nope the data is collected via the police, Police and prosecutors sometimes flag cases as “unfounded” or track formal retractions/recantations. by law they have to report a false crime. Researchers go back through large batches of closed cases and re-examine them using consistent criteria to identify which ones were likely false. This is labor intensive but more controlled. Organizations like the Innocence Project track cases where convictions were overturned. Some of those involve false accusat…

good news is that it’s way more likely that a crime doesn’t get reported at all. so you should worry about a crime not getting reported over a crime that didn’t happen getting reported. 4 in 5 male victims and 5 in 6 female victims of sexual assault do not report the incident to authorities. 60% of family violence is reported to police, with no statistically significant difference in reporting rates between men and women in some specific studies.

where is the world has culture just changed? UM I LITERALLY SAID BALTIMORE AND CHICAGO ARE U STUPID. AM I TALKING TO A BABY?? “you are bring up prevention strategies towards men what would those be?” DID U NOT EVEN READ MY TEXT ABOVE. mental health and community outreach HAS PROVABLY REDUCED CRIME AND SAVED LIVES IN EVERY CITY THAT HAS TRIED IT BY 30-50%. wtf are u even talking about at this point. gentrification won’t solve anything, addressing mens issues will. saying ‘you could get crime down…

it actually does work to provide mental health services to at risk individuals who may commit crime and prevent it before it happens, also you didn’t address how we would remove the double standards without infantilizing men like we do with women and children. you can’t just say we should do something and provide no explanation.

i literally answered every single one of these questions in my post above did u even read it?

well the thing is, if men weren’t doing as much crime it would directly decrease the amount of crime, thus directly protecting men from crime. this is the only way to prevent crime from happening. you can treat victims of crime better all you want but the ppl doing the crime will still be making and producing more victims. you can tell men to be carful like women are, but most likely they will not listen. there’s an inherent safeness most men feel when they leave the house that a woman doesn’t b…

You say that ignoring men’s issues is what is the cause for this, but you don’t really explain, are you saying men and now (recently 1960s) women are ignoring men’s issues? have men been ignoring their own issues for centuries? i’m also saying use their criminality as an excuse to tackle the issues they face, not the other way around as you suggested above. i’m not saying there isn’t nuance to why men commit the majority of crimes, there’s all types of reasons obviously. i also believe we should…

but why is anti immigration, racism, and transphobia related to misandry ? and would homophobic homicides by men be a product of the patriarchy? bc men think men who present as women are disgusting but then they turn around and watch female on female porn?

by definition Feminism is the belief in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes. so you have issues with that obviously? is your opinion that equality does not help men ? please back up your statements that new wave feminism is a problem.

we were, i was asking is it more acceptable to abuse women behind closed doors to you or more acceptable for a woman to call men stupid on stage? you brought up justin beiber. since pop music is exclusively targeted towards women and has a lot of female singers in that realm, of course no men are going to come out and say women are stupid (they would lose every fan they have), they do it in other genres with male targeted music, therefore it’s not a fair representation. Eminem has talked about d…

men are the group committing a disproportionate amount of violent crimes. this happens everywhere, places with arabs, blacks, whites, asians, jews. you are implying id change my opinion if it was claimed that black people commit more crime (a statistical fact) which i wouldn’t, bc i believe economic factors apply here, just not for women. for example, women are less financially inclined then men in the world, but they are not doing crime at the same rates as a man, who is white, and maybe more l…

no, by law the person who comes onto the other drunk person is the perpetrator if the victim finds it un consensual. a no is not required for something to be rape, you can in-fact rape an unconscious person or a minor, or a inebriated person without them saying no and it will fully be counted as rape as it should be. weird that you think that’s not how the law works.

