See, the thing is: it's usually hard to find "women's" shoes in man's sizes. He either had small feet and borrowed from a friend or he had those already...

What is the best movie of all time? Why is it "Die Hard"?

Realistically, there should be a very tiny almost invisible tip that's blue, followed by an almost as tiny layer of pink and the rest of the pyramid 98% should be purple. Were all in the shit and the whole men vs women is the new version of white vs black just to distract from the real have vs have nots. Don't fall for it. Your enemy is not even the women against toxic masculinity. They're victims of propaganda from a much more powerful entity.

Well, being pressured into watching the movie so as not to feel like I'm sexist pig really made me enjoy the 10 minutes of the movie I was able to watch before begging for a rusty spoon so I could perform an appendectomy on myself because it would be preferable to watching the rest of the movie.

Married guy here, Don't get married even illegally. That is more than all.

There's still common law. And if you have kids even if you're not married you're still in it for child support. His best chances are to either be poor or take custody.

I enjoyed Black in the beggining but he got too repetitive. I find Mulaney a good one but I rarely laugh out loud. Carlin was a genius and made you think more than laugh but it was so easy to enjoy his acts. Jim Jefferies is pretty good. I also enjoyed the new Gervais special. The dark humour from Doug Stanhope is exactly the kind of comedy I enjoy. There's a guy who's not on Netflix but I remember liking quite a bit is Danny Bhoy. Anyways, if your like these guys you might want to give Wong ano…

Look, I recently watched Ali Wong's specials on netflix and I had a good time. Yes, she screams a little bit more than necessary but she's still a quality comedian. Wouldn't describe her a gut bustingly though but for reference there are very few female comedians I enjoy. If you're curious, I enjoy all typically good comedians like chappele, shaffir and whatnot.

True but then you introduce other variables that need to be taken into consieeration like amount of alcohol ingested, tendencies in each group based on days of the week, host city demographics, etc. It can be done to a certain degre but not only it's not worth it, it would still be pretty hard to achieve (like having a "equally good" male and female comedians with the exact same delivery. At that point it becomes so subjective it would be like comparing male and female musicians.

My point was to show how unfeasible this comparison would be in reality. You can't expect to hear the same jokes twice as if they're hearing it for the first time as well, among other things like you pointed out.

I'd say it's more about men needing to be funny to attract women, whereas women don't often face the same requirement in order to be successful with the opposite sex. Either way, it's a somewhat long read but definitely worth it. And not boring at all since we're talking about Hitch here. Agree or disagree with the man, it's undeniable he was a great writer.

Yup. My point was just to point out how unfeasible it actually is. You're never gonna get two different comedians to have the exact same delivery. Not to mention the same level of drunkenness.

The proper way to test this theory would have been to have a male and a female comedian perform the same set with the same delivery to the same audience with the same level of drunkenness.

I'll just leave this here: the late Hitch on why women aren't funny P.s. please actually read it before assuming the title is the conclusion.

But people can get upset and offended about anything though. The problem is we started listening to them. Or maybe it was the comedians. People get offended about airplane food today for real when we used to make fun about it. Old headlines from The Onion are becoming true everyday. We should probably blame comedy.

That's certainly an interesting perspective. As a supporter of freedom of speech in essence, I'm still heavily inclined to believe that beating women into submission would have been worse in terms of results as well as morally. On the other hand, I'm quite positive that the whole SJW ideology has been a factor in the election of Trump. There's a lot of people out there that can only be called a cis priviledged pig so many times before they think "Fuck it, I'm voying for trump. That will make the…
/r/MensRights27/03/17 04:52 PM

It's past ironic that being intolerant of intolerance is exactly what people who are currently SJWs needed to be doing for a long time. Instead you have them being actively violent against people who are basically on their side for using words like exotic while also being tolerant of religions that have a horrible track record of women's rights.

I'd seen this one before. Great material. It's comedy but it's the good kind, the kind with the real world as basis.

I wish I had good advice to give but having never been in your situation and not knowing the legal aspects of wherever you are located I'm going to refrainf from being specific. Based on what you say though, and the choice for username I am going to make the generic suggestion of looking for help. Good luck, friend.

What do you mean by "are far closer together? The statistics that I'm familiar with are not from the US and because of the "macho" culture, what i have witnessed is that the same male LEO can somewhat overreact (try to become the hero in the case a woman shows up like Rihanna for instance) and "get rough" with the accused male but also dismiss less evident physical abuse (like a slap, for instance). Again, this is what I've witnessed with the statistics in a "macho" culture that is not in the US…

This is a popular myth that is often misinterpreted, even though it is mostly quoted when talking about pedophiles and sexual abuse. So it goes"Some studies have found that sexually abusive men are more likely to report a history of sexual abuse than other men. However, the majority of men who sexually abuse children do not report being sexually abused in childhood." To put it in simple terms with some made up numbers: 10% of male a users report to have been abused while 5% of males (non abusers…

While probably true in most cases, I'm inclined to think that there are still women who don't get their complaints taken seriously. Just imagine, if there are still a lot of men that behave like this, there must be some that are LEO. It usually requires some serious physical abuse as evidence since without that even other women might not believe their claims. Unfortunately, i think that already a bit late in the process to involve the police. Between those and the amount of violence that doesnt …

I guess you can choose to interpret u/Fionnlagh in a different way. I didn't take from his comment that he hits his kids or that he even has kids. Just that he's an angry guy that bottles things up and believes that hitting women is wrong but doesn't see a problem in hitting men. Regardless of that, if "literally doing less work" were a valid argument, it would be super easy to solve most problems like addiction, debt, being overweight. Just eat less, spend less and use less drugs! Look, I under…

If I'm being honest, it took me quite a while (and well into adulthood) to understand this. I was brought up in an extremely physically violent culture and reasonably violent environment. I remember vividly stating how I could not understand bullying or how Columbine happened. It took me moving to a different country, being exposed to a different culture for years and forcing myself to try and understand a different point of view in order to change my mind.
/r/MensRights24/02/17 03:07 PM

I didn't mean imply that the fear of being seen as the abuser is not there. I'm well aware of the existing biases in domestic abuse. It's just that after some research into it, i finally came to understand a little bit more about the phenomenon of men being victims of domestic abuse. In fact, I've come to believe that these same biases are partly to blame, since a lot of women become abuser because they can get away with it, besides the whole "physical strength and size" argument.
/r/MensRights24/02/17 03:00 PM

Just because the main concept might be simple or simply explained doesnt mean it's easy. I'm not sure that it was implied it was supposed to be easy. I honestly thought it was more encouraging tbh.
/r/MensRights24/02/17 02:53 PM

It's not just fear of being seen as the abuser. Some people actually don't want to hurt other people, especially people they like (such as an SO). Being aware of their strength and knowing that just defending themselves means they will hurt someone else prevents them from doing so.
/r/MensRights24/02/17 01:09 PM

In one of the videos(with Joe Rogan, I believe) he says he was 14 when he was abused by the priest. Supposedly, he's also talking about that relationship when he is talking about boy/men relationships being ok.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
