Genuine connection and/or meaningful relationships have to be built on a common interest... like a fitness group, church, or somewhere you can build familiarity first with someone. Good luck to you, because what you're after very few find in their lives.

How has your experience been? I've had a few pleasant experiences with small talk, and nothing intimate. Online dating is pretty hopeless for me too 😝

Yes! Also, know that this tip comes from a guy who understands the guy's perspective; so I also encourage you to find the woman's perspective too. Some skills I recommend to all heterosexual women are: Practice Saying "No" to anything that isn't a "Fuck Yes!" Communicate your needs/wants effectively, so that your partner can respect you. Men can't read minds. You have to tell them. The good guys will respect you for this. (This tip goes both ways in building relationships)

Men are in general less selective with women's physical appearance than women are with men's physical traits. So even if you are moderately attractive, I promise the guys around you are interested. If you want to encourage men to reach out to you, I recommend using body language that makes men feel welcome and comfortable. Simply making eye contact and a kind smile is enough to make most men feel welcome. Another approach is to initiate conversation yourself, and that's what this subreddit discu…

The reasons are complex, but women who crave toxicity developed their models of love and affection from someone they once knew, or an ideal they believe in. It's sad, but also empowering to remember that everyone is free to define love and affection in their own special ways.

I'm in the same situation with you, and now I'll compete with you to find an interested woman first. 👍👍 Accept my challenge bro

I'm not here here to judge, but you don't write like you're ready to keep playing the game. You write like you're frustrated to the point of giving up playing. If I'm right, Consider taking a break and resolving this frustration in a constructive way to improve yourself somehow. If you ever figure out how to lower the difficulty of playing, let me know too; because it ain't happening in my experience.

Not a lot of thought went into it, but I write this way at work to sound like I'm respectful of people's preferences; when in reality I don't care too much to argue about it.

Allow me to answer. The first thing is to check my nerves. Hopefully I'll get rejected enough times to figure this one out. I'm actually an authentic person who likes attention, and can drive a playful conversation once I can control myself. Building connection should come smoothly if the emotional tone is light and playful. Today's weather we have a little rain, and I could have said a lame joke like, "Hey, if it rains hard enough people might think I actually exercised today." =D

Yeah, who knows if they were honest, but I respect them to reject me. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, ur right. I was too nervous to give them that courtesy. Thanks for the feedback. Feels embarrassed... It was at our apartment gym with one of my neighbors. I'm a gym regular, but saw them for the first time. If I see them again, they might feel nervous and try to avoid me. A little embarrassed that I could become someone to avoid to them, but feeling like I'm overthinking it too. If I see them again, I'll nod at them and friendly smirk.
