I do, but at most I become friends with them.

How exactly do I do that?

No, but I feel like I'm inferior to others because it's so much more difficult for me to achieve something that others can just by existing.

But how do I not think that? I have this feeling due to bullying in middle school, and I can't seem to shake it. I also compare myself to others who have those experiences.

How do I get that parasympathetic response?

I do talk to random people, women included. I just never ask out anyone because I don't feel like I'm good enough.

But is it not a turn off to women being this inexperienced at this age?

The thing is, I have improved in a lot of aspects. I used to be very socially anxious and I'm not anymore, but I still have no dating experience.

I did actually start kickboxing, but my injured hip derailed that.

I'm tired of that.

But it requires complete dedication to that lifestyle. That's not what I want.

I wasn't necessarily quiet. I was actually quite social until like, the 4th grade. The thing is, I was smarter than the other kids (at least in the first couple of grades) and this one kid didn't like that. They would also bully me because I had emotional reactions when they said certain things to me. At times, I would even run away from school out of fear.

Yeah, my therapist did mention that I most likely have C-PTSD. Although, in certain situations I find that I don't have any anxiety (not in situations involving flirting, though).

I actually don't play video games. Not even close to what I use to do back in the day. I've also never watched anime. I have been lacking on the gym, however. My main issue is that I don't ask out any girls.

Apart from running clubs, what other social hobbies should I do? I did yoga, but I was the only guy among mostly older women, and people don't really talk a lot during yoga, since it's well... yoga.

Well, since the start of college I have intentionally socialized more and accepted more social outings even at the cost of my grades. But I feel like I keep doing that in order to feel "whole" because I missed out on so much during high school, but that feeling never comes.

I think the belief that I'm not good enough comes from my traumatizing childhood experiences getting bullied. I have felt like an outcast (though not always) since then. The problem is, I haven't had the experiences necessary to alleviate that trauma because I keep coming back to that belief.

Yeah I've heard this before, but I've never actually tried it. It seems as if I'd be lying to myself if I write these things down. At least, that's the reason I give myself as to why I haven't tried it.

The thing is, I can talk to girls fine, it's just that when it comes to escalating into something more I stop thinking that it's something that the girl would actually want and just completely fuck it up.

Not in my case. I was the tallest kid in class in 9th grade, and while I had friends that were girls, I didn't date as I was bullied, while my bullies, who were quite shorter, did.

Yeah a lot of people tend to notice me when I walk into a room, women included. It's just that I rarely approach anyone.

I'm 6 foot 7 but have never been chased, it probably isn't the height.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
