That's a rather childish view. Deciding that others are bad people simply for choosing a different path to you.

I downvoted out of principle. The mentality of "if I suffer, everyone else should have to as well" benefits no one, it's just destructive.

There's no point in causing suffering just for the sake of being fair. With this mentality, everyone loses.

"It should be noted, however, that the makers of SkinMedica insist no actual human tissue is included in their final product. They use only the growth hormones derived from foreskin tissue. While it is estimated that a single male foreskin can retail for around $100,000—SkinMedica says they have been cultivating their product from the same willfully donated slab of foreskin for fifteen years. This explains why their foreskin facial creams sell for $150 an ounce." That's their statement on the is…

I'm sorry but that looks like the world's least credible source. I would trust Fox News more than that site. That said, it's not the only one. I remain sceptical, as a story like that would generate SO MANY clicks, so if it were true I don't quite understand why most major news networks aren't picking up on it.

As opposed to the not-traumatic-at-all rape from slightly more attractive people.

In Germany it's 14. Wouldn't be surprised if it's lower somewhere else.

It's raised to 18 when one party is in a position of trust https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2003/42/part/1/crossheading/abuse-of-position-of-trust

The "position of trust" law raises that to 18. Source: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2003/42/part/1/crossheading/abuse-of-position-of-trust It's not statutory rape, but it is statutory sexual assault which has the same maximum penalty.

But those traditions and values are bullshit and have no place in today's society, just like the "traditions and values" which forced women to stay at home and never pursue a career years ago.

A moral victory will usually result in a victory in the long term. Look at MLK, Nelson Mandela and Gandhi. They were all losing massively, one was even locked up in prison for 27 years. But because they held the moral high ground, people eventually came to sympathise with them.

What? No one is open to criticism based on race and gender. Unless you're racist or sexist.

We make fun of the radical feminists with satire, not of all of feminism. Just like sane people make fun of radical meninists (unfortunately r/feminism does not fall under the definition of sane as it stands). And we also have serious discussions about men's rights but that's only a small part of why I'm here.

Can confirm that I've been banned from r/offmychest despite never posting there. I commented once on a subreddit about fascism, in which I asked a question to a fascist and in no way advocated for fascism (I even said to the people looking through my post history that I'm not a fascist). But yeah, that's probably what set it off.
