| 1 | A little bit on losing weight, and confidence building.I sound like a skeptic asshole. I embrace many parts of that diet, but not all of it. Not really. You just sound very vague. There are many studies that tout the benefits of cutting carbs. I don't really know what your point is. What parts of the diet do you embrace, and which parts do you have problems with? | /r/seduction | 22/08/12 09:38 PM |
| 1 | A little bit on losing weight, and confidence building.I think for keto, there's a slippery slope to saying it "works well", for losing weight quickly--alongside an intensive exercise regimen-- yes, that will happen. I'm not sure what you mean by slippery slope. The diet works well: you get to eat tasty foods and you lose weight without feeling hungry all the time. And up to a certain point, exercise is optional. Go look at the testimonials in /r/keto. Here are my results after a 2 month cut. | /r/seduction | 22/08/12 08:48 PM |
| 2 | A little bit on losing weight, and confidence building.Hitting the weights is important when doing weight loss also, but for toning more so than muscle gain. What is "toning"? Such a useless buzz word. You want to look more "toned'? Lose fat. You're not going to be gaining much muscle on a cut, if any, but lifting on a cut is important because it helps preserve your muscles. | /r/seduction | 22/08/12 08:12 PM |
| 3 | A little bit on losing weight, and confidence building.Weight is a nutritionally useless quantity. If you're really trying to lose it, limit caloric intake You weigh the food so that you can accurately count calories. Also, Keto diet is ~65% fat, ~30% protein, <5% carbs, and works well. | /r/seduction | 22/08/12 08:08 PM |
