While not always applicable to the general population, I think that anecdotal evidence can be useful when supported, so I don’t think there was a need to be so harsh. I do agree with you that there can definitely be reasonable explanations for why men tend to appear less in a bedside caretaker role (outside of them being callous ingrates).

Thank you for the insightful comment. It felt like it came from a place of genuine concern for another human being. I like that it applies to other areas of life and learning, as well.