The Souad Faress case is real and the facts are pretty much as described — Mark Pearson was acquitted and the anonymity asymmetry is a legitimate issue worth discussing. That said, it’s worth noting this is one high-profile example being used to make a broader point. False accusations happen across all genders and in many legal contexts — custody disputes, property crime, workplace conflicts. Research puts false sexual assault reports at roughly 2–10%, which means the overwhelming majority of re…

there’s a lot of proven evidence that violence is so prevalent in men bc of how they are socially conditioned. emotions are weak and seen as too feminine to be had by men. if i couldn’t cry my entire life id be angry too and probably commit some heinous act, but my emotions were treated as normal behavior bc im a girl. so spreading that word that it’s okay to not be okay and maybe even posting a resource on here for other men to vent about their problems could help. instead it just seems like ev…

i know men are attacked, that’s not up for debate im saying it’s a gendered thing, if half the population (men) is doing most of the crime it’s cause for concern don’t you think? and maybe even socially enforced.

you said you can’t take me seriously, that’s a personal insult. you don’t repect me and maybe that’s based on facts you collected over a 30 second convo, but it’s still an insult. also it’s hard for me to believe you didn’t understand me. what about what i said didn’t you understand?

which is worse for you? that sabrina called men stupid on stage or a man abusing multiple women?

you said i had a narrative which is a harmful assumption, you said you can’t take me seriously, you implied i was dumb and asked if i read what i said before typing it out.

i don’t have a narrative, men are complex multidimensional beings. i’m saying YOU are so mad at woman, that you can’t even engage with me; a person trying to help and understand men. you threw personal insults at me this entire time when i haven’t done that to u.

i mean kinda i guess but like, more so in the direction of not ridiculing men for having emotions, crying, etc. bc obviously they are going to take that shit out on someone, man or woman.

are you not interested in progress ? preventing crime before it happens ?
/r/MensRights28/03/26 06:40 AM

alright whateves. i only meant the focus seems to be on feminism and not gendered violence and how to prevent it. which is something both genders could work on together but its been decided it’s us vs them now so there’s not really any chance at that.

he did worse shit actually, he said that he began "abusing all of my relationships" from the age of 19, and was "disrespectful to women". in his words.

they aren’t disadvantaged in going to school bcuz anyone can get a degree with a loan, they are disadvantaged bc once they graduate they somehow don’t get the equal majority in all career paths. men take up higher positions even though women are more educated. ( unless it’s caretaking.)

i mean woman try to commit suicide 2-3 times more technically, but bc men are more likely to have guns they are more successful.

i’m sorry i don’t get what ur trying to say. maybe edit the post?

yessss, i’m a woman (22) and i am a feminist. the technical definition of feminism i mean. i don’t have a personal definition. or i guess my personal definition is the technical one (as in advocates for equality of the sexes). i just like to get nuanced perspectives on here and hopefully support male victims of dv and SA. i do the same on the feminist subreddits for female victims as well.

idk no pepper spray and wearing heals seems to be working for us considering who is the victim of most of these crimes lmao.
/r/MensRights28/03/26 04:32 AM

okay but yall do seem more angry at feminist for not realizing this instead of focusing energy on decreasing the frequency of this. in a men’s rights sub for gods sakes why make everything a gender war.
/r/MensRights28/03/26 04:31 AM

so why are you more mad at feminist, shouldn’t u be mad at men who do the crimes.
/r/MensRights28/03/26 04:28 AM

so shouldn’t you be upset with men for making you guys victims? shouldn’t we have an alliance to protect eachother from dangerous men?
/r/MensRights28/03/26 04:27 AM

u seem more upset by women having an idea of asymmetric unsafeness then the men that actually attack you guys. we should be in this together.

and who are men attacked by?

Woman Is The Root Of All Evil" by Dr. John (2022) Women Are Evil" by Poolí (2024) i found an even ratio of men and women doing this. can’t believe there aren’t more from women, if i was living in the last century as a woman id be writing those songs too lmaoo.

yeah i mean dr dre got an award named after him even after his expansive history of violence of women. and feminist petitioned that, but it’s slightly different considering she hasn’t abused anyone.

would a man be sexualizing himself by wearing tiny compression running shorts and no shirt? i don’t get why they can wear basically nothing and not be seen as sexualizing themselves. like you can’t be sexualized without someone actively sexualizing you. you can’t be alone in a room with yourself or a bunch of women wearing slutty clothes and be sexualized, putting men in the mix is the only reason it’s seen as being sexual.

because the person who initiates sex is the one who bares the responsibility by law.
