cooking as a date is such a hook line and sinker; i worked in a kitchen all through college prior to my now desk job post grad, and i still have photos of me as a cook on profiles. makes such great conversation and a nice “would you like to come over for dinner and wine?” is such a great line

what did you notice about her that caught your eye? compliment something she can (and likely did consciously) control over something that is inherent (dress over something like eye color)

definitely a little bit more developed over time. listen to someone speak truly and you’ll be able to start picking up on it. i’ve heard to repeat the last five words or so of a sentence when things get tough. i moved from kansas city to texas when i was younger? oh, so do you consider yourself a texan? how long ago was that? do you miss kansas city ? what caused you to move? just some riffs based off a sentence, but you get the idea. very much a developed skill

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
