Ok fair call I didn’t know you’re European. It is a big thing in Anglo countries (U.S., Australia, UK, etc).

Most men don’t but they’re more likely to match on your like if they see you’re 6 feet tall or taller.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 12:09 PM

I have screenshots of it on my phone. If you’ve never seen Hinge prompts or Tinder/Bumble bios talking about men’s heights you were probably on the app for only 5 minutes.

Have you ever been on a dating app and read the prompts women put on there.

You hit the nail on the head. Can’t ever win with either strategy because they’re both wrong.

It’s not wrong though. For every woman who’s aware of that, there’s ten more that it actually works on.

Crickets from the women here as to why a man would suddenly get more matches when he shows signs of wealth in his pictures.

It means that basically any women can find a guy who wants to be with them. There are 600 lb. women who have boyfriends who love them and feed them. There’s literally a guy for every and any type of woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/25 10:16 PM

This is how like more than 50% of my dating situations have gone. Women see kindness as like blood in the water. They’ll complain about a-hole guys but then be a-holes to normal guys who treat them with respect.

Do you not feel some revelation that your personality didn’t matter at all when you started attracting people after having a glow-up? The Red Pill can be toxic but at least it has actionable theses and tools people can use to improve themselves. Also another thing is that aesthetics and looksmaxxing is accepted as baseline when that wasn’t the case 15 years ago. If you openly talked about mewing and looksmaxxing 15 years you would’ve been seen as a weirdo, now Gen Z is fully red-pilled.

Why would a younger woman concerned with having children choose an older man? Because that’s been the norm for most of human history. I’ve also tried dating older women, even they want older men. As much as women here deny it, it’s the preference of the average heterosexual woman. Does this mean literally all women want to date men who are 10+ years older than them? No, but you’re also more likely to see that than the reverse.

The suit, mustache and hairstyle are doing heavy lifting here to make him look older. But generally yes I agree men back then just looked older.

I think it’s more the “Women are wonderful” effect and most men aren’t cave troll Neanderthals like what people online want to think.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/25 12:40 AM

Because the reality that they get by in life on the graciousness of men is too upsetting to them.

No, no, let’s see how this shakes out lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 11:05 PM

I briefly dated a female narcissist once and this sounds very familiar. I’ve also probably met men like this but I don’t typically associate with men who act that way, and it’s much easier to spot in men usually.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 11:16 PM
10

This. At least there’s no delusion with the Green Card wife about what she wants.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 12:01 PM

But was she delusional since she got what she wanted? Statistically speaking, yes. Run that scenario 99 more times randomized and she would predominantly still be single.

They wouldn’t bother with marrying an average-looking guy unless it was some kind of keeping up appearances thing for their parents or like an arranged marriage that they had no say in.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:01 PM
5

I predict that in the best case scenario they’d share them and in the worst they’d be fighting and competing to secure one. That basically already reflects existing Pareto distributions in reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 05:58 PM
2

That is exactly what would happen, they’d just all choose the same small group of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 05:56 PM

The exception to this that I’m aware of is that he’s a Chad physically and she knows she’s not his looksmatch. Just something I’ve observed with a relative. And it didn’t last, she ended up settling for a guy who was the same height as her. My prediction in the scenario where all women out-earn all the men is that they end up becoming a harem for the top 5-10% of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 05:55 PM

Do you really think women would not still get with men simply because they fell in love? I believe this proportion of women would be at or less than 10%. For women under 30 it would be like 1% to 5%. Do you really think that if you lose your income you automatically lose your wife? Maybe not if the guy has been married for 20+ years and his wife is his high school sweetheart but apart from that, yes I believe for the vast majority of straight men and women, the moment he loses his income he’s de…

Just because they were ugly to you doesn’t mean that they were objectively ugly. Also women tend to twist things to match their perception of reality. Like “Oh my friend’s bf cheated on her, obviously he was ugly”. You see how nonsensical that is? They were so ugly they had girlfriends and also had side pieces. I actually can’t even think of any guy I know who’s ever had that kind of situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 05:47 PM

Probably women on TokTik.

Sheldon’s biggest strengths were that he was legitimately a genius and he didn’t care about what other people thought of him. He would honestly fall outside of all this analysis because he himself never saw a relationship as a goal he wanted to achieve. He just accidentally met his SO because his friends set up him up on a blind online date and he felt socially compelled to attend it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 05:28 PM
1

That’s not true. I want a girlfriend but most women are crazy and have weird emotional problems and have avoidant attachment. It’s hard to find women nowadays who are actually looking for a relationship and not playing weird games and looking for validation.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/25 09:08 AM
3

Of the 4 original main characters, Sheldon was the closest to being the Chad among them, to other nerd women. He didn’t have to change himself or do anything different to attract them. Leonard never got anywhere with women until he was already in a relationship and then other women would want him, and that only happened more as he got older. That was a recurring plot point across the entire series.

…So she’s been with a lot of male partners who only gave her oral and never had PIV sex with her?

