With that kind of mindset, probably in the most danger from herself. Will she decide for the kid that living in this world isn't worth it later? Is that a good assumption to make? No, of course not, but so is assuming that the men of this world will descend upon the kid in droves. Being afraid is one thing, I understand how it feels when your fears become irrational. It's a terrible thing... But usually, you don't have a fear-group that will reinforce the fear in circles...

I live in central europe, here the literal average is 181cm for men. Though I am 171cm or 5'7 in merica terms, lol. But I havent felt any discrimination here yet, fortunately.

The funny thing is, 50k is not... wealth. It's just that everyone else is very poor... Including me, by the way, I'm not trying to talk down, I just wanna tell some reality into what kind of shit capitalism has put us

It seems while women are more likely to want someone to take part in their problem emotionally, men are more likely to want someone to get rid of the problem for them or help them get rid of the problem. And I agree, as a man. If someone held a gun to my head, it is much more helpful for me if someone removed that person from me rather than tend to my feelings about it. Even if I could choose only one thing, I'd rather have the gun off my head and then figure out how to tend to my feelings mysel…

I think what you end up saying is a no brainer, obviously anyone would say such a thing. Any group would critizice something thats bad for them What distinction you might mean is not "as soon as A becomes bad for women", but rather "as soon as it becomes good for men too". Thats more petty. Or finding something thats bad for women, good for men obviously bad but supporting something thats good for women, bad for men in the same breath. I think the point is about trying to not work with the other…

With your school or the Schulamt, try to get some kind of accommodation. I dont know how it would look, thats up to what you think would help you as a practical measure... but if you have a long term issue like that, maybe volunteering to delay your graduating by a year but doing half the subject tests this, and half the next or something would work? This way you could literally sleep half a day, do the test well rested, use the next day for sleep preparation for the next, etc... This can potent…

I think many just dont like that in public discourse, if women are disadvantaged by something it gets shouted out loud, but if men are disadvantaged in any kind of exchange it's like "grow up ffs". i just dont like the double standard here. Ill take the women only cars if our culture develops that problem too (which it didnt). I am a big enough person to have no issue with it.. It's just hypocrisy that pisses me off. It never really affected me and it seems like being fine with yourself has an aura of sorts (of security). when i talk to women online and show my face they usually expect me to be tall and wide and such. Somehow they don't seem to care when they find out i am not... That's true, and lack of availability seems to also raise desirability for some reason. It's like the wanting what you can't get sort of thing. When I hear someone is taken my potential interest is just gone right away and I just dont try, but to be honest my interest also rises when someone isn't taken but someone else is likely trying to take her. I got that competitive vein too huh

That last part puts me to tears. My sister birthed three children and abandoned all of them. One is in a foster family that may or may not be adopting her, another is with the dad and a third one was adopted on birth. The first one, I had a little bit of contact to, but not much. That foster family is seemingly not letting her family make contact much. I didn't bother much anymore, to be honest. Apparently at least my dad, her grandpa, knows more about her. I couldn't have kids even if I wanted …

I wanna mention that medium isn't really a magazine, it's a sort of blogging / article engine that anyone can use. Now, if you are saying the moderation on it (in terms of content getting reported to their safety team and such) is harshly against men publishing their experiences and thoughts, then that would be a fair point. But the reason feminist articles get many more upvotes is more of a community thing, as you know about in-group effects that are being harvested here. I would go as far as s…

Sickle Cell Disease why is it always this and seen as a "disadvantage" of blacks, there are plenty conditions that affect different races differently. I have cystic fibrosis which is a overwhelmingly majorly a white people disease. You get born with it due to a regressive gene, if both of your parents have one each and exactly these two get chosen, congratulations, you have CF. Genetic, just like "sickle cell"

If people would just bother to ask men what they thought though, they'd paint a picture that's completely different from what people accuse them of. b-but if you ask men, they would just say the thing that gets them the most sex Another part of the "men are pigs" stereotype, "they will lie their way through to be more desirable" or something. I think both things exist, but considering today, men seem to face more limitations. At work, when it should be formal, men have the choice between a shirt with a jacket, dress pants, dress shoes and... nothing else. While women have the choice between a shirt, blouse (no jacket), dress pants, skirt, dress shoes, sandals, etc. And I have no idea how to solve the formal pants, and this will probably stump us for a while until we can finally just allow people to be more casual, or at least always …

I know this is meant as humor but if 50% of people are men, and those go missing, 83 of 100 police officers being men (im choosing an easier to calculate number), this would mean that the police force has 17% of members left for 50% of people. I wonder, ungendered now(!), if halving the population would really mean you need exactly half the police, or maybe even less? It does, but we also have that idea in western art, when women will have completely blank nethers and the simpsons did definitely show Bart's penis in the simpsons movie for a brief moment I personally live in europe where in places the idea of nudity by itself being lewd is not as present, so public beaches with allowed and practiced nudity still exist. And even in regular public pools, kids commonly let get "loose".

