| 51 | My ex girlfriend cheated on me, then called the police. I'm not allowed in my own house.I think reusing a situation I’ve seen discussed in various places might explain the problem. While not all men are violent and potentially abusive, women in many cases try to adapt to avoid the potential situation. I think the tone might lend itself that way because many people on this sub might be in a similar situation. I think most people can agree the police should investigate all accusations unless there is explicit reason to assume the accuser is lying such as past false allegations. The problem is when people present false accusations and those in the social circle of the accused are also told the same false claim by the accuser.
