I put 'ruin' in apostrophes.

Definitely not, I would be miserable.

Op is from the Philippines, she could probably give a better explanation.

I put 'ruin' is inverted commas.

Yeah, add to that having kids and it's pretty time consuming. I have a teenager and whilst she does some chores, I'm still having to check what's she's done and correct her (her version of a tidy room is NOT tidy lol) I've spent two hours today alone, all I'vee done is folded laundry, hung up new laundry, washed up and changed one bed.

This is what I thought. Washing and hanging up clothes alone is about an hour a week. Daily washing and drying dishes...30 mins a day. Cooking (basic meals) 30 minutes a day

The comments are made to be provocative. They're trying to piss men off and it's working. Dessert? Like..C'mon, the vast majority of couples enjoy desserts together. 'He looked too excited' you mean he was charismatic? Something women regularly say they find attractive?

The bottom line is they're shitheads, and if they weren't being shitheads in the Philippines, they would be shitheads back home. The difference is that the woman they are shitheads to are their looks match. I also don't think their smv is higher, I think they just have relatively more money so women reluctantly date/ marry them. They're LBHs. At the very least ppl should be open about what culture they are talking about and quit pretending like the attitudes of the motherland applies the same to…

If those men didn't go there, they would just do that back home. Either way, you can just avoid interacting with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/25 10:33 PM

No it wouldn't, they would just be dicks in their own countries.

Having sex without desire and attraction feels like a violation. It makes me viscerally uncomfortable. I'm not super shallow with looks, but I need to find him sexually appealing.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/25 07:47 PM

I'm half joking. I have visited the states and people were really nice there.

Omg we're getting annoyed at flirting now ?!
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/25 07:42 PM

Eh, you can turn this around. Western men regularly go to non western countries and 'ruin' the dating scene there with their shitty behaviour.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/25 06:43 PM

Reason #342 I'm glad I don't live there.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/25 06:41 PM

It's pretty common in some countries for women to ask men out. I asked my bf out on tinder, the bf before that I stuck up conversation up with at a party and was quite active in escalating things. I've also initiated casual sex, a few times. I really don't see the issue with? I don't know any who just waits around to be approached.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/25 01:07 PM
1

You can just solve this problem by vetting for men who are super into pleasuring their partner and whose own enjoyment of the sex depends a lot on how much she enjoys it. This is how most casual sex I have had is like, and some of the times it was literally a pump and dump - so it wasn't wasn't trying to impress me.

I have not swam the channel, but I know it is exceedingly difficult as people have done it and wrote about it. Going to bars and night clubs means that you might have to interact with strangers. Yes, you are both at an event so already have something in common, it is also a social space where people want to socialise with strangers (mostly).
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/25 12:42 AM
1

I would call that warm approaching. You already have something in common (you want to be at a certain event) and a club is a social space.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/25 12:40 AM
1

Obvipusly nkt, that's that's there's a pink 'female' flair next to my make lol I've read it from cold approach forums. That was a while ago, the odds are waaay lower nowadays with OLD and the rise of anti socialness. r/seduction seems to say similarly. (Although it's hard to tell what they look like) Women simply aren't open to being hassled by randomers when they're going about their business. Warm approaching and networking seem to be the way to go.

No way can an average man get 5-10 percent. It's more like 1, or 0.5 %
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 07:09 PM
3

Actual pick up artists who regularly do it say the success rate is incredibly low. And those are slightly above average in looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 06:07 PM
4

They almost never succeed, that's the point.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 05:40 PM
5

Literally no one benefits from cold approaching. Women get exhausted with it, sick of it and start to dislike men even more. Men get their self esteem battered because they get rejected for the 200th time. Social spaces exist for a reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 04:37 PM

Not really. Humans have evolved to mutually enjoy sex, we have developed physiologically specifically for sexual enjoyment. Paying for sex removes the enjoyment aspect, as the prostitute is motivated by money and not enjoyment or desire. That's why it's seen as viscerally weird and gross. Family units and attitudes around relationships are a blip in time relative to how long humans have been around
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 10:17 PM

The two things are worlds apart and not in the slightest bit comparable? A hooker does not desire you and is just enduring your cock for money. Casual sex is two people who desire each other and give each other mutual pleasure. I think people who think they're similar have never had good sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 10:15 PM

I think it's incredibly depressing

Frequently, there's a lot of pretty men in the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 11:19 PM

I'm saying all the characteristics are important. Face, body, hair, height and not being a twat. If any of those preffered characteristics are missing, I'm not interested.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 09:49 PM
2

Please explain, I don't understand what you're saying?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 09:30 PM

His looks would rouse sexual attraction in me. I don't care if he's mild mannered and tepid. My boyfriend is very milld mannered and I smashed him within an hour of meeting lol.

