most charismatic ones turned to be textbook abusers, those who showed their girlfriends how much they meant to them showed the same thing to a dozen other women, etc. An HVM needs to be most of the good things at once and yo…

It's often even creepier than that. 'I love my husband and he's very respectful and loves me and treats me well so he's not abusive or narcissistic or anything, he helps with the chores. It's just this little thing that he always tells me he's attracted to other women because I lost my beauty while giving birth to our two kids and gave up on myself unlike other women who can have kids and work out and keep the house spotless. He earns a lot but only gives us enough to buy second hand for kids an…

Seconding the version of a name change and a relatively recent one. Or maybe using a variation of the name everywhere online. It's really hard not to have your name mentioned anywhere online nowadays. Also makes me think of "You" series.

Absolutely true, especially where I live. Here men are like the ugliest on the continent and women are pressured into looking as 'objectifiable' as possible. The contrast is real. Personality-wise it's similar as well, of course.

Totally not because they're superficial sex-obsessed shit. This thing about treating attractive women better, though, it's that yeah they are possibly more polite and will volunteer to do things (to get a chance with you) but will also treat you like a brainless sex object. When you're not attractive it's not really that great either. Yes, you're invisible and not objectified to such an extent but still considered an inferior, and one without value at that bc for so many men the only value a wom…

I've seen men from my country post memes that women finally got what they wanted - their husbands glued to them and not hanging out with friends, cheating etc. Our culture is full of misogyny but more and more people come to realize that women never really wanted those LVMs by their side at home doing nothing while women slave away.

Wooow, he's ready to have kids and get married if it gets him his plaything and worshipper back, what a champ. I really hope this woman stays strong and cuts him off completely, these tiny trickles like still responding to texts mean his lies can get through.
