In my agreement we have to exchange prior years tax returns by March 1. If the state calculator shows and increase or decrease we do that, if we don’t agree either party can apply for a modification. In your case I wouldn’t expect the judge to accept hearsay rental income that she isn’t disclosing on her tax returns. Maybe she is?

You’re setting yourself and children up for hardship by having the exchange at 8PM and not after school or in the AM… Look into Amy Baker PhD and read some of her material on the best exchange days/times and why, Exchanges after school are ideal because the child has all day at school to reset. Exchanges at night are lousy just imagine the stress of going from mom to dad, and now you’re tired and cranky on top of it.

Which part? The cops coming? The restraining order? The court battles? The legal fees? The hidden security cameras? The beach girlfriend? The musician boyfriend? The toxic friends?

You’re doing great keep it up! I am just on the other side of this. Quitting drinking is single handily the best thing you have done, congrats and I hope you keep off it forever. You’re going to continue to do better and better, however you cannot control your ex or her reactions to you. Just be grey rock to her, if you have something to say to her don’t, let your attorney contact her attorney for the only things that matter are child support #s, custody schedule, buyout $… as much as you want t…

Oh I am totally on board with that idea, I will go with you! I am currently 3 months into divorce process. I can’t wait until it’s finalized so that I can celebrate with a trip like that. Fishing charter in Sitka AK is on my list also. I thought about going sooner, but it will be all the more sweeter once its finished.

Best advice I was given, and can’t fully recommend is exercise. Walk, gym, yoga, run, whatever just physically exhaust yourself to get your mind off of it, also so you can sleep better.

You don’t move out without temporary court orders. Step 1 go get a lawyer.

lol yeah man, your doing great keep it up. My ex is like yours with the alienation, saying nasty things about me. It really hurts, I found a development child psychologist that specializes in parental alienation and strategies to handle and combat it. I am meeting with her this week, I will DM you my notes from that session.

How long ago did you finalize? She was on 3 different dating apps, refused therapy, and then finally filed on me in June.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