Would bet my house it’s because the guy was either >6 feet tall and/or had a good face. The West Elm Caleb type.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 05:17 PM

I’ve straight up dated women who were with men who stole money from them, leeched off them, and cheated on them, and was still rejected by them. I’ve also dated women who couldn’t drive, were between jobs/unemployed, and/or were living with their parents or roommates. A lot of those dates also didn’t lead to anything further. There’s something to the idea that women are just attracted to men with Dark Triad traits. And are probably more lenient to men with physical features they find attractive …
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 05:13 PM
5

Sheldon was basically a nerd Chad though, so he’s a bad example. He had at least two intelligent women repeatedly throwing themselves at him during the series, and he won the Nobel Prize in Physics.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 05:05 PM

It wouldn’t be sexist or misandrist for you to want a robot butler either.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 05:02 PM

Can you explain this phenomenon The thinking goes: Women who have been with a lot of men will have less qualms about cheating on you with another man because that barrier for them is much lower. Especially if their range of experiences is broader than yours and you have no idea how you truly compare to other men they’ve been with. And the more ex-FWBs and ex-partners they have in the picture that multiplies the chances they’ll be unfaithful to you. And yes that probably applies to promiscuous me…

It just makes me laugh. Women are the only ones who care about “Euro-centric beauty standards” from my life experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/25 11:42 AM
1

A good looking introverted guy is viewed as mysterious that women want to know more about. I remember when the Twilight books and movies were hot, this was definitely a demonstration of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/25 11:26 PM
9

That would be the equivalence to short, fat ass girl. Men would be attracted to her, and also to Taylor Swift. Because unlike women, most men are attracted to most members of the opposite sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/25 09:07 PM
16

You have a complete misunderstanding of beauty standards if you think women aren’t also subject to Eurocentric beauty standards. Men have very varied attractions. Think about how men get accused of fetishizing women who aren’t white, for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/25 09:06 PM

I didn’t say anything about myself being infallible. I just think it’s a positive thing to see a woman unequivocally say that cheating isn’t acceptable conduct for either gender and not think that women have some special exemption that should allow them to cheat or lie to their partners about the true paternity of their kids. Because I’ve definitely seen that on this sub and on social media.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/25 12:31 PM

You’re a good person. Don’t ever change.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/25 11:44 AM
17

Fucking exactly lol. Women were the ones claiming that men who can’t get into a relationship have bad vibes.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/25 12:06 AM
2

You can tell from how they act, the company they keep, and their lifestyle. It’s really not that hard. Like my sister got with a guy with no job who was living on bennies at home with his mom. When we later found out I was confused why she was working to support a guy who wouldn’t get off his ass. Women have no logic in their decision-making and will blame other people for questioning their dumb choices.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/25 12:05 AM

Women think most men are terrible though. That whole thing of preferring to choose the bear.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/25 10:51 PM
4

On the contrary I feel like OLD just removes the veil and exposes people’s (especially women’s) actual preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/25 10:50 PM
7

Women genuinely think men should prefer to be the guy who has to date a woman for six months before making love to her over the guy who bangs her an hour after meeting her. I don’t get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/25 12:05 AM
3

This is a big one that women frequently fail to understand. No guy is going to care if you are a business owner or if you’re a lawyer, if your personality is also garbage. It’d be nice, but men don’t actually look for that in their criteria. Especially if other criteria haven’t been met.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/25 12:02 AM

Would you rather date a man who takes every girl he dated for at least a month on a trip to Paris, or do you want to date a man who you know took women he knew for a month to Paris but wants to make you wait at least a year (if at all) and then he’ll see how he feels?

But... If I did come to have this kind of information and I found out that a girlfriend did all kinds of things to please a former boyfriend/lover it would affect me. How could it not? … But people also verge into serious gaslighting territory on this when they just flat out say it doesn't matter. Anybody would have a reaction to this (mostly hypothetical) situation if this came up. Not necessarily about sex but about something that, to them, is a meaningful way for a partner to express to them …

So men should also be doxed as a means of accountability? …They already were being doxed on Tea. That Tea got spilled on the women users who downloaded the app and were propping it up is accountability and just desserts.

They would never do that because it would expose half of them as having horrible skin. Most men don’t take great care of their face but most women often don’t look that great without their makeup and favorable lighting either. It creates the idea of a “looks gap” between men and women.

Being bald isn’t a deal-breaker if you’re white or black and over 30. From what I’ve seen women are actually ok with bald and overweight if you can carry it off as looking powerful. Think Hank or Walter in Breaking Bad. Wish I had that advantage. If you’re Asian you’re fucked. You’re either the Dalai Lama or the creepy Asian guy in Dexter. Hoping that I don’t lose my hair when I’m older.

I think I shoot comfortably within my league but from my experience it’s dumpier women who seem more picky and discriminating about men’s body types and attractiveness. I’m thin as a rail btw. Makes me wonder if chubbier women are insecure about dating thin men.

It’s looks-based. They like guys who look like the bad boy. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11565045/amp/Ashley-Gabbie-allegedly-met-Cranebrook-murder-victim-Dannielle-Finlay-Jones-Bumble-dating-app.html This is another good example where the dude was living with his mom but had no trouble getting a date because he fit the attractive bad boy archetype.

