I think there is more info missing that would help. However if a judge takes you from equal custody to (basically) zero, absolutely appeal.

A word of caution on the AI platforms. They're great if you need "someone to talk to" (without blowing up family/friends), and they're helpful to draft documents and sentiment analysis. But some like Gemini can paint overly-rosy outcomes that may not play out in real life. Simply go into it with a healthy degree of skepticism.

Second the gratitude. In fact, I'd go so far to recommend community service, volunteer work, mentoring teens. Just about everyone here has likely got their PhD in the school of hard knocks. You could almost argue we have a responsibility to share our time and knowledge with others in this chapter of our lives.

This, all off this. I might even consider a facial x-ray, depending on how hard she hit you. I'm no doctor, but if it caught a fracture or something, that evidence will stick around longer than a bruise. Just a thought.
