There were a lot of female Soviet soldiers, and officers. Towards the end of BBC's documentary "The World at War" they interviewed a female veteran who had a decent rank. I do not know if they were conscripted however.

I think this is a little extreme. If all they did was marry the animals but not actually commit any other crime then I think they should be locked away until they rot. If they otherwise engaged in acts of terror then hang them by the neck until dead.
