If you are trying to take away someone's freedom for a certain number of years the punishment should be for longer. If you kidnapped someone for 10 years it would be strange to only go to prison for 5. It's the same idea just having someone else keeping them locked up for you.

I don't agree with the idea that in a 50/50 situation that the parent that makes more money should have to pay the other parent just to maintain consistent living conditions for the child. When a parent has custody of the child they are 100% responsible for the child except for medical payments or actives like soccer.

Do you not understand how small are numbers are, and how spread out we are? Good luck trying to get a few thousand people together. I do agree that the MRM could be doing a lot more as a whole. It shouldn't be too hard, through the use of the internet, to create a survey that would show the number of MRAs in each city. Just imagine if an organization like the NBA or NFL allowed women to play and didn't have to change the rules. The ratings for these sports would sky rocket, because everyone would be so interested to see how well a female could actually do. Even if there wasn't a significant increase in male viewers I am sure there would be a large amount of women that would watch just to support the women players.

The main problem is that the MRM is not organized well enough. There are not very many MRAs that do real life activism. We need to spend more time getting together off the internet. I believe that having sex just to have sex is perfectly fine for other people, but I want to get to know a woman before I have sex with her. I want a meaningful relationship with a woman, so when I see a woman or man that only cares about having sex I sort of develop a negative feeling towards it, because i feel that they are missing out on the best part of the other person. The comments on this page are upsetting. I thought it was common knowledge around here that women through out history were not systematically oppressed. That both men and women have had their roles in order to make society run smoothly. If you believe that the ways different societies were ran in the past was not oppressive to women, but you believe that non-westernized counties are now oppressing women and that women and girls need special help you are contradicting yourself.

I agree. She has not gotten over her ex, and has ruined a great moment between the two of you by making her problem your problem as well. Personally, I believe she made it up, for whatever reasons, but if she was telling the truth she is definitely someone you do not want to be more than friends with, as she cannot handle her emotions.