In the old days someone would do that because it means "he doesn't have his wife under control", now it's like that "ironic" roundabout of hurting him becuase his partner cheats and ironically saying he doesn't have his wife under control because "patriarchy" still forces him to "behave like that" or something In any case, it will always be laid out against men here, not the L of the wife if she is unfaithful

Im not sure if these series portraying it like that are actually part of the push (that is, someone wrote it to gotcha men) or if this is actually the cultural change that has already happened (a thought normalized already, not one grown from trying to support that push). Well our current system is doing this too, taking away people's labor by paying them scraps of what it is actually worth. It's just that the super rich decide this without really a possible intervention. You could argue that this happens under full agreement - but one could also say that many people don't really have a choice. "who causes those wars" https://www.politico.com/story/2019/01/02/how-women-took-over-the-military-industrial-complex-1049860 I'm pretty sure the military industrial complex indirectly causes wars, there's little proof for that of course but I do believe that lobby wants states to buy more weapons and loves new wars. The whole MGTOW is a group/movement/whatnot is imo a more multi-faceted issue between what people "want" MGTOW to be versus what MGTOW people want it to be and when thought to the end, it ultimately lays bare some of the problems in our society in general. Depending on who you ask, someone might want MGTOW to be a group so they can condemn it as a group, to them the thought that MGTOW is "a bunch of individuals who, in their own mind, looked at the pros and cons and thought it's better for their…

Which is in the end still a court, judges are still appointed by politicians but now they vote on cases, so having a majority of judges from your camp basically makes you own court decisions. To me it really feels like that we mostly have a class struggle, not a gender/sex or race struggle, but many are still getting distracted from the class struggle. Of course this is super convenient to the corporations and to the system

Replace women with any human and it's not even so far off. If there is some sexual interest between two people that creates the spark but there is not a common interest between them, it can create exactly this situation. The things she lists as topics are definitely ones that exhaust rather quickly and especially topics about "other" crushes, exes and whatnot aren't very fitting in a new relationship anyway. I've been wondering if this just means more men are sentenced again. Because it seems courts rather want to believe women, so if a man charges a woman in court but due to lack of proof or whatever else she is not found guilty, he judge can probably say that since it was found not to be true, he lied. First of all, I said the chance one of them is a deadbeat is the same. I am not trying to blame men more or less. People can be assnuts no matter the gender, and in terms of children - most fathers can do is run and not pay, but mothers can both run and not pay but also demonize and dispose of the father if they wish to - they're likely to find a judge who believes them and turn the father into an atm (or into jail if not paying, heh) I find you're actually trying to put more blame on mothers, b…

The women's preferences thing is actually kinda fucked up. Women are not supposed to change for a man, but literally a ton of men unwillingly change for all womenkkind's preferences. What would people say if I suggested to cut the inner lips of my daughter's labia shorter so she doesn't look like meat roast and is more attractive to men there? I definitely believe the trait of "being an abuser" is not related to your sex or gender. I hope we as people can get past that and fight abusers, not races/genders/whatever else. Yeah, maybe it might be more common among women or men, but as long as we don't have full data on every case of abuse that ever existed, we can't tell anyway. No, I am definitely not suggesting that. I am trying to explain why women are so crazily hurt by being fat (and being called that) but discard height considerations at the same time: Because the ego is much more important in this case. It's not about which is worse from an outside or inside perspective, it's the internal conflict I am trying to mention here that causes someone to get cognitive dissonance (and come to ridiculous conclusions)

I think it's not that simple. I would be more miffed if someone insulted my weight, for a simple reason: I could have changed it, but didn't. Insulting weight is a kick right in the ego. This is why they're rewriting it as "plus size", because then it's not your fault anymore. Honestly, both insults are bad, but I think they tickle different parts of our brains. I think getting your weight insulted is more of an internal conflict, because you didn't work to change it.

