Just saying, 40 isnt that old. Has this sub been taken over by the red pill?

Sounds kind of like the reverse white knight conundrum. Where the men with nothing to offer but the fact that they wont beat them think women should be beating down their door.

40 year olds dont have cobwebs, are you 12?

Well, this is one good thing that Trump is doing, but I wish it wasnt Trump doing it. I feel like people will not see the light because they will refuse to believe Trump is doing a good thing.

But what about the guy who dies without a new liver? Is that scenario any less real just because it's more passive? Death by inaction is just as much murder as death by action is. If I'm carrying a gun and see a guy with his gun pulled out attacking someone should I not be as guilty for not stopping it? Should a woman with no support from parents or the father on minimum wage be forced to carry to term? Should a woman who would die from the pregnancy be forced to? I agree that abortions because …

I want to give a father of 4 the right to an available and otherwise useless kidney before I give a fetus the right to own a persons body for 9 months with the potential of killing her. Especially since the vast majority of abortions are because of medical or financial reasons. Also adoption's not much of an option. The amount of abuse that happens in state care is staggering if you look into it.

The typical conservative isnt on Reddit. They're glued to fox news and reposting the patriot journal on Facebook.

Someone who died needing a kidney because some asshole decided their corpse needed it more. That issue needs to go away before we discuss taking away reproductive rights.

You honestly believe faslely accusing someone of rape shouldnt be a crime? Fuck you.
/r/MensRights09/07/17 05:34 PM

I dont like abortions but it comes down to the concept of bodily autonomy to me. If we can say that we dont want to donate organs, we dont have to. But a living person should HAVE to carry? It makes no sense to try to give women less control over their bodies than we give corpses. The end result is the same, someone dies.

Thats the worst part, the ACLU says some dumb shit like that and it completely undermines all the good work they do. Expecially with your typical tunnel vision black and white conservative. They'll latch on to it and say "see? Everything they say and do is wrong and they hate the police"

Meant the red pill sub, but another guy did clarify that the movie isnt nearly as bad.
/r/MensRights07/05/17 11:59 AM

Don't know anything about the movie, but if it's anything like the subreddit then I really don't want to see it. In my mind it's a 100% free speech issue, not a mens rights issue. The red pill is to mens rights what radical feminism is to traditional feminism. It's the kind of testosterone spewing bullshit that would hurt our cause in the minds of the mainstream public.

Just enough that he can't get an erection? How is that supposed to work? Also though if what she says is true that man is an asshole. I don't really see this as a mens rights issue though, she did a horrible thing, has been convicted of it, and will be in prison when they find her. There's no discrimination or victim blaming, even though this victim does deserve a little bit of the blame here.
/r/MensRights06/03/17 03:07 PM

I see what you're saying but it's not really the same thing. If you have clinical depression hobbies will not make you feel better. If you have problems asking a girl out, just asking her would be very difficult but would have the result he claims. I'm where you are, I have a lot of trouble being forward, but it is that simple. Simple is not the same as easy.

Thank you, so many people think normal is some kind of bigoted term.

/r/MensRights26/10/16 08:31 PM

He raised her for 11 years, and even said he doesn't care about paying as much as he just wants to see her again. That being said though I'm a lot more offended that he isn't allowed to see her but must pay. I feel like unless there was jail time that should never be the situation a man is in.
/r/MensRights26/10/16 10:12 AM
-2

He'd have to file for adoption first, and good luck getting that. It's so sad though, yeah sure she's technically not his daughter, but you don't just raise someone and then feel nothing for them.
/r/MensRights26/10/16 10:10 AM

Oh yeah, I know so rude. Saying "no thanks" is such an unreasonable hassle that they just should never have to deal with.

/r/MensRights27/07/16 03:36 PM
1

No it isn't. I don't make assumptions about things I don't have any information on. It's not even a "standard" it's just the normal behavior of a sane human.
/r/MensRights28/06/16 07:11 PM
1

No, the point that I was trying to make is to not make any assumptions at all. Unless you're the prosecutor then you really have no idea what is going on, except that she's been charged.
/r/MensRights28/06/16 04:53 PM
1

Yeah, I'm aware that someone who is eventually found guilty was really guilty all along, I didn't spell that out because I assumed the reader would already be aware of that information. In fact it's very common knowledge. The point I was trying to make is that you, some random person on the internet, can't possibly have enough information to know whether or not she is guilty. This means you should wait for the courts to go over the information they have and make their decision. And yeah innocent…
/r/MensRights28/06/16 03:30 PM
20