I wish I could mind-read so I could see the logic of this. It just baffles me. I probably have red flags of my own but it baffles me that some men are able to get away with murder and other men get nothing at all. I’ve gone on dates with at least 2 women who said their fiancé cheated and also took the wedding/house deposit they had saved together. I think at least one of them immediately moved on to being in a relationship with the girl he cheated with. The only way to square it away is that the…

Women care a lot about personality and identity. A fat guy who will be a good provider and protect his family is attractive to woman. Bullshit lol. That was true in 1955 and probably true up to 2005 but that’s not the case anymore unless they met in high school and he’s the only man she’s ever been with, or she’s just as overweight as he is. I don’t know any Peter and Lois/Homer and Marge couples. If they are out there it’s because he’s probably rich or the CEO of his own business, not because h…

women tend to have dating struggles tied to vetting and wasting their time on bad partners, not necessarily due to high standards. They have high standards for the wrong things imo. None of my male friends who are/were single are the kinds of guys who would do the things I hear women complain about but you ask women and that’s all they experience. But most of my friends also have white-collar office/computer jobs and have nerdy interests. At some point you have to ask what kinds of guys are they…

Do you think prime Selena Gomez's face is ugly? She’s definitely not ugly, but not notable either. If she was a nobody walking down the street I’m not sure I would do a double-take of her. I still get straight dudes somehow "matched" with me even if he didn't come up in my feed at all. That’s the app’s fault. I’ve been shown gay men, non-binary people, trans women and queer-identifying women even though I only selected Women to be shown and put that I’m straight. If you’re getting likes from men as a lesbian woman it might be because the app is showing you to men and the men think you’re bi. Or you ticked the wrong box on what you identify as.

I was talking with a married girl on Hinge last week and probably could have had something casual but her TikTok revealed she had a kid and then I got the ick. Everything about dating is confusing. The single women in their 20s don’t want to date men their own age, I get more consistent attention and conversations from women who are 8-10 years older. The nerdy women who have nerdy interests don’t want to date nerdy men, and married women want to fuck men who aren’t their husbands. Whenever someo…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/24 02:44 PM

Men settling/dating down is just as bad imo. It’s bad but it makes me laugh and makes me feel better. I was talking to a girl on Hinge last week who said she was in an open marriage and I considered suggesting a meet-up but then I looked up her TikTok and saw she also had a kid which gave me the ick. Her partner wasn’t bad looking but he was out of shape. I don’t get how people in a marriage with a kid could be ok with that. I was probably messaging her while her husband and kid were in the room…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/24 02:37 PM

I agree it's likely always been like this. It was harder to do before. There was lack of information and barriers to doing it pre-2000s and now they’re all gone. The market didn’t have perfect information. Now it has almost perfect information and we see people’s true preferences.

Exactly. If you’re a Chad then not having a job or living with your parents / 5 room-mates or constantly borrowing money from your gf and cheating on her is not seen as a deal-breaker the way it is for a Normie. I’ve dated women who were Alpha-widowed/been with Chad. It’s just eye-opening when you hear the behavior and the things they put up with from the previous guy, because they were attracted to him so they were willing to put up with it. They’ll act like they’re performing charity for going…

How is that mathematically possible? Are many women dating men a decade older than them? Yes, among other things. That’s what the numbers suggest. I’ve dated women who were younger than me, women who were bisexual and one woman who said she’d been in a non-monogamous relationships before. To me this would imply women have many more relationship options than men. If you’re not rich or a celebrity you need to be tall and handsome. And if you’re tall and handsome then you don’t need to be rich or have high social status. It’s just the average guy is obviously not going to be a millionaire or famous so they need to be above-average in looks.

It’s amazing to me that women will complain it’s “overwhelming” yet they could choose to swipe less and only talk to 1-2 guys, but instead they do the exact opposite. I honestly believe dating apps should be redesigned to allow women to only have 2-3 matches at a time and then I’d be interested to see if it increases engagement and success of matches.

This as well. Age isn’t a number when it comes to fertility. There’s a point where it becomes biological reality. Hugh Jackman and his wife adopted their children because the fertility treatments for his wife’s pregnancies weren’t working and she kept miscarrying. They’re also millionaire Hollywood celebrities. They had the resources to pursue this, and they couldn’t do it. Maybe the technology’s better now but you’re fighting against biology to make the pregnancy viable. I just don’t understand…

Maybe it’s the negativity they project and verbalize. Although from my own personal experience that negativity and bitterness is mainly from older white women. The most Red Pill comments I’ve ever heard IRL came from older (40+ and 50s) single white women.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 03:20 AM

Most women under 30 are pretty influencable though. They’re obsessed with Instagram and TikTok, and influencers.

Sure. I’d also add just because a man asks you out doesn’t mean he thinks he’s exactly as attractive as you are. But maybe he thinks taken as a whole person he has a shot. That’s not delusional and is actually representative of Blue Pill ideas of how dating works. Although yeah I don’t think fat men should be picky. There’s no reason to be overweight with all the information and resources we have now, unless the person has a severe hormonal problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 09:47 AM

I've heard of something in evo-pysch that is well verified called "sexual over-perception", where males over-perceive their sexual attractiveness to the opposite sex. I mean they can say that but I believe most modern men who have been single in the last 5 years have a pretty accurate idea of their attractiveness to the opposite sex.

