To me, it's like she's saying that the men should be the ones lowering their standards and go for her. She wants outside of her reach, and won't lower her standards (because that's a crime or some shit), but the men she wants will obviously be able to get better than a single mom that can't give them any time, and come with all sorts of problems, but "THEY" are assholes for not lowering "THEIR" standards and dating her. It's ludicrous. She's basically saying that the value of women should be hig…

I can live with that, but changes definitely need to be made. Hell, when I did dishes, I'd often get a woman to take my heavy garbage bag out by referring to it as "a man's job, too heavy for a woman", and you'd never seen a woman more willing to lift something heavy. Saved me the trip, lol But women, hard working women, have asked me to lift the "heavy things" for them all the time, and a lot of men will just lift the shit for them as gallantry or some shit. For things to be fair, that shit nee…

I haven't made up my mind that there isn't a wage gap. I've just pretty much made up my mind that it seems very difficult to prove that there truly is; which doesn't mean there isn't. I've made up my mind that I don't know at this point, and I believe I may never know. What I have a hard time with is people telling me they know for sure, and anybody who sees it differently than them is just plainly wrong. And I have a hard time with this because, from all that I've seen so far, it can't be prove…

Give me the sources, and I might look into it if it doesn't require 3 hours of reading. As it stands, I've looked into both sides a little here and there, and nobody's proven to me that there is a wage gap. Nobody's truly proven to me that there isn't either, and to be honest I don't care enough to make it a life goal to make my mind either way... Logically though, I have made up my mind that there are too many variables on this particular subject to account for all of them, and anybody who says…

Well, half the time the average woman really isn't strong enough to do the required heavy lifting. I mean, sure, a certain woman may be stronger than a certain man, but in average, men are stronger because... biology. I've worked a job where there was a lot of heavy lifting as part of the daily routine, and from over 30 men I worked with, only one couldn't do the lifting, and we fired his ass. We hired 5 women, and not one of them would do the lifting part, so everybody had to work a little hard…

There are too many variables to account for all of them in "any studies". What it essentially boils down to, is that there is no proof that there are tons of women out there making less just because of their gender; heck, that's against the law. Sure, there most likely is still a lot of discrimination against x, y, z and everything in between, but this world as never been perfect, and we're a long, long, long way from reaching utopia. Like there are problems in this society that concern me a hel…