She actually is innocent until proven guilty. Just like male rapists that we on this sub believe shouldn't be paraded around on media until convicted.
/r/MensRights27/06/16 02:43 PM
2

So a father rapes his daughter and the state takes her to foster care, was he abused now by having her "stolen" from him?
/r/MensRights08/06/16 02:15 PM
2

So maybe we go and find a willing 13 year old girl and start a sexual relationship with her and it wont be rape, right? Or does that logic only apply to boys? Also the necessity for drugs is obvious implication that they weren't willing participants anyway.
/r/MensRights08/06/16 02:13 PM
3

That fits my guidelines perfectly, I thought I was being pretty generous with saying "children that they know" being childless but also part of a very large inclusive family it seemed like the right phrasing.
/r/MensRights15/05/16 06:01 PM
5

No, not a crime but generally if you have a picture with kids you'd want to have some kids you know in the shot with them.

I feel like that should be a crime.

I need to meet a woman like you guys. Also I'm sure it feels like 100% with him if he's working so much that 50/50 is hard, my roommate has a job like that only the mother is out to sea right now, he's been struggling to make his schedule work as a single dad with a 2 year old but I think he's getting the hang of it.
/r/MensRights11/05/16 06:20 PM

He just doesn't understand the difference between feminism and modern feminism. Most of the people commenting here are feminists even though it's become a bit of a bad word. Lol.
/r/MensRights11/05/16 05:58 PM
2

That's an inaccurate analogy, as women are more likely to use weapons and are not really that much weaker than men on average. Making an analogy that disparate is a bit sexist too. Recognizing the physical differences between men and women is different from flat out calling them weak and helpless.
/r/MensRights09/05/16 12:23 PM
11

Nobody here wants to turn the argument to look only at male victims, obviously the 13% of women is alarming and awful too. All we want is recognition that men need help too.
/r/MensRights08/05/16 11:14 PM
116

Shitty either way. Woman generally can't defend herself and the man wont because he'll be the one charged. Wish more people would just teach their kids not to hit people, not just the boys not to hit women.
/r/MensRights08/05/16 05:40 PM
6

Would you ask that question if it was a 16 year old girl? I'm sure you wouldn't have to look very far to find a 16 year old girl who wants some from a decent looking older man, but that's still rape because she's not mentally prepared to not be taken advantage of.
/r/MensRights08/05/16 11:39 AM

Agree with everything. She was a raving lunatic for sure.
/r/MensRights02/05/16 01:05 AM

Let's not stoop to that womans level here. She might have been trying to help in her own special way. I don't like seeing anyone called that without good reason.
/r/MensRights02/05/16 12:20 AM
6

I kind of agree with that but not fully. I believe the man should have some say in whether or not the baby is born, but the woman should be able to relinquish all responsibility for the child, assuming there is absolutely no unusual health concerns for the mother. I don't think a woman should be allowed to deny her husband his child, be forced to carry a child she doesn't want if there are complications, or be forced to help care for a child she didn't want, if that makes any sense. Edit: a word…
/r/MensRights10/03/16 10:21 PM

To the first point I should say it's hard to blame a girl for not liking someone who doesn't want to respect her boundaries. The second point, you're right I should more accurately have said I like what I have learned about her and am interested in learning more about her. And to the third point you nailed her reasons on the head and I think I will go ahead and do that.
/r/seduction02/02/16 12:41 AM

I get what you're saying, and either way you want to fall on this issue is definitely very morally grey, but would you rather deny a father his child or have a woman be (severely) inconvenienced for 9 months but then have no legal obligation to her child? I am pro choice but I believe that both parents should have equal say.
/r/MensRights05/12/15 12:28 AM

she shouldnt need his approval to carry to term, just like women shouldnt be able to abort without the father's consent unless it's medically necessary.
/r/MensRights04/12/15 04:41 PM

/r/MensRights29/11/15 12:27 PM

the man was in the same room and put on porn after the event started, equivalent jail time is appropriate. 4 years isn't long enough for either of them.
/r/MensRights29/11/15 12:25 PM

There are also girls who wouldn't mind, and guys who would mind. I think the mistake is assuming a person wouldn't be bothered by this, regardless of gender.
/r/MensRights20/08/15 11:50 AM

When you're watching someone do something crazy, sometimes all you can think is "what else woulf this person do? I have no idea how deep this crazy goes" and avoid a confrontation. This shit happened to me the other day. I was shut down in a truck stop and this guy had both of his windows down blasting ganster shit at midnight while screaming and clapping. I was afraid of telling him to turn it down, so i just parked the truck somewhere else.

