I don’t know how many women do this, but I think the number would be higher than any of you realize. Myself I’ve known a number of women who have stayed in bad (or otherwise over) relationships because they need the financial support as well as some form of security. (Money does equal security.) Especially if young children are involved. I wouldn’t call it prostitution, sex is sex in any relationship. I refer to it as ‘selling one’s soul’.
