My 8 year old son was sitting near me and asked what I was watching, so I played it for him. All he had to say was "that's an example of a bad father." That shows me that A) This LVM behavior is LEARNED. And B) I'm raising a future king, and I'm so proud of him <3

Yes!! My HVF sister sent me the handbook last week after a particularly bad camping trip with the family. It certainly was like a switch flipping! Monday, I left my emotionally abusive and controlling husband. My support group is overjoyed that I’ve finally realized my worth. I’m finally feeling like myself again and I’m looking forward to the future, where before I was just trying to make it through each day. So thankful to have found this sub and the amazing women here.
