So, you're telling me that a female soldier in Canada has to pass the same physical fitness standards as men. Sorry the standard has been lowered for all if that has any truth in it at all. The attrition rate in the female platoon was slightly over 50%. The attrition rate among the males was about 10%. At least in the US military women have lower physical standards than men, and many standards have been changed to accommodate them. Military leaders are pressured to celebrate diversity. They are, however built in a way that their hips don't get stress fractures fom walking laden with pack and gear. Watching women get awards after a deployment for shit they didn't do gets old. 10	Self Defense Actually, defending oneself against anyone can result in one's arrest. Even if nobody is trying to press assault charges, if the cops have to show up they're going to at least cite someone for disorderly conduct. If you have to defend yourself, especially against a woman use only the force necessary to get away. Cops will often use their judgment, but often their judgment is wrong. 13	I was drugged at a bar but realized what was going on and left, how do I get through and past this I happened upon a buddy of mine in a club in time to get him out of the situation safely once. A few months later he struck it off with a stunningly attractive woman he ended up marrying. He was thankful, and dropped it, though he was more aware and cautious after that. I've had different close calls, but never quite that. Somehow moving forward managing the risks better may not be perfect, but it works.
