But later on they often do talk about her minimum standard and she says something like “why should I have to settle?” so really she is saying what she is after in men

I don’t have exact numbers, but it easy to see that there are both younger and older women fairly evenly distributed on them. With education there is everything in between with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and some of the most moronic women on these shows have better jobs and are more educated. It just shows that regardless of these factors, women are after similar types of men

The narrative they are trying to project is how high the standards of modern women are to hammer it home to the men watching they need to self improve quickly or get filtered out and be alone. Pretty simple message tbh

I would say a lot more “normal women” than you think know them, since clips from the mm regularly go viral on twitter, TikTok, Instagram or YouTube shorts. Also as I have explained in my original post, so many types of women go on the shows so they are not a monolith, and I believe plenty go on there hoping to just get their opinion out

I disagree with this. In a dating context you are trying to attract the other gender, so what you bring to the table needs to be things the other wants. I for example like playing video games recreationally, but I would never mention this as women don’t give a shit. Instead I would talk about the aspects of myself that women look for in partners

This is an issue I have with a subset of men who want to have their cake and eat it. They want to get a traditional woman while being extremely mediocre themselves. If they want a feminine woman, then make yourself into the masculine man who will make her life complete and fulfilling and she will be happy to date you.

But do these men marry similarly educated women simply because of proximity and it’s convenient? Or do you think if they could they would pick others they may be more compatible with but they never meet them because of being in different circles? My guess is that these postgraduate degrees are not the deciding factor in these educated men choosing to marry them.

I suppose “better” is highly subjective! And from my experience for Latina girls, they tend to expect men who are more traditionally masculine as a non-negotiable, which I’m very happy to be as I will get to date a more traditionally feminine woman!

Agree with this 100%!

Good points made there, and I agree people typically marry in the same socioeconomic bracket. My broader point is women placing too much weight on their socioeconomic status on their overall attractiveness at the expense of her other traits!

Why do you believe career and education are important RMV factors for women? I can tell you most of my friends when looking at a woman for a long term relationship would be just as happy with a lawyer or a retail worker (assuming everything else about her is equal)

That’s a good distinction to make, which I should have been clearer about in my original post. However I would still argue many women place far too much weight on their education and career when talking about what they bring to the table in a long term relationship, as opposed to the great meals they can cook or that they have nurturing qualities which would make her a good mother in the future.

I’m not talking about women answering explicitly. It’s more where they say something along the lines of: “I don’t know why I can’t find a man to date I’m attracted to on my level! I bring so much to the table, I have a bachelors and masters degree and I have a great corporate job in marketing!” I’m saying they misunderstand how men view her education and career.

I agree with your point that education and financial stability is highly respected in those communities. But in these communities I am saying feminine qualities that men want are drilled into women from a young age which is what they lead with when dating men

SMV = sexual market value It essentially means net attractiveness of all your traits (physical, personality etc.)

From reading Rollo tomassis rational male, I think he is bang on about how you cannot negotiate desire. Giving up concessions in a relationship never works and you are better off creating passive competition anxiety (eg. making more money, becoming fitter or being charismatic with other women in social situations) so she knows she is a compliment to, rather than the centrepiece of your life. Where I think it goes too far is when people like Donovan sharpe say you should cheat blatantly in front …

I’m not knowledgeable on the Russian divorce rate you mentioned, but I’ll take your word for it. I’m not saying I’m looking to create a society that oppresses women as much as possible, but rather dating is not working right now for either gender due to the conditions of our society. So much of what has given women more independence whether that be financial, sexual or social has had the unintended consequence of making gender relations worse. Some things a government could do for example is to …

The reason I chose those countries was to contrast them to the west. (I could have chosen many other ones, but I wanted a diverse range from different continents) In these countries traditional masculinity and femininity are venerated and therefore most men in the west would not encounter the same problems they encounter in dating if either they went to one of these countries, or the west changed to be more like them with regards to gender relations.

I agree that fun and exciting is personality, and can certainly be both while poor, I’m just saying it’s easier to convey those things when your finances are taken care of to a high level. I also agree with you about the initial physical attraction and chemistry, but I believe on the first few dates both men and girls are unconsciously calculating how much investment it’s worth or not worth putting into the other, and seeing if someone is worth it long term or not.

I’m talking about both educated and uneducated women, as I believe all women will want a man who provides them with fun and exciting experiences, but what I am talking about may be more effective and attractive to women who do not have much money and it’s a way of improving their lifestyle and position in society. As for your point about boyfriend stage, I would say on the first few dates most girls will be looking at both chemistry/ compatibility with the man, but also trying to ascertain what …

I don’t think wealth is on its own that attractive, but it’s about what it allows you to do. Being rich let’s you give a girl fun experiences like expensive restaurants or holidays that being poor does not. (Think of how the Tate brothers use their money to provide a certain lifestyle). Most girls don’t care how the fun experiences come about, they just care that their boyfriend is able to provide them. Similarly most girls don’t really understand how much different things cost, because they hav…
