I think the usefulness of positivity comes from being able to utilize positive emotion as a motivating force as opposed to negative emotion exclusively. Stress hormones give a sharp kick in the ass, but are probably best not used long term. THE STRUGGLE WONT END. You can’t be happy all the time. Just the truth.