What was too broad ?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 07:28 PM

How would keeping a cap on how many prostitutes can legally register mitigate trafficking and abuse? Surely, you would want as many to register as possible?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 07:05 PM
0

It's legal in Turkey but heavily regulated. You have to be registered, but they only allow a certain number to register. If there was no stigma around sex work, it would be fully legal with very little regulation besides health and safety.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 06:54 PM
1

Men also make laws prohibiting it, so they must have some sort of stigma.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 06:47 PM
1

If that were true, there wouldn't be so many laws around prohibiting it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 06:45 PM
2

There is definitely still stigma, people in those countries would still be very upset if a loved one was selling their bodies for money. Especially Turkey which is pretty conservative. Common doesn't mean it's destigmatised.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 06:37 PM

Such as ?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 06:30 PM

I think being desired is very big part of womens sexual experience. I don't know any woman that would enjoy sex with a man who didn't desire her physically. If they did, you would see a lot more women paying for sex. The minimum for me is full head of hair, over 5'5, not over pr underweight and a face a want to kiss. As for personality, he just has to not be a dick.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 06:24 PM
2

It's more a case of 'that's weird and gross'.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 09:00 AM

I don't think many women actively seek platonic relatio ships with men, they just happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 12:15 AM

I mean it's 80 quid in the UK. That's what a lot of people spend on a night out.

It's generally accepted that almost every single male uses porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/25 12:03 AM

It will never be free from social stigma.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 11:25 PM

They would still do better than the elephant man or a 70 yo.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 01:15 PM

I've spent my whole life talking to women about men we find attractive, I think I know what I'm talking about.

Height is not more important than face lmao.

Yep, totally how I feel as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:35 PM

Nope. An attractive man would have thick hair, square jaw, nice skin..to name a few.

It's called hiding in plain site. Jimmy Savile did it for literally decades.

Which products do you use to whiten? The EU bans quite a lot of teeth whitening products as over 6% hydrogen peroxide is not good for you (supposedly). I used aligners and honestly it was life changing.

You have fantastic teeth.

Tbf the above commenter compared careers so I was specifically talking about wealth. A popular, charismatic blue collar man is secure than a dorky high earner.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/25 11:06 AM

I would definitely hook up with a socially awkward guy if I liked how he looked and he didn't say anything incredibly stupid. However, some men will straight up pass on sex with an obese women and prefer to jerk of. It is what it is.

Pedro pascal?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/25 11:38 AM

No need to be rude. Simply sasayin'I wasn't necessarily talking about earnings' would have sufficed :)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/25 11:28 PM
6

Kinda agree with this. In terms of raw attraction, blue collar men are more masculine and sexually desirable. Women make a choice to date the dorky lawyer because him having money benefits her in various ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/25 08:56 PM
6

Depends how you are framing 'desire'. Women don't sexually desire a man because of his job, they make a conscious decision to date him because they see the benefit of being with a high earner. In short, they desire the money, not the man who has the money.

This is a debate sub. Its hard to have a proper debate with an emotionally charged redditor who can only offer an annacdote to the conversation.

Because centuries of religion has successfully used sex as a means to control people. Religious figures are absolutely porn-brain obsessed with sex..especially gay sex for some reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 05:22 PM
1

Of course they don't, that's why you go with friends. People absolutely do mingle at clubs and events, that's kind of the purpose of the alcohol industry.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 01:21 PM
3

Sounds like a massive waste of time and energy.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 09:59 AM

I go to a pub at least once a week, and I go to a gig/club or party maybe once a month. Strangers constantly mingle and hooking up very much happens, lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 10:07 PM

Because social spaces are a way to build quick raport before approaching. It is vastly different to cold approaching in public spaces
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 10:05 PM
43

I think everyone would just be happier if men stopped cold approaching. Men's self esteem geta absolutely battered after the 127th rejection, and women have been very vocal about how unpleasant it is for them, to. Warm approaching with minimal raport is the way to go.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 10:03 PM
7

Those books even say that the success rate is >1% successful.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/25 10:00 PM

Why don't you compliment each other?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 10:55 PM

B, that's basically me lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 05:02 PM

Not quite. This assumes that DT men exhibit these traits when they seduce women. The studies I looked at said that they exhibit whatever traits they think women will like, or use force/ coercion.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/25 10:04 AM

Plenty of women marry men for money, it doesn't mean they find them attractive.

> Individuals high in the Dark Triad are more likely to engage in sexual coercion (Figueredo et al., 2015; Jonason et al., 2017; Prusik et al., 2021). They are more likely to commit sexual assault (Navas et al., 2022) and sexual harassment (Zeigler-Hill et al., 2016). Further, individuals high in the Dark Triad are more aware of potential victims (Zeigler-Hill et al., 2016). They are more likely to have a “whatever-it-takes” attitude to their social interactions more broadly (Jonason et al., 201…

Genuinely curious - is that study able to give evidence that women find those specific traits attractive, particularly 'entitlement' ? Are the women in the study able to differentiate when their charm is 'glib' or not ? Impulsive people are fun and exciting, that makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 11:59 PM

Women are attracted to whatever traits the dark triad man decides to project. Essentially they are actors.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 11:06 PM

Gangsters and hooligans date a very specific type of woman that I don't think you would want to date, lol. As for CEOs and politicians, they have money. Its prostitution with extra steps.
