She’s an only child. BFF is married with 9 kids 😳. Good luck finding a good one!

Thank you! Thinking about putting the house deed in a trust, down the road, then making her a beneficiary in case I die so she’s covered because my ex will come after the house if I do die I’m sure.

She gave me $950 cash for 5 years as well (we rented a house). I used that cash to purchase a $250k house in cash because my ex wife is suing in me in a civil lawsuit now and wanted to get rid of cash before she took that too.

I understand your pov and thank you. Been together 5 years now and have utilities on autopay to get points on card so she gives cash. Moved out of my house late 2018, single for 1 year then I met her. Jan 2020 I asked her to move in. Only thing I asked her to do is just help with groceries and minimal stuff. I’ve been putting away some of her money in another account so we can go traveling to her favorite places then treat herself to whatever she likes. Just haven’t told her yet.

Not to crush your soul or anything. My ex had a degree as well so prepare for worst scenario. I fully understand you feel. You can entry level jobs like a cashier if you haven’t worked. There’s no excuse. I feel you man!

Good on lawyer part. Got nailed on spousal support because she never had to work. Grew up where men’s supposed to take care of bills. She claimed she’s incompetent to work so 8 years is max Kansas on spousal support. I also learned the hard way that I should have paid half of martial bills + her bills during divorce then send the bills to her to pay other half’s. We asked to get refunded but the judge said she never ordered me to pay her bills so no refunds. She’s quite the bias judge. I paid th…

In response to taking my soul comment. She practically did wiping out photos of all my kids because she was that petty. Made sure everything was gone on my iCloud I had for decades.

I understand your POV! I’m 54. Married 33 years, lived separate (in basement) for 7 years and kids knew what was going on. Filed for divorce once my youngest turned 18. Had to give her lake house (she sold it and got to keep all $), 6 figure lump sump (out of my life savings that she didn’t fucking work that I’m still petty about lol), all furniture/atvs/golf cart/guns/etc and $1,000/month for 8 years.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