And if I was the potential employer here I wouldn't give a shit if he had sex with a 15 year old when he was 17. I'd actually be a little uncomfortable to have found out and not consider it when considering hiring him.

I'm Serious, I think it would be a fine idea. Get some thing new started. Recruit subscribers from here and other feminist subreddits, if we can get a place going that's more discussion and less news article focused I think it would be pretty fantastic.

It's a group mentality thing, and confirmation bias. It's the nature of the internet. People see examples of discrimination over and over again, sometimes it's easy to forget that it's concentrated down by the time it gets here. You see the story of a guy who went to jail for having consentual sex with a drunk woman, followed by a single dad telling everyone how he was kicked out of his daughter's ballet prep room before her big recital and being accused of being a pedophile because, obviously t…

I wasn't trying to speak for the entire MRA either, I was speaking for myself. I don't think low of women, or assume anything of anybody simply because of race religion or gender.
/r/MensRights25/12/14 05:26 PM
11

Yeah the last paragraph in his comment was bullshit in my opinion, but I think he got gold for the other ones really. I also Dont see that he's attacking that woman, more of the college's system that decided sex must also be rape if a woman has had a drink.
/r/MensRights25/12/14 05:23 PM
27

I don't believe that at all. All I want to see is a society that sees past gender on a day to day life. You are equating this sub with the red pill, which isn't fair. All any of us want, including you, is equal treatment. That isn't going to happen by trying to argue with each other about who has it worse or accusing each other of hating the opposite gender. Some men are rapists, some men are child molesters, some are wife beaters. Some women are false rape accusers, some women abuse the alimony…

Going with the victim. Saying it's unlikely the abuser is going to be capable of both doing that and feeling guilt at the same time, but even then the guilt wouldn't be as bad as the violation the victim would have to live with. I would say even if the abuser were sent to prison he wouldn't have it as bad as what he did to the victim.

/r/MensRights02/12/14 06:30 AM

Yes, I do. It can ruin their entire lives. Sex is the most intimate thing two people can do together. Violating that can ruin a person's sense of security forever.
/r/MensRights01/12/14 01:31 PM

No, not accepting teenagers have sex and trying to stop them instead of giving them good sexual education produces long term consequences.

/r/MensRights01/12/14 11:57 AM

I don't subscribe to your religion. And I don't believe that fear of punishment from a diety is a morally defensible reason to not commit these acts. A person who is only holding back out of fear is a bad person, most healthy people regardless of their belief draw their behavior from their own sense of morality and their desire to do good rather than evil. Edit: spelling.
/r/MensRights01/12/14 11:00 AM
2

You should re-research the laws of God. Also you make a pretty good point, but unfortunately the court system is not something I would trust with that much leeway into what the law is or is not. Too many imperfect and partial judges out there to ever get that right. If you think that religious law is a good thing, you have apparently not been aware of anything that's been happening in the middle east in the last 15 years. And no, it wont be different just because your god is different.
/r/MensRights01/12/14 10:22 AM

I wasn't trying to continue my point about protection from adults beyond my first sentence. But I'll answer the question anyway. Adults are more capable of manipulation than other teenagers are, it's more likely to be a predatory relationship. Also would a 30 year old man and 14 year old girl together look like a healthy relationship?
/r/MensRights01/12/14 08:36 AM
3

Age of consent laws are to protect children from adults. Teenagers are gonna have sex. If you accept that and stop trying to stop them and just make sure they are doing it the safest way possible, they are less likely to have long term consequences.

That sucks. That's worse than what my friend is going through. His ex is letting him see the kid at least, just on her schedule, which could change as he's on the way, and on her terms. I was gonna pick her up one day and take her to his house, but the ex said no and refused to give the school a note so I could get her. No reason given, and she stayed at her moms house because of that. She doesn't even let his new fiance who is the mother of this kid's sister pick her up, meanwhile the ex's frie…

It's a bad thing to decide that based on this. It's true girls your age will be much less emotionally secure and prone to making and regretting bad decisions than grown women, but it's still a fine idea to pursue dating and relationships and even sex once a mutual trust is established.

You don't enjoy sex nearly as much as you would if you had a foreskin protecting your shaft from desensitization from the elements. Also if you're going to hide behind your religion, then I hope you are married if you're doing sex stuff.
/r/MensRights01/01/14 01:01 PM

Cutting the foreskin is identical to cutting the clitoral hood, is what he was trying to say. Genital mutilation that "can prevent infection" but also makes them look nicer is still genital mutilation. And any man who is intelligent enough to understand that will also be capable of basic hygene. That was an incredibly sexist comment by the way, saying that men are not capable of basic hygene and therefore should be circumcised.