That’s probably true actually. I’ve had a lot of time wasted by women who were just looking for validation or their idea of dating was men making every single move or they were just on there out of boredom.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 07:17 PM

Yeah that’s what I meant. Because the comment I was responding to said that there are unattractive men with girlfriends/partners/wives. And that’s true. But I would bet the women they’re with, didn’t have other options that were better. Or evidently they would do better than the guy they ended up with. And I put forward my theories/reasons for that.

Did Alan even show any desire or interest toward Barbie? It teaches young girls that they can have a platonic relationship with the shy nerdy boy and it won’t blow up in their face (I.e. she just wants to be friends and he falls in love) It was a mostly women-centered movie anyway. As if it would have some message like that. I say that having liked and enjoyed the movie.

This is why conservatives prefer traditional gender roles. I think on a deeper level they think it’s more socially stable and benefits/reinforces the family unit as a whole and to be honest I’m starting to see the wisdom of that. I didn’t grow up in a traditional nuclear family and as an adult I feel nostalgic for that. I don’t think people should be locked together in a shitty marriage but I don’t really have any good argument that single parenthood is a desirable thing for the child or society…

I like left-wing and leftist women… but I’ve definitely noticed they also tend to prefer more traditionally masculine men. I’m not saying they love mouth-breathing Trumpers but they don’t particularly love liberal men either, unless the guy is a hunk and happens to hold generally liberal views.

I reckon that you could design an app that overcomes the issues but it would need to treat women, average and below-average men, and above-average men all very differently. I have ideas for that. Like ultimately restrict the choice for women. Let’s say they can only have two or three active chats at a time, and can’t swipe or have another chat initiated. I’d bet all the money in my pockets the only type A women who date incompetent men are women who are shooting out of their league looks-wise. Most women don’t put up with crap from average-looking, incompetent men. Unless they actually love them, or they know the man is physically out of their league because he’s the better-looking one.

Have you not seen houses where the woman is in complete charge and the man is more or less like a child? I don't know if some men truly are just slaves to their biology, but I have a feeling that a lot of men get their self-worth from the flat number of women they can sleep with. More like, most women’s standards are so inflated that most men can’t get with a woman who’s supposed to be his match. So a man who’s an 8 can either spend months chasing women who are 8s or he can get with a 5 in one weekend who sees him as the catch.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 04:55 PM

Like I think the takeaway you’re meant to have from these shows isn’t that the wives should leave their husbands, it’s that they should stay with them because despite everything deep down they’re good people. I don’t think you could pull that with an unattractive oafish selfish female character. I think Roseanne might be the only show I can think of where they successfully did it with a female character. But that’s the only example I can think of.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 11:25 AM

23-33 is probably the male prime Maybe for looks but for the overall package I seem to recall that mens’ peak desirability to women is at like age 45.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 04:22 PM

Yeah, like look at Henry Cavill and Jason Momoa, and compare them to when they were 20. They were good-looking but age gave them more distinguished looks. Or George Clooney at 50 vs. 25.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 04:20 PM

all men will start declining at 45.) Eh. There’s like a minority of men that get even hotter up to a certain age. Like compare 55-year-old George Clooney to 30-year-old George Clooney. Provided they didn’t get portly I think a lot of men benefit from having some age and lines on their face.

What if it was like Bill Gates or Elon Musk hitting on you in a bar or at a conference. Be careful what you wish for.

Women just have to exist, men have to be far more attractive than the average man and also average to above-average in other non-physical attributes. That’s honestly my experience… I’ve been rejected by unemployed women, women who couldn’t drive, women who only finished high school or dropped out, and women who live with their parents (and more than one of the above). Any one of those would be a complete deal-breaker to 99% of women unless you were an 8/10 man or higher in looks.

Those things aren’t necessarily contradictory. Every other day there’s a thread on /r/relationships or relationship_advice with some girl asking why the guy she’s sleeping with isn’t taking things to the next level to formalize their relationship. I’m a teacher in an upper middle class area . I always find that the fathers of my students always seem more attractive than the mothers. But this is ONLY if both parents are working… Do you have a personal theory for why this is the case?

How often do you see relationships where the man is significantly more attractive than the woman? Someone I knew from work - their boyfriend was a lot more conventionally attractive than they were as a woman. She was kind of average-looking (not a girl you would look twice at) but was over-weight. But she had a 10/10 personality so I see why he went with her. And he probably had more leverage in the relationship as a tall conventionally attractive white guy.

I’ll add clarification that I think certain kinds of ugly guys can get women if they’re seen as dangerous or tough. Or if you’re short - ok if you look like Robert Downey Jr., Tom Cruise, or Tom Holland? You might be ok. Because you have an attractive face. But a standard ugly or short guy - he has no hope.

many men struggle because they will still refuse to give chubbier women a chance. Depends on how you define chubby. Women tend to be more lenient on the line between chubby and fat/obese than men IMO. Like most men would consider Lizzo obese but most women would consider her chubby or curvy. I like chubby and curvy but I’ve gone on dates with women who struggled to keep up and got winded just walking down the street at normal walking pace.

