Just to go off topic a bit: actually most martial artists will also have but 3 to 4 techniques that are his bread and butter. Conor throws a lot of flashy stuff, but it's the left straight what it's all about. Overeem has that left knee and left hook, Rockhold his left roundhouse, GSP that double leg. They will throw other stuff, but a lot of it is to set up those few techniques.

Great post. It is indeed very important to not lose your sense of humor and to keep a fun atmosphere around the house. You'll have more fun, the kids'll have more fun and your wife will have more fun. It's no rocket science that people want to fuck the fun person instead of the angry, sulking person. Yeah, I think the patriarchy excuse became ridiculous from somewhere in the 60s - 70s in the Western world. I mean, enough women have shown what could be achieved (Tatcher e.g.). Mind you, IMO anybody these days is trying to get into the oppression olympics. By conspiracy I mean actual active lawmaking. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not saying men are actively conspiring to keep women down. Outside of some Islam countries maybe, but that's another discussion. Historically, 90% of people, men and women, were kept in their place, either by the ruling elite, economics or social behaviour. Obviously, not all historical societies had the same rules, but yes, women were much more tied to their household than men were. Excellent post! I did kyokushin for almost 10 years. Very similar to MT (or at least Dutch kickboxing), but you can't punch to the head cuz you're punching bare knuckled. So, the big minus is the lack of boxing to the head and no grappling. But you don't rely on any cover from boxing gloves either. The big plus is: it's brutal. Well, that's the kicker. AI will be so advanced you won't be able to tell the difference between the bot and a real person. Consider e.g. how immersive video games can be. Old people seem to fall into two categories: grumpy old fucks that feel entitled and think they can get away with anything, like 'I don't have to wait in line cause I'm old, I'll just skip ahead'. IMO some people will always have felt entitled, be it nobility, clergy, (pretty) women, ... And you can make most old people's week by just opening the door to them with a smile. Lots of old people feel lonely and useless or discarded. Give them some genuine attention and you just made their week.
