Wow this resonates with me so much. Good on ya! I just turned 49 and divorced after 25 years. I made excuses for putting up with the lack of intimacy. We had many interests we shared and I'll miss some of her companionship but I'm looking forward to finding women who appreciate who I am like you have. I read those same books and found great support here too. I went to a music festival this weekend, met a fun women and for the first time in my life asked a stranger for her number. This is definit…

I suspect he's talking about Attached. I just finished reading it myself. Easy and interesting read about attachment styles. https://bookshop.org/p/books/attached-the-new-science-of-adult-attachment-and-how-it-can-help-you-find-and-keep-love-amir-levine/6718109

Nice! Enjoy. Tonight probably just catching up on Last of Us. For my marriage, the 13th was always more important as that was the day we met. So last night I visited a couple new breweries in town with some good buddies I've known even longer than our 26 years.

Go to therapy. Eat well. Exercise. Treat yourself well, for YOU. This right here. Easier said than done for sure, but it's key. I have NMMNG on audio and listen to parts of it at least every other year as a refresher.

That is a great question. I've been pondering that too though I'm still really early in the process. What I'm also struggling with is the fact that I technically have two rings. I took one off 10 years ago when we separated for a year and then I bought a new one when we got back together (I don't think that was a total mistake but maybe the last 2 years were). The original has been in a drawer for 9 years so I might just sell it for the gold value and use it on a vacation. The second one maybe I…

Oh hey! I'm doing that challenge too. A buddy signed us up to do while I work though the divorce process I hadn't thought about that the connection to my ring. I'll have to think about that idea. Glad to hear things are going well for you. This year would be our 25th anniversary and we're only a month out from our decision so things are still a mess emotionally. Good luck on your journey!

As someone who drank too much of the kook-aid while working at a crypto company in 2021, this comic is amazing. :-D

Ok clearly the wrong answer but I had a good chuckle on a day I really needed a laugh. Thanks.

For sure, these are the two places that are getting the full story.

Wow this is gold. I needed to read this today as I've been really angry this week and starting to wonder why I wasn't telling our friends the whole story. Thank you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