That’s different because Billie Eilish is someone those girls are actually following. No one under 30 gives a shit about Leonardo DiCaprio. right....but you'd only be settling....if you had more attractive women trying to give you the time of day, you would pick them instead... Are you a woman saying this trying to dunk on me? Weight doesn’t really matter for me up to a certain point. I’ve dated chubby girls and I’ve dated girls on the more normal/thinner side. I find girls with a bit of chub probably more attractive sexually. As long as whatever girl I’m with doesn’t have like a pot-belly with A-cup boobs and wants to have sex more…

From my experience that’s bullshit and the only women not having sex are those who are basically asexual or religious conservative. /r/PurplePillDebate12/01/23 01:21 PM

I’ve met women who have lots of sex. They just seem to be really choosy about who they have it with. Not even in terms of wealth or class or status, they often know even if it’s something casual they’ll get a good-looking guy who is charming enough and that’s all they need from their perspective. And a lot of those girls also go for non-monogamy/polyamory. So they get the pick of the men they want and the men have no leverage. It’s just interesting when you meet more women into polyamory than me…

Is the 35 year old still going to get more attractive women than the 20 year old? Or is he banging older women that are also attractive? The 35 year old just had more options so he has more to work with. Maybe some of those women are hot but they were hotter 10 years ago. Objectively speaking? Most people who are no ideological will agree that most women (i.e. who aren’t Meryl Streep or Cassandra Peterson or whatever) don’t tend to get more physically attractive with age. Most women age just as …

For context I'm a 22 year old male about to turn 23. Some people would say I'm in my prime and will hit my peak at 28. If you’re 22 you’re not in your prime unless you’re Harry Styles or look like Henry Cavill.

I’ve been on way too many dates with women in their 20s who have had at least one shithead/narcissist boyfriend/ex-fiancé. In a lot of cases they’re still hung up on the guy. I really can’t get my head around people like that are able to slide in and out of relationships and I’m stuck with the wrecked women treating their dates with me as therapy sessions.

Okay I dress completely down. I wear plain clothes I’m comfortable in (nothing sexy), no make up either. I get zero attention from men. Do you know the type of women who get a bunch of attention from men? Are you overweight? Do you have greasy hair/face? I mean I’ve met some really plain/ordinary-looking women who don’t plaster themselves with make-up and they have boyfriends/husbands.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 10:52 PM

I mean that fits the idea that most (i.e., 80% or possibly more) men are Betas/Blue Pills who only ever have 1 or 2 women interested in them in their entire lives. Their attractiveness increases around the time they hit 30 when women hit the wall and those women who aren't dumb find a suitable chair before the music stops.

That having children at 40 is going to be a breeze. It just isn’t true. Hugh Jackman and his wife adopted after his wife mis-carried multiple times. She’s 12 years older than him and he was obviously fertile and rich. Smoothness is also just a coded word for how much the girl wants to fuck him. And the reality is most women know that before the guy even opens his mouth. I’ve been on that side of it where women openly admitted they said yes to going out with me because they thought I looked cute and that was it. Nothing about what my interests were or what kind of person I seemed like. Women drool over a guy like Henry Cavill because of his face and body, not because of how much he loves World of Warcraft and …
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/22 03:27 PM

Smoothness is kind of irrelevant. You can act like a jackass as long as you’ve got the looks to pull it off. I’ve dated women who told me horror stories about their exes. I didn’t get to see pictures of them but the only thing I could conclude is that they put those guys on a pedestal and they must’ve been pretty good-looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/22 03:23 PM
2

I’m kind of average in looks and I’ve been in bed with a girl on the first date a couple times. When a woman really likes how you look, you’re starting from a point where anything goes until you say or do something to fuck it up. It really makes you look at things differently when other women want to drag it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/22 02:59 PM

I’d bet all the money in my pockets that she’s obese, below-average in looks, or has emotional issues. Guys probably don’t approach her or she doesn’t have an active social circle. She got “cat-fished” by an Autistic guy, sounds like she’s not exactly that bright or she’s desperate.

There will be excuses that women mature and their tastes in men change but really I think it shows they’re no less shallow than most men. Their standards literally drop to the floor if you pass their looks threshold but none of them will openly admit it.

So, what convinced you that redpill ideas are valid? I think experiences I’ve had IRL just confirm the things I’ve read. "Men" as a demographic don't really have any crazy advantage if you're a good person. If you're "live fast die young" type of guy with no morals, then it's extremely easy. If you put together a facade that's only supposed to last for 2-4 weeks max, you basically already won. Women, contrary to popular belief, DO NOT have built in sensors to detect if you have ulterior motives. You could lie, cheat, steal, get women pregnant, leave the kid, and just be a general piece of shit and there will ALWAY…

OLD sucks but in hindsight I’ve managed to date hotter women who were out of my league from apps compared to IRL.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/22 03:25 PM

I was told nothing in particular except for that appearance does not matter to men. I remember my mom saying “a man should be a little bit more handsome than a monkey, it’s enough”. For your mother and father’s generation that was probably true.

