How do you know they want you to give something to their kids? How do you know they don’t just want something casual, that they have no intention of introducing you to their kids? They have limited time and I bet some of the ones you’re matching with just want to get … needs … met

It’s a huge trope that women acquire a crush/partner and then her female and male friends are like uhh girl what are you doing A lot of women just roll with it at this point, it’s a trend on tiktok like “fighting for my life in the gc again” “no no no he looks better irl TRUST” “he’s cutie you just don’t see the vision 😭”
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 03:09 PM

You think the average men here can limit their pool to above average women? Lol

“Most marriages” if the couple has Bachelor’s degrees or higher there’s a 25.9% chance of divorce. The chance also drops if the woman is 25+ y/o. And millennials have significantly lower divorce rates than previous generations (they’re also less likely to get married).

There are many benefits of looksmaxxing. Do it anyway, enjoy the better treatment by everyone, and bag a great girlfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 04:55 PM

Working on labor and delivery shows you really fast to never ever settle. There are men there who truly are with their wives/girlfriends every step of the way, supporting and taking care of them. In high risk pregnancies especially. It would be hell to go through pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum with a man who is less loving and competent. There are so many men who are just a dead weight.

Hmm, I think I’ve gotten with two guys who evoked that visceral need. They weren’t stereotypical chads but had good faced and were very much my type. One was 5’7” and my body would literally lose it when he was in the same room. My ex didn’t evoke that need when I first met him. Just thought he was kinda cute. We were close friends first. When we started having sex tho, holy shit. I was in a near constant haze of need for months. Interestingly, the best sex I’ve had was not with any of the above…

/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 09:50 PM

How short are we talking here
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 09:38 PM

The avg woman in the US is 5’3.5”. The avg man is 5’9”. A man who’s 5’5”, for example, is in the bottom 10 percentile. Short kings are generally taller than most women.

I’m from an upper middle class area and this is absolutely not true. It’s very uncommon for women here to have children out of wedlock. I can think of two cases, 1 when the woman was in high school and 1 a few years after HS graduation. Tho the latter woman didn’t go to college.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 01:30 PM
6

That’s how you talk about your female friends? That’s fucked.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 01:23 PM
2

I think it doesn’t make sense to say a 70th percentile 25 yo male is equal to a 70th percentile 25 yo female. Such a woman’s dating pool is men ~25-30, and such a man would not be 70th percentile of that pool. But yeah, people really overestimate their looks. A lot of young men do so IME
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 02:22 PM

But how long into seeing these women are you sharing your inner thoughts?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 05:00 AM

What about women who begin searching for LTRs early (let’s say 22) and have casual sex in between LTRs? I can name several women who fit this bill, and most actually had 1 serious LTR before 22. Women who have high body counts and have had a lot of casual sex, but have never pursued a serious relationship by their late 20s/early 30s are pretty uncommon.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 04:55 AM
6

Yeahh the narrative on this sub that there’s a sizable amount of women who reach their 30s having had a lot of casual sex but never an LTR is so funny

Why are we pretending that 28 year old women are out here having situationships rather than 20 year old college students? And why are we pretending it’s any level of normal for women to go through their 20s hooking up but never having a long term relationship? It is much more common for women who have casual sex to have some LTRs in their 20s, and hook up when they are single.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 01:22 AM
1

There’s this narrative on this sub that women in their 20s are just hooking up with “Chad” and not pursuing relationships. The reality is that women who have casual sex generally pursue a mix of hookups and relationships in their 20s. At times they will be in a monogamous relationship and if not, they’ll pursue hookups. It’s pretty rare for a woman to only have casual sex in her 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 12:59 AM

Yeah after being on a labor and delivery floor long enough you’ll see that there are a number of criteria that need to be dealbreakers and you just cannot settle on. There are other criteria that are more flexible based on the woman’s preferences. I don’t want to compromise on finding a man I can laugh and banter with, but I have friends who have compromised on that. I personally would compromise on income (to like 50% of my income)

There are plenty of men who prefer tall women. There are also men that prefer educated women with high earning jobs (though they tend not to care if she plans to stay in it or not). You are projecting your preferences and your definition of high value (well the preferences of >50% of men, but not nearly 100%). Also, this is not why tall and rich women struggle. A tall woman’s dating pool shrinks significantly if she prefers a taller man. Same with a rich woman who wants a man who makes more than…

I thought abt it more and I think a lot if these women also have avoidant attachment, but are more able to justify avoiding relationships bc of how time limited they are. Ok. And how many men actually level up to the point of going for younger women who are 9s. Or honestly even younger women who are 6s. For a 6 a man needs to be either spending good money on her or look very good for his age. For a 9, both criteria or a lottt of money would need to be involved.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 05:58 PM

Yup. As a young woman with deep rooted issues surrounding both sex and relationships, I’ve spent years avoiding both and planned to continue doing so for some time. I also had very strong friendships so I didn’t mind much. But now, I moved, it’s hard as hell to make friends, and my previous friends are finding the same in their new cities and are collapsing into relationships. My hand is being forced in terms of dating.

The jealousy sets in about 6 months - 1 year after college ends (so ~23). This is particularly true for young people today because we are so isolated and lonely. It becomes really hard to socialize after college - for the first time in our lives, we don’t have school to force proximity with potential friends. And work from home is bigger than ever. People collapse into their relationships to maintain that lifeline to human connection. And then slowly the dominoes start to fall as more people tur…

Because that narrative doesn’t have basis in reality. I’m 2 years out of college and my instagram feed is almost suffocatingly full of engagement and wedding photos. These are early-mid 20s women with men their age or a few years older. I also run mostly in secular circles. The women who avoid relationships in their 20s are basically in two categories: 1. avoidant attachment (these women tend to express desire for relationships, but struggle to actually engage in them bc underlying issues) caree…

Not really… I mean if a guy’s really attractive or good in bed a woman will stick around for some time but generally no. Like there’s a few options after the woman is initially attracted: LTR, FWB, ONS. If there’s no attraction past the physical, then LTR won’t happen. If the woman isn’t into casual sex, then nothing happens. Otherwise a woman will fuck zone you, though even for FWB there’s usually some level of rapport, like with sense of humor. And outside of some special circumstance like the…

Times where I had a strong opinion of my looks, I ate healthier, avoided emotional eating, and dressed better. Actually, vanity about my skin and believing that I naturally have good, clear skin was one of the biggest motivators for decreasing my fried and fast food intake. Times when I felt bad about how I looked, I avoided exercise and laid in bed, wore over sized clothes to hide my perceived flaws, and was prone to binge eating.

I don’t know what to tell you. I’m bisexual and find the brunette more attractive. Tbh I don’t see why the blonde is so much more attractive in your eyes. 1) Calling that brunette a 5 is crazyyy. This comment section is seemingly using a really broad definition of friend zoning — something like “when a woman befriends a man rather than trying to fuck him” — rather than the traditional definition, where a man and woman are friends, a man expresses feelings/ says they want a relationship, and the woman says she just wants to be friends.

So many men here are claiming that women just use male friends for favors or as an “emotional tampon,” it’s bewildering. I have to think that a large part of this is that these just men have superficial friendships with other men. They don’t understand that it’s normal and healthy not emotionally support your friends. It’s also normal to sometimes do favors for each other.

I don’t think these issues specifically resonate with viewers. Generally, the idea that dating is currently a shit show resonates with most people. People are looking for reasons and solutions, so they turn to these influencers, dating coaches, etc. The reality is that the vast majority of these issues are related to the decline of in person interaction and rise in using the internet for human connection (also imo a big drop off in general male-female interactions).
