Yeah that’s was the point I was illustrating. Thanks for the specific addition that our reference was to North American medical fields You’re also right about the religious groups getting in the way it is nearly 100% practices because of Old Testament and Islamic teachings

Yeah we aren’t saying how he should feel about his body. We are saying his hatred to his family is not valid.

Yeah but this is what the whole discussion is about. “Is it reasonable to be angry at my parents for giving me a circumcision as a baby?” Answer is no Worse part is he isn’t angry he is saying he hates them for it

Welcome to cultural traditions in the human race. Doesn’t mean he has the right to be genuinely angry at his parents for it. It’s extremely childish to do so

OP is just being angry for no logical reason because he has no evidence they did it with ill intent or to hurt him.

Yeah I didn’t say you can’t I said it’s taught in the western medical field traditionally as a way to streamline hygiene.

You’re ignoring the fact that circumcision was a medically reinforced and safe procedure to help with hygiene and safety. So yes it’s under the same category as getting a cast applied or getting a minor surgery for tissue removal. It was not done to injure or out of ill intent you being angry at you parents because you got circumcised is a clear sign of anger projection. It’s highly unreasonable and until you take that accountability you will forever and always be angry

But it’s not realistic to be angry at your parents for doing something they were taught helps ensure hygiene. It’s like getting surgery as a baby and then being pissed off that your parents dare allow a doctor to give you surgery because you didn’t consent to it. Typically when an individual wants to be angry about stuff like this means they are projecting anger from different aspects of their life into things that cannot be changed so they can feel more validated with their anger.

Because you’re pissed off over a cultural western trend your parents did not have you circumcised out of spite or to steal from you they did it in the spirit of a western medical tradition to maintain hygiene. Now if they had you circumcised because it would be “funny” or so they can steal your foreskin then yeah you can be angry but all of this was done out of the thought of ensuring your health and safety. It’s unrealistic and childish to be angry over that.

There is no way this is a legitimate post. If so you need to stop projecting your anger on your missing foreskin considering the fact that it is not a realistic thing to be angry about.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