Those women are too feminist and woke to admit that what appeals to a woman is rarely ever what appeals to a man. Yes a smart woman can be attractive. Yes education can be attractive. No, you being a lawyer and another girl being a waitress doesn’t make you inherently better than her, not in his eyes.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/22 03:37 PM

This is what I’ve read on Reddit even with women who find him attractive. They feel like a pervert for thinking he’s good-looking because he looks so young.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/22 01:06 AM
3

But I'll also date someone shorter or taller, skinnier or fatter, with blone hair or blue eyes. In America, men don't give much in terms of appearance, so striving for much of anything in men asthetically isn't going to work. Men in America are very very plain. …Compared to European men?

A woman with a 40+ BMI would need a stomach staple and cosmetic surgery. When you’re that fat you’re basically a lost cause.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 11:56 PM

I think it’s supposed to be a “gotcha” about body count to prove that it doesn’t matter or that the men here are hypocrites. I think in hypothetical terms body count wouldn’t matter to me if I had guarantees it meant no-one in her past would come back and that I’d be treated the same as the previous guys and she wouldn’t cheat on me, but there’s no guarantee of that IRL.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 11:54 PM

Sounds like lot of those women need therapy and blame men for everything wrong in their lives. Imagine going through your own life thinking you have that little agency about the men you end up in relationships with.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 11:16 PM
2

B and D aren’t acceptable partners. I choose A as a partner and accept her past given that she’s up-front about it and in this hypothetical scenario I’m given a guarantee she won’t cheat and she’s not Alpha Widowed. Typical Stacy’s aren’t actually my physical type though.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 11:10 PM

Amber Heard could probably have gotten away with that and all her other shit if she was fucking an uglier guy than Johnny Depp.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 01:31 PM

I mean that’s not unlikely. Your partners must be very handsome and/or they’re fuckboys or both. There’s no way around it. I literally don’t know anyone who’s actually managed to get a new partner the next day, if you don’t include high school.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 04:06 AM

I think if the relationship’s fucked it’s ok for him to do that but I wouldn’t do that with just any girl unless she gave clear signs she wasn’t relationship material.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 04:04 AM
3

She torpedoed her chances of re-kindling the relationship when she fucked a guy the next day and he torpedoed whatever future relations he had with her by not holding frame. The correct thing he should have done is not reach out and find someone else, or play it cool and approach her about trying again but don’t commit and treat her like shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 03:27 AM

Only in an American sitcom could a guy like Ross get a girl like Rachel. If they existed IRL they’d have nothing to do with each other except as friends.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/22 03:55 PM
47

I can actually understand the reasoning behind why a woman would want to make a man she sees a future relationship with wait for sex. Here’s the thing though… unless they’re asexual, women don’t make guys who they think are really hot and want to actually have sex with, wait for it. With the right guy, they want it just as much as a man wants it. Any woman who thinks you’re really fuckable is going to remove barriers to that happening. I haven’t been cash-strapped in a long time so maybe that’s biased me. But basic ingredients to make healthy, nutritious food aren’t expensive. You don’t need to buy very expensive designer clothes to get stuff that fits right and looks nice. There are hobbies that don’t require spending thousands of dollars. The main things are having money for a car and a place to live but if you’re good-looking enough neither of those things is a deal-breaker. You don’t even need to be intelligent or well-rea…

That demographic is highly desired and representative of a Stacy-type. If a guy like what OP described locked down a girl like that who’s cute and not morbidly obese then he’s gone against Red Pill dating predictions. But a guy like that just having a girlfriend doesn’t invalidate the Red Pill.

All of my friends are middle-class and/or white collar but a couple of my sister’s ex-boyfriends fit that description. But then again they managed to get a gf without a stable job or money while living at home so really by virtue of having a woman want to be with them they must have some value.

I’d rather be broke but the best-looking guy in any room I walk into than average or ugly and the wealthiest guy. You don’t need a lot to get by. Good nutrition is cheap. A good wardrobe can be accumulated over time. There are hobbies that aren’t expensive. If you’re good-looking enough you don’t even need a job or to be living alone to have a girl over. Being good-looking is basically playing on Easy mode.

Uhhh Asian men, short men, and black women are three of the least desirable demographics in the dating market according to statistics taken from dating websites and apps. That honestly fits right in with some of the Red Pill beliefs I have. or does it not count since it wasn’t a white lady? I’d honestly say come back when he has a white gf with blonde hair. If those people do it en masse then it does have an effect on the dating market. There are certainly a lot less marriage-minded men the older they get. I’ve seen and heard stuff complaining about it that 35+ year old women can’t find men who want a serious relationship, they’re either all snapped up in stable relationships or they’re commitment-phobes.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/22 03:17 PM

I’m an average guy who met a girl (fat, below-average face) this year who wanted me to raw dog her 10 minutes after meeting her. If a woman thinks you’re hot you can get away with anything.

Yeah I looked up this TV actress who I thought was hot when I was 15 the other day and she did not age well at all. She gained weight and especially her neckline and face looked puffed up and with more fat. I would tap it while drunk but yeah she did not age well.

