They ask stupidly biased questions, then they cherry-pick this or that fraction of an answer out of 50 and make a headline out of it, and write a whole fucking article that ignores everything else in the interview and is based solely on this one sentence that they took out of context to make it fit their narrative.

At the same time, the potential public for a license-based video game is usually the movie's public. In this case, the people who liked the movie seem (from the echoes we get online) to be mostly feminists and SJWs in general, and it's been frequently argued that while feminists and SJWs really love to write about video games, they aren't big video game consumers. Obviously the bankruptcy doesn't have much to do with that, and even if it did, it's kind of a stretch to call that "pussypassdenied"…

She's not being fired for her opinions. If she had kept her opinions to herself, she would still have a job. If internally I'm the worst misogynistic racist transphobic gay-hating piece of shit on the planet but I keep my mouth (and keyboard) shut about it, no one is going to fire me.
