You’re right about the “no” part but way off with the “yes” response. No one would say that.

Interesting. Would you say that’s the case for the average man and most men, but a different standard exists for highly attractive men 40+ ?

You can’t change your shoulder bones but if you’ve ever seen a skinny to buff progress pic you would know shoulder to hip ratio can be substantially increased. Yes, some are doomed framelets but not all.

Great analogy. The problem with both claims do seem to mirror each other.

Really weak write-up. At least represent the other side of the argument decently. You flatly state there are no costs, no side effects to PMO and also no benefits to NoFap. Clearly many, many people disagree with this premise. I’m not sure you understand why, based on this post.

Men and women aren’t interchangeable. You can call a guy a slut - fair enough. But there’s a reason it doesn’t resonate the same way. The demand for pussy and the supply of horny men in the sexual marketplace is well understood. No one is impressed with a slut. It’s like bragging about feeding a steak to your dog. The steak must merely exist in the presence of the dog to be consumed. Whereas the fuckboy is like a salesman who is successfully selling a product to people who don’t really need it. …

Do you honestly believe I protect my family and loved ones because I think about it? Terrible question and no. Or because I have pride? Yes, this is a better question. Love is not explanatory in the way you seem to think. Love is your best verbal approximation of feelings you have that you don’t understand on a more basic psychological level. Nothing is more natural than love and protectiveness of one’s family. The most basic in-group unit. The reason you don’t love your neighbor’s little sister…

People protect their loved ones because they like it? Brilliant insight. Why do they like it? Because it feels like the right thing to do. Why does it feel like the right thing to do? That’s the question you should be answering. You said nothing in your post except confess that you have never reflected on this topic. Consider the fact you don’t actually know what motivates your behavior and you conflate the feeling of knowing with knowledge itself.

How is this in disagreement with the original post? It has nothing to do with ownership. Its caveman tribal ape shit. Your previous paragraph does not support the first claim at all. Also, tribal psychology has nothing to do with possessiveness? Possessiveness and feelings of ownership reflect social identity construction (under which a man’s sense of honor would certainly fall). I don’t feel like you actually disagree with the post. You either didn’t understand it and were surprised by the way …

trying to split [social analysis] into groups is useless and wrong This is silly. If you break a phenomena down into groups and find a disparate effect then that already proves its utility. Your point makes an assumption on faith: men and women are the same. Therefore, there is no use examining the marginal effects of a given variable on men vs women. Wrong. It matters that young girls are committing suicide at an increasingly higher rate than young boys. It matters that young men have no sexual…

Although I resent much of Reddit's soy culture, Rules 1 and 2 illustrate exactly this theory. Somehow, in different contexts, these ideas are widely accepted.

I'm 6'2" and 155 pounds so I'm pretty thin. I mention it because one of the causes of low testosterone is obesity which is certainly not the case here. These levels are also after going to the gym for 3 months (I've been trying to bulk) so no, I'm not sedentary.

I've been interested in this recently. I'm 20 years old and have had barely any sex drive the past 6 months. Also dealing with depression-like symptoms that has been making it really difficult to internalize RP. My total test was 344ng/dl and free was 67pg/ml. What do I do?

Thank you for the excellent response. I've actually eliminated saying 'sorry' after swallowing the pill. It's an excellent change and makes me feel a lot more in control. I was one of those guys though.

Part of the problem is that the analogy is somewhat dubious. I'm just saying that women are effectively the ones with cheats if we're comparing dating to an FPS game. By and large, they are the ones that are sought after and men are the ones that seek them. The burden of game and skill is on us moreso than it is on them. I don't think we disagree, we're just interpreting OP's analogy differently.

I agree and I'm glad you posted it. My father hit me as a kid as punishment and I remember telling myself even then for years that I would never ever do that to my own kid when I had one. I never "thanked him later" or felt like it helped me learn a lesson. I resented him for it and took me years to get over the psychological repercussions. A lot of parents just don't remember what it is to be a kid. We remember the innocence but we forget the fear. We remember the joy but we forget the pain. An…

This subreddit has went from a discussion of sexual strategy to whining and complaining about women. Bullshit. This place is still a haven for the open discussion and learning of sexual strategy. There is no place like this on the internet. Yes, there's more shitposting and whining but is it even remotely reasonable to expect discussion to remain as pure and centered at 63,000+ subscribers as it was at 100? Considering the extent to which this sub has grown (and continues to grow), it is impress…

Obviously. But he's not equating a false rape accusation with the actions of a serial killer. He's making the point that in no other area of the law could an individual commit a malicious crime and get off scot-free.

If you're acne is severe and you've tried the usual bullshit like washing your face, having a skincare regimen - just get on accutane. I tried every fucking product for my acne and they didn't do shit. 5 months on accutane - boom, clear skin.