Not as often as people think. I feel certain that every woman who I’ve ever gone out with had at least found me fuckable on appearance alone. It’s when I show up and open my mouth that I fuck up.

My dad’s second wife is a regularly church-attending Christian and I have awareness that they had a healthy sex life at least in their 40s. Just because a woman follows traditional gender roles doesn’t mean she doesn’t want sex.

I’m in my late twenties and don’t know any men my age or in my whole life who were childless and then became a step-father. It is a pretty damn uncommon thing. The few step-fathers I knew were single fathers after their first marriage ended, not childless bachelors.

The men I knew growing up who were willing to be step-fathers were typically older than 35 and had already had their own children in their first marriage. I think another factor is the guy finding out she had a wild past and she wasn’t up-front about it, and their current sex life being lackluster. I have my own ideas of what men should do and be but that honestly doesn’t align with things I’ve seen and heard out in the world. Maintain your current friendships and put effort and energy into them. Look to make new friends and expand your social circle. A number of years ago I just took the mindset I should say yes to anything people invite me to. Get interesting hobbies that gives you small-talk potential. Take care of your health and eat better. Take care of the way you look. People who get married and have kids or stay in LTRs tend to be more fallible to letting themselves go. Don’t get fat and take care of your body…

A lot of single men don’t have that option and a lot of women would prefer to do it themselves if they can’t get their dream man as a partner or FWB.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/22 03:12 AM

For women who have a compatible mindset I don’t think it would suck. But they have to be ok with being the more submissive one and letting a man lead. My grandma from my extended family was happy with that. But her husband wasn’t a piece of shit either. It can work but it needs both partners to be fully aware of all their responsibilities and to be giving their 100% for the relationship. /r/PurplePillDebate08/05/22 03:03 AM

This just reinforces my belief that a lot of women would rather date a high-value conservative man than an average liberal feminist lol. If you can make up for it in other areas then politics becomes irrelevant. Do you and your partner argue about abortion and Roe v. Wade?

It’s a covert way of ending sex within the marriage. If the guy wants sex badly enough he’ll use a condom. No guy would go indefinitely without sex if the alternative was using a condom every time. This whole thing is stupid. I’m pro-choice but framing it as “sex with the ability to get an abortion or no sex at all” is retarded. Y’all never heard of condoms, birth control, IUDs, vasectomies?

I don’t really go out of my way to make friends with women or girls but I don’t see the harm in being friends with them as long as you’re not attracted or hoping for anything to happen. You can learn a heck of a lot about women’s behavior from them and what makes them tick, and it provides social validation. Women will hang out with alphas and betas but they don’t hang out with creeps. Other women see you with them and you look like a viable option.

In summary, as long as a woman is not overweight, they will always be playing the dating game on easy mode. Women in their mid to late thirties start getting a lot more frantic about finding a guy to lock down though. There seems to come a point where they realize not all attention is good and just because they have 100 Tinder matches doesn’t mean any of them want to go out to dinner with her or meet her parents or come with her to her bullshit social outgoings. Women are social creatures. When …

I’m actually pro-choice but I think if the woman has all the say, the bio father should have the choice of signing away all custody and visitation rights under the law if they want all child support obligations waived. I’m not a particularly religious or conservative guy but if women want to have a deadbeat’s kid out of wedlock that’s their choice to be a dumb-ass.

Condoms make guys last longer because it doesn’t feel as good, so she wants sex with him last longer than it does with you. If a woman wants it in her NOW and doesn’t give a shit if you’re wearing a condom, that says a lot about how much she likes you.

It sucks but the upside is as a man you have nowhere to go but up now. Some people’s lives peak at 20 and then they wallow in mediocrity and under-achievement for the next 50 years of their life.

I like the whole transgenders in sports things cuz it screws over women and in some cases makes them reexamine their stupid bullshit about gender. Men don't really have to worry about some woman transitioning and kicking anyone's ass. It is pretty funny. Men are better at competing as women than women are. I identify as socially liberal/libertarian but it’s fun watching leftist SJWs eat each other over the issue of trans-women in competitive sports.

The only thing women’s sexual selection criteria will select for is for men to be worthless peacocks. Men will have zero incentive to do anything but peacock in the mating game, so that is all they will do. Women will find less and less “real men” and more and more fuckboys. I’ve been to dating events and I have friend groups with very diverse demographics. Almost all the women in the groups who are 40 or over are single. Single men over 40 seem to all be taken and most of the women have given up on finding a partner. Meanwhile most of the men under 35 I know are single. There’s definitely a point where things seem to flip and men become more valued in dating closer to 35-40.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/22 05:08 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/22 01:11 AM

It tells so much about the men they dated in the past that they even think a scenario like that is realistic. I have met women like that and they are not attracted to men who are actually men who can provide for themselves and don’t financially take advantage of women. But they’re typically in their twenties or younger, still going through their “bad boy” phase.

