Once you succeed... then what? disband? if you want to continue, you have to move those goal posts or find new ones. My daughter is a Senior Software Engineer at a Fortune 500 company -- makes excellent pay & benefits -- for the last 13 years. She definitely earns as much as any man there. HOWEVER... she's almost the only female Software Engineer there, despite the company's very aggressive recruitment. Though most of this has been illegal for 40 years... there are still examples of industries and job categories that are very unfriendly to women. On the other hand... in high pay jobs that are open to both sexes... look at what has happened to DOCTORS and LAWYERS. Both professions are now 60%+ female. In the old days (it's rarer today)... the want ads used to say "Help Wanted Male" and "Help Wanted Female". Men used to get more money for THE EXACT SAME JOB (and no, most men are not oil riggers) even with identical hours and duties, on the grounds that "a man has to support a family but women only work for spending money". Not that they preached feminism, but they told of the misery of not having a job or their own money, and being entirely dependent on a man. Funny, it is an Australian study (population 26 million) and is used to prove this is true in the USA (population 340 million). I also have to LOL myself into knots when she says "Jesus was a brown skinned immigrant"... errrr. Jesus lived in Judea, or Israel -- the Jewish homeland. He wasn't an immigrant AT ALL.