One could point out the irony that you could make fun of something one can't change but you can't make fun of something one could change. But in all actuality, nobody is that ideal. Thinking about it, I would be less miffed about someone insulting my height (I have no choice but to own it) than if someone said I'm fat. No, he didn't do that, but I wasn't really thinking about the video when I wrote that. I'm for recognizing violence against men, but I think it's a problem too when retaliations generally become too strong. There should be a healthy in between, where inciting violence on someone has to have the respect that you might be getting just as much or more back, no matter who you are, and thus you have to have the respect to not punch anyone for the good reasons of "he's a man so it's fine"

Heh, well, I go under the whole 6' meme by just being 5'6'', maybe that's part of it. The only positive body compliments I got is from bros, like that I got nice legs. I won't ever define myself by compliments or a lack thereof though. I am sorry for the kind of objectification you have to go through. That casual sexual assault (as it would be gender reversed) is nothing anyone should have to go through.

I didnt want to call out anything you said as wrong, I just wanted to extend upon your thoughts. Also it's no surprise men turn to "less censored" places, but conveniently those less censored places are already riddled with the bad "extreme right" and "covid denier" etc taint. Yeah you're basically interrupting, that's true. But there's also no platform for the male issues either, so there's a very convenient system of keeping male issues quiet: When "generic" issues are brought up, imply they were "female issues" and shoo male issues out When male issues are brought up, intersect with "but look at these much worse female issues, why are you so sexist to only mention the much less occuring men's issues" or variants of casual "if you got hit, what did you do to deserve…

I read the article and it seems like the boy was fine UNTIL they moved in with the girlfriend. I feel like if the father opened up, they would find something in the dynamic between the two. Maybe the girlfriend was gaslighting the dad in some way or another. It would be sad if he got a worse punishment than her. It makes it worse because he's the actual dad, but she did the murder.

Yeah. Here where I live claiming crazy it not a good idea because you just go into a mental institute instead, and that will take LONGER than prison. You also have less freedoms there. You're locked up supervised in a room, have to listen to shrinks all the time, can't get out, etc... As opposed to be locked up, mostly unsupervised at least (you have at least some privacy in prison when you are good to your supervisors, etc), being able to work for money, have a social life, not being literally …

I've also seen it mostly online. I feel like another reason for this is that literally saying out loud that you hate something instead of just not liking it is that, in-person, it just doesnt sound good. But I've certainly had people say it too and I had the chance to dig into it sometime: they didn't actually "hate" <thing>, they just didnt like it. I do wonder what the reason for it is. Ally or enemy. Love or hate. I find many young people are being this black&white now too. More than I guess 20 years ago. Don't like something? HATE it. Everything is now a deal breaker. Games and movies rated 7/10 and down are literal garbage. Everyone and everything has got to be divisive.

This is the only weakness of the "2X" subreddits imo, they turn into an echo chamber because it's literally turning into WomenWritingMen. The explanations here make a lot of sense, the movie stereotype of "group of men start randomly groping and assaulting women in public" is such shit

Well, you explained it yourself already. It has not that much to do with "the woke", but when 50% of the population is working together to promote each other, and the other 50% of the population is fighting for themselves, you can pretty much see who gets singled out and alienated and who will win the discourse

I think it's not only on men, this is a self reinforcing loop. I think both men and women started it. It's not only men being incredibly thirsty, the thirst has to come from somewhere, too.

It feels like we might reach critical victimhood at some point, where pretty much everyone is underprivileged in some way. In that case you could argue the focus on the area though, even if it was "censored", so to me it isn't completely equivalent. Wait, connecting that with the studies cited by others here, that lesbian couples have the highest rate of domestic violence... I have read a study from England where they say men are the most likely victims of violence on the road, while also being the most perpretrators. So, wait, women are more likely to be violent to their own partners, while men are more likely to be violent to other men on the streets... I would make an obvious connection here, but I... guess that would be too polemic.

Which is bullshit and it's a way states try to tune the unemployment stats to be as low as possible. Here, even sick days (while unemployed!) are counted as "not being available to work", thus "not unemployed". Even single days, like when someone is calling in sick to the unemployment agency when they have an appointment. If 365 man-days in a year are spent sick, it's one less person being "unemployed".

Prosecute her for every year after like 16 or so she kept the lie alive. Make her do community service at the very least. Something that actually punishes her, not just a full acquittal. Use a full psychological review to see from about when she fully knew how bad this kind of lie was, for example.

I mean honestly, if Venmo had some sort of additional authentication layer this (if it happened) wouldn't have been ABLE to happen. Hell, $2000!? That's beyond my daily limit at my bank here in Europe (which I am able to override with extra authentication) but damn.

