I think it can seem like women only fall for a certain type of men depending on what women your interest is on. I know a bunch of really superficial women that fall for rather macho superficial dumb guys. I also know sensitive women looking for sensitive men. Thank god in most societys both man and women are not a monolith. The most weird one to me are the smart solid looking educated women that focus mostly on looks for their male partner. But i feel sorry for those women as they end up in rela…

So my gf and female friends are similar to me in terms of intellect and education. About the opposites it gets complicated, because it has to do with how i perceive myself. What i mean with opposite is a women that complements me. I actually love that my gf and female friends dont share my political beliefs because i think my political beliefs are mean and pessimistic as fuck. It just gives me perspective to not take myself to seriously. I have a tendency of spiraling into negative thoughts, and…

i would agree with one exception. There are sometimes women that need tons of time to be convinced that you mean it serious. Those women might appear like they are not into you but in reality they are busy with their own fears, they still might be very into you. Those require extra work but they are perfect for long term relationships. The longer a women needs to trust you the more loyal she will likely be in the relationship.

your not wrong. All the things you lists are more or less required for most young women today. But you dont need 100% on everything. The most important parts are smart social awareness and confidence i think that might be the charm and charisma on your list.

it depends. Its smart to befriend women, but not all women. Befriend women that you would like if they had a dick and no boobs. Women are not a monolith. Some women are cool other suck ass and it depends on you what type of character a women needs to have for you 2 to have a good time, be it as friends, partners or whatever. I figured out later in life that i needed a women to be opposite to me. Both as partners and friends.

yeah your right. Most people on reddit just look on others confirming their already set opinions, i think thats why reddit is overrated.

It really depends on how the individual views sex. To me sex is like pizza, even if its a bad pizza its still pizza. I had sex with a bunch of chill normal women and one crazy bpd women. It was all more or less the same except with the crazy bpd women, she performed her ass of, to her sex was like a life or death situation that would determine all of her self worth. Its sad when you think to deeply about it but the sex was sooooooooo different. She was the only one that could make me cum by me b…

I believe you. I would really like to know why that is. Is it simple evolution that women were never required to orgasm for reproduction while for men it is required? That would be evolution being a bitch to women.

Your right there needs to be a baseline of a positive reaction from your body to theirs. It doesn't need to be much of a positive reaction if you like the person a lot. But you can't force it, if there is 0 sexual chemistry. For most people it is a minority they are unable to build up any sexual feelings towards. I think this is something very present on the internet and much less so offline. When you got outside there are tons of average people, and average people have a lot of sex.

Well the freudian idea is that our parents influence our subconscious heavily. I think most people pick partners that have qualities their parents have. If you view your self as a solely sex craving person when picking a potential partner, you might not have a good grip on your subconscious. We are more emotional and sensitive than we are aware. Especially when we are lusting, we have trouble grasping our underlying feelings.

There is 2 good non narcissist reasons that come to my mind why physicality could be so important to you. You have body image issue or self esteem issues yourself. By presenting with a "hot" guy you feel able to overcome these. Your requirements for physical attraction is not that high and what you deem hot is actually reasonable and average. Also maybe you need to experience intimacy with a hot guy who has nothing interesting to say. It can be a revelation. I had the cute, pretty faced girl wit…

I think that means that you don't like them. Psychology says that if we do truely like someone we will have attraction for them, we will forgive a few physical features that would repulse us on the body of a neutral/negatively viewed person. Not everything can be forgiven obviously. My gf sometimes has 2 hairs under her chin. It repulsed me on other women in the past. With her i can stop focusing on that because she is the best person i know.

Yep, also it would be depressing as shit, typically in a dialogue we don´t confirm ones pessimism. Except if there is a moral reason to do so.

Hey first time poster here. The reality is both is true. There's (nearly) always some things that you can do, no matter how fucked up you are or how bad your environment is, to getting closer to be intimate with other people. On the other hand yes the access to sex and intimate relationships varies vastly depending on the context. I am of the believe that we humans are more dependent than free. One thing i learned is that i have more opportunities the less i feel/believe the dependency to my env…
