What? No. They were a partnership. Nobody 'led' the other, they worked together. Also, why is the mother 'controlling' when she's calls the shots in your scenario, while the father is the 'leader' when he does the same? Pretty coloured language there, why?

That's simply not true. I'm a woman, and I am happy. I've been with my now husband for 13 years, I'm definitely not looking for something else. I know plenty of happy couples. Were all of the women you've dated unsatisfied and unhappy? Because they would all have one common denominator...
