I will definitely head out the minute I see a red flag. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any with this particular group. Other commenters seem positive about Mayeda, so I'm hopeful.

Thank you! This is the kind of reassurance I was hoping for. I did look at his YouTube a bit and it mostly seem like fairly solid advice. But I know more extreme ideas are often reserved for members-only videos. This guy in particular seems to be taking away some healthy lessons, doing some self-reflection and hard work. Seems to be in a pretty solid place. I respect that.

Seriously thank you for that perspective! Glad to hear you have a positive view of Mayeda. Yes, I absolutely appreciate his honesty about it. He talks about it mainly as a self help / support group - helps him set goals and such. So I was a little surprised when I googled and much of it was around dating.
