Yeah, thats why I don't date 'nice guys' anymore. They tend to be average in looks and have low self esteem. Once they think they got you, they automatically get a big head and think they can keep climbing the ladder of hot girls. They end up cheating on you, you leave, they die on the inside once they realize they were being delusional. If they realize it at all.

Just to clear things up I'm not an avid cursor at least not in public. My co worker has just heard me curse when I'm frustrated at work from time to time. And I dunno I'm weird, people don't bother me when they curse lol. But I get the being warm and friendly, I just don't wanna be so warm and friendly I'm attracting every lvm there is. A lot of moths are attracted to my light.

Yeah i told her it might have worked for her because she's an older woman, but I told her our generation is looking for something different.

Thats the thing I've come across so much is people just don't want to validate that we have feelings. Thank you for your comment! I appreciate it!

Same here, I have emotions and I have my own particular responses to things. I've never believed in 'acting like a lady' either. I'm edgy and blunt too, I curse with the best of them, and do my thing. I had one guy ask if I was a cuddly warm person like he was, and I was like nah I'm kinda hot and cold, I'm not always in the mood to cuddle, and I got called crazy/schizo because of it lol

Exactly! Why would I lie and act out this facade to get a man and then he finds out it really isn't what he thought? He would leave anyway. Marriage doesn't make people stay.

Yes, and even though he may not have any type of attraction or respect for her, he will stay for all those benefits and just continually try to bring her down.

Yes, the guy pretty much knocked her up so he would always have ties to her. Fortunately, she was just now able to get a permanent gpo against him.

Yesss! If they can get away with it, they will continue to do so.

Perhaps if the man was really genuine, i could see this. But yes there is a tendency in society to think women are helpless and must be owned by SOMEONE whether that's parents or a man. I remember my brothers would get to go out and do anything and they knocked up their girlfriends, but I couldn't go out for my mothers fear of me having sex and potentially getting knocked up. Double standards.

I call them the weekend warrior dads. Dated a guy that was so proud he looked after his kids EVERY weekend and even had date nights with his daughters. And when we started dating that all magically disappeared.

Agreed. Watched this happened with a family member. My cousins baby daddy wanted a kid so he could feel better about himself. 3 kids later, she's on her own and he helps with nothing. Also, he's gotten another woman pregnant.

I've seen couples hold hands in the front seat without issue, one hand on the wheel and one holding the hand, letting go when need to. I didnt think that was too crazy

If he is a narcissist, he may never discard you entirely if he thinks you'll still supply him. I have an ex/old situationship that I only hung out with for 9 months. I ended it, and 19 months later he is still trying to get back with me but has no plans on changing his narcissistic behavior.

I'd like to add the same reaction comes from ending things. I usually try to be honorable and end things face to face and I quit doing that after a guy I talked to for 2 months went apeshit after i ended it. So yup. I quit doing that

I've often said if you treat a dude like crap, they cling to you. I have one ex who is actively chasing me now since I left well over a year ago due to mental and emotional abuse. I mean he tried everything. Said I deserved the abuse, his previous girlfriends were better than me. He wouldn't clean, cook, nothing. The days I cooked, he went out. The days I didn't cook, he stayed in a complained. If I went out with him, he acted as if he didn't know me. If I didn't wanna go, he stayed in and prete…
