1	How can I go about being more open and easily talkative When I had this problem in my 20's I specifically chose a job that required me to be outgoing and social and had to approach and hold conversations with people. If you cant take that approach, maybe pick up a night or 2 in a second job in a similar situation, that way it wont be a big deal if you quit.