I don’t get what’s abnormal or weird or a red flag about a 32-year-old man who doesn’t want to be with a 24-year-old virgin woman. Are people here really that cynical or short-sighted?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 04:02 PM

Most women his age would ghost a virgin man her age. It’s not that weird. IMO the guy seems pretty normal. He realised they weren’t right for each other and broke it off. If this guy was a walking red flag he’d have had sex with her and then ghosted. Instead he broke it off. It seems like a pretty normal reaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 04:01 PM
1

As someone who is new to dating, help me understand, why being a virgin would be a turn off? I’m not team wait for marriage; I just haven’t gotten around to it yet (which I mentioned). What is the ideal number for a woman to have? If you flipped the sexes around here, no one would even question why a 32-year-old woman would dump a 24-year-old virgin man.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 03:58 PM
1

For example, blowjobs are pretty much expected as part of foreplay while a man going down on a woman is more “optional.” It’s optional if a woman makes it optional. If you tell a guy you want him to go down on you and he doesn’t, dump him and block him. It’s not rocket science. Women don’t do this because they know HVMs they date can get it elsewhere if they make it a requirement.

So because they chose bad relationships and wasted years of their life with guys who weren’t LTR material, now it’s a Blue Pill guy/Beta Bux’s responsibility to wife her up and father children in less than two years of dating because she suddenly real…

This is a quote that needs to be in a book or something, this shit is profound. I’d add that an attractive man who was ugly when he was growing up can still feel resentment that he went through that difficult period.

You’re the only person on here besides me who’s questioned the results of the survey on the basis of age lol. And some people here don’t seem to get that. Not shit someone’s 45-year-old mother or 70-year-old grandmother has a n-count of less than 10. But no one gives a fuck about that because that’s not what’s being talked about.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/22 05:24 PM

I think most men are worried about the n-counts of the hot women they're extremely attracted to. Pretty much all of those women have n-counts north of 20. I know very few stunningly beautiful women who haven't gotten around a bit. From my experience the girls with the highest n-counts are overweight and/or have a below-average face.

In addition they seem to think we use sex as a coping mechanism for everything. Fight with boyfriend? She's sleeping with someone else within the hour. Boss yell at her? She's sleeping with someone within the hour. Sad? Lonely? Bored? Bang, bang, bang. There’s a lot of men who have actually experienced this. Fight with a girlfriend leads to them running off to an orbiter they keep on the hook for comfort.

Depends how old you are and what your upbringing was. If you’re a 5’6” 18 year old and you don’t have good game or a handsome face you’re probably fucked. If you’re older than 30 then you’re theoretically old enough to remember a time when dating apps didn’t dominate the scene.

Women didn't want to fuck unattractive/short/fat/bald guys in 1978 -- same as now. Those guys at least had a chance of settling down with their looksmatch. Women didn’t have such an inflated view of their own attractiveness until about 5-7 years ago.

I have complained that women seem weirdly attracted to guys who are selfish either because of the way they look or the way they act. They can be with them if they want but don’t complain that he’s selfish in bed lol. Women will whine about the guy that they’re with but not consider that they should get with a guy who doesn’t treat them like crap.

Remember that whole Aziz Ansari scandal where a woman accused him of pressuring her into sex she didn’t feel she wanted to have. It’s kind of dumb it’s seen as the man’s fault for assuming she’s sexually interested in him if she agrees to go back to his place after dinner and she doesn’t say anything verbally about not wanting to have sex with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/22 09:53 PM

And if okcupid’s study is true, that means too many male 3s think they deserve female 7s. Men shoot their shot because they can, not because they think that’s what they’re entitled to and deserve. Men aren’t like women who think they’re entitled to relationships with only the people they find most desirable.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/22 09:49 PM

How does that make any statistical sense? Some women are just dumb and ignorant and easily influenced. They’ll “have sex” with a man if he doesn’t take their No as an answer and then later complain they got raped. I mean technically yeah but who’s responsibility was it that you put yourself in a vulnerable position where you felt you couldn’t say no. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I think porn over-use is a bad thing but women also literally don’t seem to understand average single men will go through dry spells of months or years. All of the problems with achieving good sex get put on to men. And then we get these Reddit posts that the guy they just started dating isn’t good at sex because he didn’t last very long or he had trouble staying hard the whole time. They ignore the red flags and I know that from talking to several women (multiple women I’ve dated, plus my sister) it’s a pattern of repeated behavior within the same men and across different men. They’ll forgive and ignore things until eventually the man leaves them for the other woman he was cheating with or it reaches a crisis point where it’s not safe for her to stay with him. They pick attractive men and/or men with personality disorders that make them attractive and then complain their boyfriend doesn’t make an effort to wipe their own ass or do dishes. They say the bar is so low and yet from women I’ve dated IRL the stories they tell, they’d prefer a boyfriend who cheats and literally steals from them over a guy who doesn’t. Modern women are broken.

It would not surprise me if, at any given time, 20% or more of the women on Tinder have a personality disorder of some kind. Most men come across them from time to time, and experience of them can distort their view of what normal women are like. Last year I met one of the most outgoing/extroverted women I’ve ever met, and one of the most introverted women I’ve ever met, within a month of each other. I think most women get this dynamic from very young so they see it that way and can't even fathom the frustration and unhappiness being "bad at dating" can mean to a guy. They go on with the "just have some hobbies" "enjoy your friends and family" etc., they just can't see how that frustration can eat your whole life as you see your self esteem crumble before you.
