I’m a married man that usually just reads to get female perspective on things. But this seems like a rare question that I can add value to the discussion. Men that make a lot of money usually don’t care about a woman’s job and income. Traditionally it’s the man’s job to bring in money and women generally prefer not to have to work, esp after having kids. I have a very demanding job and my wife is a SAHM. I don’t and never did care only about looks or her income. My wife is smart and she had a ca…

You’re doing everything right. A reasonable man can’t ask for much more. No clubs, no guy friends (I think that’s a little much but I can understand the idea), and no social media thirst traps. If conversations with male coworkers at work make him jealous, that’s his problem. As others have said he might be cheating

He’s definitely gaslighting you. I know the first answer is never dump/leave him on this sub but the shitty fact is you never had a legit relationship with him running to this ex. He sounds like a classic narcissist.

That could be an alternate interpretation. The OP was a little vague about the kind of options they mean.

The average man does not have more options than the average woman.

This is awesome advice. I have personally used it numerous times and it always makes disappointments easier to take.

It would probably encourage his masculinity if he had more responsibilities. When everything is handed to you some find it easy to kind of just exist within that bubble. But if you have people depending on you that tends to wake men up pretty good.

Man here. Weight lifting isn’t a turnoff. My wife did it before she got pregnant. You’ll just get more toned. Men and women usually have different goals for lifting, and their bodies react to it differently. Men usually put on muscle because of high testosterone levels as long as they do the other things required to put on muscle (like eating well). I’ve seen this myself the past couple years. I run instead of lifting but my legs have gotten much bigger and stronger. Women lift to get tone. Don’…

Man here. Another poster mentioned he may be depressed. With just this info I think that’s likely. I also think he knows he’s trending down in his role as a man and he gets defensive to get you to drop it and he can ignore the problem. Bottom line I think he’s trying to distract himself from having to figure out what’s next for him. It can be very hard to find a new path when an old one closes. Depending on his previous employment he may have job skills that aren’t very transferable. This is a t…

30M here. Idk if men are allowed to post so if not then mods do what you will with this post. He is doing three things. 1. Showing a lot of insecurity 2. Because he’s trying to project being a HVM when he knows he isn’t and 3. Most certainly taking advantage of you. He needs to go.

IMO astrological signs are mostly a thing for women. A woman’s sign has never made any difference to me.

I noticed that too. Either she’s hiding something or she thinks being the mother of his children means he marries her or nobody

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
