I know a woman at work who's a hardcore feminist. Truly vile person. If all women were like her i'd march myself down to HR and hand myself in for misogyny. Thankfully almost all the other women I work with are brilliant and rewarding to work with.

About a decade ago I managed to get my hands on a large UK university's detailed analysis of their recruitment and selection processes. It showed both the percentage of gender that applied for a role and then the subsequent percentage hired. It was actually quite good data. It clearly showed that women were often applying less for certain roles but statistically more likely to get that role than men. In fact, all the bias was in their favour.
