....It's still a factor of in and out, even if other factors determine the ratio of in/out required. There are NO. MEDICAL. CONDITIONS. that make the human body automatically become obese.

You know what's not affected by genetics? How many calories go in in the first place.

contributing factors. They make you get fat faster, but getting fat is still a result of not dieting or exercising properly. There are no medical conditions that make people obese.

no weight gain is a factor of calories in, calories out if in > out, you gain weight there is no genetic condition that magically makes this stop working

here's a protip for any time anyone makes any claim even a little similar to this: NO ONE ON THE PLANET is pre-disposed to being fat. Medical conditions only account for maybe an extra 20 pounds.

Alright, fuck this. I thought this was a subreddit of reasonable people. You guys are just like the people on tumblr who discount all mens issues, just repackaged differently. Blindness and Deafness are fucking tangible issues to the people who have them. Their lives are severely difficult as a result of these problems and humans are intelligent enough to comprehend that they would not be if they were able to see or hear. I cannot. Comprhend. A difference. Between being circumsized and hypotheti…

You are clearly distressed by this topic, so there must be something wrong What?! If I repeatedly insisted something was wrong with you for something you cannot change that does not affect your life at all would you or would you not start to get a little pissed? You're comparing being circumsized to being BLIND now? Fuck you assholes!

Yes. YOU can tell teh difference. Because you have two frames of fucking reference, you moron. Everyone else can't. I am circumsized. I am fine. There is nothing wrong with me. I have no idea how I feel differently compared to someone who is not curcimsized and it is inconsequential to me. It has no meaning. There is no possible frame of reference for me to have that makes me feel any differently. I do not haev a clue what the difference is. I can not, and I never will, and so it does not. Fucki…

If you can't tell the difference, there is no difference. If you literally cannot even begin to comprehend the difference, there is no difference.

This topic is about routine infant circumcision. And this comment chain inside this topic is about how this issue is "the largest" mens rights issue there is, which is a claim I am calling into question. It's called a conversation.

And his comment says that one is far more important than the other, which is absurd. Someone responded saying we're discussing facts here, and I am just not understanding. What facts are we talking about here? Am I not discussing facts when I say 99.99999999% of circumsized men do not consider themselves victims of a human rights violation? Am I not discussing facts when I say you can be against multiple things at once? Am I not discussing facts when I say it's more important to take care of peo…

What if I told you that you can fight for two things at once? Why is it either/or with you? Get pissy about circimcision, go right ahead, but to put circumsized people in a little box labeled "HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION VICTIMS" and people who are SUFFERING IN REAL TIME FROM INJUSTICES THAT AFFECT THE COURSE OF THEIR ENTIRE LIVES FROM THIS MOMENT OUT AT THE HANDS OF AN INJUST COURT SYSTEM in another box labeled "secondary concerns" and put it farther back in the closet is ABSURD.

i have no opinions one way or the other on whatever that is, as I don't know what it is. I do know that as someone who is circumsized and not suffering from it, I am not fond of being put in a category of "human rights violation victim whose plight is more serious than people with actual problems".

I think a violent majority of circumsized men would say their life is no different for having been circumsized. To declare it is a "legitimate human rights violation and the most pressing men's rights issue" is a little silly. Is whether or not hundreds of thousands of people continue to be circumsized on top of the billions that already have been in Earth's history really more important than adults who have had their entire lives literally stolen away by inadequate legal rights and protections …

I'm not nor have I ever convinced myself of anything. Normal is relative. There is nothing wrong with me, and as a gay man, I can say with complete sincerity that I very much prefer a circumsized dick to an uncircumsized one. Saying that if you feel otherwise means you're "delusional about being mutilated and trying to convince yourself there's nothing wrong" is obscenely disrespectful. I legitimately do not care one god damn iota that I was circumsized.

The breakdown of options: X Father Wants Child Father Does Not Want Child Father is Ambivalent Mother Wants Child: Mother has child Mother has child Mother has child Mother Doesn't Want Child: Mother doesn't have Mother doesn't have Mother doesn't have Mother is Ambivalent: Mother decides later Mother decides later Mother decides later Such a wide breadth of choices for men! But just in case that's too complicated for some, I simplified it even further. X Father's "Choice" Mother's Choice Mother…

It seems odd to me that men bear so much responsibility with children that they can be doomed to 18 years minimum of garnished wages for a child they never wanted and tried to avoid, but women are so completely innocent in childbirth that they often don't even have a clue who the father is.

Does this not read to anyone else as "If you accidentally have a kid, deal with it, and you should prepare in advance for that to happen"? Doesn't that sound...uh...a little ridiculous? Women have means of avoiding or caring for an unintended child, men do not, and your solution is "be an adult and accept consequences for your actions"? Your accidental actions with completely one-sided consequences? Obviously /r/legaladvice isn't a platform for changing the law, but it sure as hell seems like an…

just want to note that personally I think the hypocrisy should be directed at "its not okay to make sexualized articles about women like this one about men" and not "we shouldn't make articles like this about men" I think pro-sexualization is a better idea than no sexualization at all. We should be free to make lewd comments about everybody, to outfit high-level MMO characters of all sexes into skimpy armor, and to make tumblr gifsets of all sexes being borderline homoerotic

So you don't care at all that it's unfair, because both issues involved breaking the law? So you don't care at all that the girl involved with the older man lied about her age to him, and he had no reason to suspect she was lying, and had no knowledge of her age? Are you 11 years old?

This is what's scary about the legal system. A jury of your peers could be a little box full of absolute morons. Your judge could be a complete dipshit, too. Luck of the draw. I don't have a solution. I don't have an alternative. I am just identifying serious problems.

I think my favorite part of this sidewalk is they wait in the middle. They could wait at the start of the sidewalk and prevent people from even getting on it, but that doesn't punish them enough and it's not as funny.
