You're right. Lost her attention when I was looking for words and used the group as an excuse to not maintain strong contact, lesson learned ! Realised that the smoke part could feel a bit needy just after I did it. Tried to turn that around, she didn't seem to mind and we had a great chat. Getting along with her friends could have been a solution though, split second decisions are not always the best ones. Thanks for the feedback !