But that's also kind of what many feminists don't want, the positive discrimination. And I think that's an okay point to have. Remove both kinds of discrimination. But then the new family seems to take in only the positive discrimination and this is where it's kind of sour... Also when you start to apply that mindset to science too and assume that studies that come to different results are just "discriminating against you"... All bets are really off

This kind of shows that generally, we have collectively internalized a pretty bad bias that prefers women over men. I am not good at reading scientific text and deciphering it's meaning, but this is the most simple statement that I got out of it. I don't want to be a liar, so if I simply misunderstood what the paper says, please be reasonable with me.

Or this issue is more visible nowadays and it is much easier to find people when they are at the tip of your fingers with modern smartphones. Thank you for analyzing this. I am not really that good at scientific working or scientific reading to find these footnotes that show that bias. Also the bias really starts out when you have 75% of mothers starting out with the children: It shows how easy and "god given" it is wor the mothers to be able to take away the children and that it basically needs to go into court for anything to even start to happen. Huh? Ever feel like you see a child and you feel the need to protect it? The same instinct exists for women, but we have largely destroyed it by now. It's not timely anymore. It's all for the instinct of breeding, you need your woman to breed, so you need to help her survive. You need your kids to continue your legacy, so you help them survive. As the stronger built gender you have the means to do that, so you do. It's evolution. I think some men who are completely disconnected from reality and …

Okay, so in my country the percentage is not additive, you can't add multiple different conditions and get to a higher percentage. It's for the strongest sickness, and if other sicknesses actually make it worse in a different way, it actually adds up a bit. Here they have a huge law with tables on what kind of bodily malfunctions are considered what in the percentage. What you say makes total sense, the worst that can happen for me is embarassment... Next time I am on public transport and I need a bit of sitting, I will try this. The study was pretty interesting. People felt really bad about asking when they didn't really need it. To be fair, I do have the same issue in part. I feel bad but never bad enough to inconvenience anyone else. I'm the kind to rather walk around in pain than stop and sit down if anyone else is involved.
/r/PussyPassDenied24/09/19 08:54 PM

I have a big problem with actually "getting" that. I know rationally it makes sense but I still have a hard time feeling anything but that people would judge me for asking
/r/PussyPassDenied24/09/19 08:36 PM

You're giving me confidence, I will try to make this more apparent to myself.. I have a hard time believing that the people around me are normal people like you and me, I don't know what it is but it makes me a little afraid of asking something of others because they might be mad at me or something. I know rationally that this makes no sense, but it's still there.

/r/PussyPassDenied24/09/19 08:15 PM

I guess I have some amount of social anxiety to not even see that side. That others who are inclined to call me out for faking would also have the risk of branding themselves as jerks. I just think that people could put a "roadblock" on me and that would be it.
/r/PussyPassDenied24/09/19 08:14 PM

That's very nice of you. Yeah, it does feel like people are increasingly thinking about themselves only. I sometimes even think I would get laughed at for asking for a seat... /r/PussyPassDenied24/09/19 08:09 PM
5

Well, I DO have a disability card in my country, so there's that, but I don't know how I'd feel showing that around Your suggestions make sense though. I usually have no trouble just standing around, but there are times I would actually need to sit down to recover, like if I took a march to the bus so I could reach it.

Smear pig blood on their car and leave a pig head on the front?

A girl should go up to the guy and rape-ride his ass and say "i can't rape you anyway so it was sex". Sometimes the only way these people will learn is by experiencing it, I know it sounds savage as fuck. There was this one politician, I don't remember who who was pro-waterboarding. Someone dared him (I think) to get waterboarded, he said yes, it's harmless. They waterboarded him for 5 seconds and he canceled. Suddenly he was anti-waterboarding... ehehe

A law degree is the ultimate kool-aid for those people. Because now they can be a bitch AND try to back it up with legalese!

And it worked really well, too. I was the younger boy with a 7 year older sister and here I made it work the other way. I take responsibility for my actions now though... Or wait, I just don't do things like hitting people.

Well actually then, more like the gender neutral products without the flashy advertisement

So true. Me and my girlfriend compared stuff sometimes and the female beauty products are such a ripoff. The male equivalents of these products (where applicable) do the same thing and are cheaper.

Maybe not getting indecent exposure or property damage on her head, too. That would definitely be two more crimes that she committed.

He should slit her throat a little when she approaches him... For good old time's sake. Just kidding. I don't condone violence, I was just in for a joke

So they couldn't bring her in anymore because of ne bis in idem?

She has 5 children, that might not be so easy to just throw her in jail. Well, a man would have his kid taken away instantly anyway, so what's stopping them?

In Germany it wouldn't even matter because you can consent from 14... Even the other way around. My sister had a 40 year old boyfriend when she was 15. When my mom found out she called the Police. Police told my mom they can't do anything... She threatened him anyway and he let up

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
